Unless, in her love for her child her neighbors and community she reaches outside what she has been
taught and strives to gather that which she lacks?

A mammoth undertaking which is likely to fail without
the conviction Mr Stoll speaks about. People who have
lived through a holocaust have conviction. We, the
spoiled generation do not. Perhaps once we have
remembered how to suffer it will be easy to find conviction once again. People who have been persecuted
have no problem finding their passion.
