Default Change

Do members of this Forum consider that they have changed through being here and reading/studying the threads and posts of other members?

To me, some minds seem to be quite set, and others change and grow/evolve as I read their posts over a period of time.

Love and Light

i am a work in progress ... always changing ... always evolving ...

i seek ... and learn ... and seek some more ...

i never stop learning ...

i know what i know thus far to be but a particle of what really is in this experience we call life ... and in the vastness and the infinite beyond ...

being on this forum has allowed me greater truth ... my truth that i have learned from others ... whether you know it or not ... you are all my teachers ...

thank you ... without you ... i wouldn't be me ...

I have a very open mind but as I connect more dots from this forum, the knowledge of the people on this forum and the links provided for reference it has allowed me to expand , redirect and look within. As the beautiful little turtle said above many times about the light, create the light and others will follow, that comment will be with me the rest of my life !

As for the individuals who challange ideas of a way of life or may seem set in their ways , I believe they would not be here if they weren't trying to learn as so many also teach here.

Change , I would say yes as just like water as clear as a moving stream can be is what is happening on many levels. The momentum of good will push right thru evil as we all become awaken.

Can you guys recall the AHA!moments or words that were the catalysts for change and growth. What was it you read or studied on the forum that effected the biggest change? I know Im being nosey here, but I find it fascinating because we are all so individualistic and different.

Dont worry about it Swanny, Dan, normal people can be oh so boring.

Love

hi carmen - Hey, your avatar is beautiful. Let me just say - because I've been off the site for a while - that I have liked a lot of your avatars, like the Arabian horse. It was inspiring. So, yes, all of the interactions on the site change everything for me. And I'm like Swanny, I used to be normal, even though I am not sure what 'normal' means anymore. (I may have to look it up!) And, also, I love your strong ways with the blokes.

As for the AHA moments, they come off-site and off-computer, but the fertility of ideas/ shared experiences here and everywhere helps propel that.

PS I have extended family near Dunedin (south island). Do you know that area?

Carmen, it was a few things that gave me the aHa moments, some of the Camelot interviews, some books like Dolores Cannon and Dannion Brinkley, some videos by Gregg Braden, Dr. Steven Greer, and many others, some audio programs like The Veritas Show, David Icke, Coast to Coast, and countless UFO videos like some of the NASA UFO vids.
But mainly I blame Swanny!! LOL!

Dunedin, yes, it is two hours away from here no caste. I passed through it yesterday on the way home from a horse trek down south. Spent the weekend with outdoorsey guys and gals. Southern guys can come across as chauvinistic but underneath they are usually sweethearts. Also very strong and capable. Horse trekking is quite a good training ground for coping in the wops wops (our word for wilderness)!!

Dan, yeah, I have read Gregg Braden. He is excellent. Havent really looked at the others, but I intend to sometime.

Its nice to just be on this forum and talk to people who don't think you are strange, cos they are strange too!!!!

Love

wops wops - that's great. When the kiwi side of the family is together, we have no idea what they're saying to each other... there are a million kiwi-isms like that!

I think being here has kicked things up a gear for me. There is no doubt that I have learned new things and been able to consider many new ideas just from being on this forum.

When discussing topics of particular interest to me, it has forced me to re-read and re-appraise material that I felt I knew - only to find that I need to work harder and that actually I know squat-all in the big scheme of things!

Yes Carmen, i think we have all changed in some way. Last year travelling to a meeting with another member, we kept having those aha moments. I have met soooooo many people that have sooooo much in common with me that its enlightening to see that there are more and more of us out there.

The Aha moments come and go. sometimes in quite rapid succession. A puzzle piece here, a question answered there, an uncomfortable attitude or viewpoint to consider when presented by another.

It all adds up to opportunities for growth. Which to me is Avalon's greatest asset. That attitude and intention favouring support. People here like to see others do well. They like to provide tools that helped them overcome obstacles in the hope that others can benefit from them as well.

I've found thousands of resources here that others have chosen to share.

Avalonians want to help. A lot gets paid forward here.

I have several authors, channellers, sources, books that I return to constantly.

Ramtha, Masters of the Far East, Hathor Material, Analee Skarin, The Door of Everything, for instance.

Every now and then I have a major learning curve, an expansion and I know that I have moved/expanded. I will then go back to my favourite books/sources and I am delighted to realize that I have reached a new level. These are really exciting Aha moments for me. It causes me to be blissful for days or months. My reading/understanding will be new and different. I will understand and see information which I did not see previously.

This is why it is so important to gain knowledge, to keep learning/expanding. One only sees, what one knows. Secret knowledge is often right in front of our eyes. It is hidden by the fact that we may not have attained the knowledge/enlightenment to access that knowledge. Knowledge is the key, plus a humility, humbleness that keeps our beingness open to the miraculous, our minds open to the awesome divine mystery that is our heritage.

Expansion, knowledge, strong desire, yearning, patience, humbleness. These are necessary qualities, together with Love, compassion awareness. Im sure there are many others. Change and growth toward enlightenment cause these attritbutes to come forward in the life of person aspiring to evolve spiritually. These qualities make up the cloak of enlightenment. Thus the higher spiritual realms are protected from those who reject or do not understand the requirements. One has to be/embody the master. This is our Great Work.

This is also an explanation of why all knowledge is not given to the seeker at the beginning. They would not qualify, or would not understand. The sacred knowledge could be misused, trashed in the marketplace. Responsibilty of ones own learning, evolving, is absolutely necessary. Our Great Self is there to guide us when it considers us ready, and not when our personality/ego is still running the show. This involves a surrendering to the knowledge and guidance of the Great Self, the God within us. The part of us that has been there throughout eternity. The part that is our Real Self. Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven within.

Love and Light to All

Okay, so we have change brought upon by books and people who inspire us and cause us to pause, to think in a different way.

We are bombarded at the moment on this forum, and from news out in the world generally, with doom and gloom scenarios. People losing jobs, homes and hope. What to do about it!!!

We are creators. The focused thoughts that we hold in our frontal lobe is what is eventually manifested into this world. Humanity has only just started to understand and use the powers of mind.

Instead of dwelling on the doom and gloom, and writing info about it, wouldn't we be better focusing on solution. Remember, what we focus on, we create.

This is also the advice from the George Green books. The minute we turn away from doom and gloom and start the engines of our great minds into a different reality, our Great God inside of us starts to impulse us with solutions, with ideas, (enlightened ideas). Ways through this morasse.

Come raise your thoughts people, realize your own powers of mind, your own power to change any situation.

Love and Light

I was fortunate, (but we do create out own fortune) to have been privvy to the earth change/economic collapse thirty years ago from Ramtha. In spite of my doubts and the utter disbelief of those around me, I quietly set about making some plans. I did it in my mind first because I did not have the power then to implement much physical change in my life. My vision of the future formed over time, as details were added, and more information understood.

The manifestation of that dream, I now live to a large degree. I have been amazed at how things have come to fruition. Im not here to blow my own trumpet.

What I wish to impart is that anyone can start envisioning exactly the life they wish to live, with the info that is available to us today. It would be quite pointless though, I think, to envision the same as we have had. That must pass away. We are like parasites on the back of our Beloved Mother Earth. We must enhance and help her, not use and abuse her.

We must understand the Power within us to effect change. The power of our mind is incredible. We must access the knowledge of the power of our mind and how to implement it.

Love and Light
