Dr Mark Shriver claims that there is enough information in a DNA sample to build up an identi-kit picture of a person's face.
His forensic molecular photofitting relies on mapping genes that are linked to skin pigmentation and, in its more complex form, to groups of genes that control facial structure. It has just been used to convict a serial killer in Florida. ![]() http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/...-sample-reveal Then you have these other guys from Genetic Genealogy (among many others institutes/projects) asking questions… * Who are your ancestors? * Where did your ancestors originate from? * Are you related to other people who have your surname? * How did your family branch? and they want you to mail a sample of your DNA in order to answer those questions. Participation is simple. Begin by ordering a public Participation Kit. Your kit will arrive in the mail and contains four swabs. Simply use the swabs to rub inside of your cheek for 30 seconds, and mail them back to the laboratory using the pre-addressed return envelope provided in the kit. Once you receive your results, your genetic journey begins. You will receive a certificate outlining your ancestral markers and your predicted haplogroup which depicts your ancestral origins. Next, your journey continues as you become part of the DNA Ancestry Project, a dynamic global project which will show you which part of the world your ancestors originated, what their race was, and where they have scattered throughout the world. You can even find out if you descended from famous lines using the "famous DNA" feature. In addition, you will be able to find out how you are related to others with the same last name by participating in DNA Surname Projects. Genebase also provides search and analysis tools which allow you to search for long-lost family lines. Genetic genealogy is the journey of a lifetime. http://www.dnaancestryproject.com/ydna_intro_about.php What are your thoughts on it? |

You would need a strange type of DNA to wear glasses like those

And they will find out that, for example, i have a strange DNA, that I belong to a particular bloodline and they'll send an assassin to kill me....I am very curious about my ancestry but seeing what is going on, thank you but no. Someone said that they had been killing special bloodlines in Iraq after making a list first.
P.S. A "nice" way to know who to eliminate... |

Well, all it would take is someone in your family, curious, well-intentioned, and unaware to set you up, and everyone in the several most recent generations. Birth records are kept, now computerized. This is pretty much how Hitler handled the Jewish situation in WWII. (I was up LATE last night, between the coughing and reading Dr. Lerma's book. Fascinating)

![]() Ha Ha yeah Swanny, lol i hope my DNA doesn't cross with that one! But i have to say there are a lot wearing glasses in my family lol! My dads eyes were so bad he had a pair of those really thick glasses which made his eyes look ten times larger than normal. I've actually investigated my ancesters and there a pretty scary bunch. |
