About a year ago I saw a documentary showing how some Muslims performing certain rituals to heal severe wounds, and to withstand pain. This was done with deep meditation techniques and chanting.
There was footage of machetes being wedge into heads and body parts, ice picks piercing the body, neck, mouth and tongue. It was blood everywhere. What I found amazing was the lack of pain being displayed, and in some cases you can see actual healing of the wounds in real time. It was a great display of mind over matter…of coarse western society is trained to view this as sadistic and/or painful…well, what you expect from sheeple who are hook on meds and routinely take trips to the Doctor’s office. Peace |

The title of this thread is misleading "muslims celebrated". Which muslims?..sunni...****ite??? I'm positive not all muslims celebrated this ceremony and it's beliefs. I wish your link was in English so I could gain more information on this.

Only the Shiite Sect have a blood ritual. The most common form of Islam is Sunna, and they have a different religion altogether from Shiites. Yin/Yang. |

Thank you for clarifying that point. I don't like generalizations because of the potential to misunderstand certain sects personal beliefs.
