First I just want to change the 512 GB to a 512 MB, cause if your puter has 512 GB...I WANT IT

I have a laptop and the last time I installed Kubuntu, I was really happy with it. But I went back to windows because of some drivers and apps that I didn't find or didn't work.

Jjajjaa, yes i have two machines one with 2GB RAM with and AMD Sempron 2800 and a Dual Core Intel 3gz with 1.5GB of Ram and both runs perfect with Linux..

Yes, unfortunately Kubuntu really "sucks", the best Kde desktop on earth is, openSUSE so far...
Vega is based on GNOME 2.28 adapated with Elementary Tools to make the experience more easier.

About drivers, you can get more drivers if you use non oficial repositories like medibuntu and getdeb repositories...

As i said, my dream is not say the people "leave behind Windows" i still use windows for music production offline, and djing in some situations, but the purpose of this desktop is replace and give more secure access to the internet .

As Alex Collier says, such a kind of "dimention of knowing"
As an speculation, after the release of Vega, will be a lot of work to do, hope to be in the high state of the circumstances
