Chile's indigenous Mapuche speak out online
Chileans have been using Twitter to highlight articles from indigenous Mapuche blogs and websites that point to widespread devastation in rural areas since the earthquake on 27 February. Many complain that the desperate situation in indigenous communities has scarcely been mentioned in Chilean media. On Global Voices , Silvia Vinas has translated Spanish-language blogs and Twitter messages that demonstrate how the indigenous community is making its situation known on the web. Rest of the story http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/8560995.stm Sobering times Love |

Earlier today I was laying down and meditating, two hours before the quake and was wondering what the ringing means, I felt it's bad as oppose to the ones I had in July'09 gibonos |

it isn't the quantity out of the norm as much as location...
Colorado and Oklahoma are normally very quiet... my mistake Colorado isn't shaking right now it is Utah up through Montana and even for California 400+ earthquakes in a week is way above the norm... Last edited by Rocky_Shorz; 03-11-2010 at 07:45 PM. |
