Default Swine Flu Spreads to 11 US States: Shutdowns

http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id...tionid=3510210

Quote:
Amid the rise in global health alerts, American authorities warn that the swine flu outbreak has hit 11 US states and closed schools in eight.

Following WHO's alert that declared a Phase 5 outbreak, US officials have announced that swine flu has sickened nearly 100 in 11 states.

Eight states closed 100 schools on Wednesday and more might need to be shut down temporarily. The schools' closing affected 53,000 students in Texas alone. The schools have been closed to keep crowds from forming, thought to be one way to slow down the spread of the flu.

Mexico, the first country to report swine flu, has already closed schools nationwide until at least May 6.

We are suppose to just accept the truth that the US Military is going to "save the day"

This is so funny. Only a fool would believe this is NOT the governments hand to find a solution to use their military power to round us up. In Minnesota they now have signs up at the hospital saying if you have a cough.............stay out.

obama

its working for ya

does anybody think this will lead to ML?
has anyone been talking about ML (in the MSM)?

if the FEMA camps are real...then, would they be used for quarantine?

just curious if this is really all coming together...via a pandemic. because we've been told by whistleblowers of many ways "they" will bring ML into play:

violence via economic fallthru, or the violence via WWIII, or the violence via black president, there are a bunch of them...i'll bet even friggin pirates...

anyway...it seems we've had a number of ways that could lead to ML. and the pandemic is now on top and pulling away from the pack.

comments? and no, i dont care for fear...i'm just noticing the trend. so i apologize if anyone mistakes this for an intentional/unintentional posting to promote fear. the sweeping actions are moving very very fast...and the numbers do not support it (relative to other, annual sickness outbreaks)

...but the MSM sure is supporting it.
It is quite possible this is indeed the vehicle they will use. The directions things are heading can appear to seem that way. After a general quarantine of locking down the borders by closing all airports and ports, would come an announcement of marshal law. What better way to keep something spreading further than controlling the movement of every citizen.

And if they do take people away, we would just be told they had the flu, and would be expected to question it no further. That is until you start to see the patterns of "the infected", consisting of free thinkers, scientists, spiritualists, thruthers, constitutionalists, people like us, and the list goes on. Unfortunately there is no way to know.

They may just be testing the waters to see how the general populace will react and exactly how much ******** the Media spews at us we will accept as fact.

Personally I think it may just be fear mongering to weaken our resolves. Things like this have been happening on an increasing level the last few years. But as each one passes the majority seems to sink deeper into a mind set that makes them say "Oh look, another crisis, oh well".

Perhaps their plan is to get us to the point where we just ignore it all no matter what they do. Then they can truly sneak in and take our neighbors away, and we come to accept it. At least most of the sheeple will.

I for one at this moment in time trust nothing the media or our government says, or most anyone else for that matter. I can tell you one thing though, the point they instill martial law, is the point I pack up just what I need and start joining together with like minded friends and family, find a quiet place, and wait out the storm. And if a fight comes my way, your damn straight I'm gonna finish it.

has anyone thought of this yet they need the soldiers to do what they tell them to do no questions asked and police I might add . How do they accomplish this simple tell the soldiers and police that you are moving their families to secure facilities for security reasons . Then hold the family as hostage and if the soldiers don`t do what they are told then their family will pay the price they will be at the mercy of those giving the orders .

They don't have a chance in hell of rounding up everyone in America for quarantine, in fact they don't have enough manpower to even round up one state, LOL
Martial law?, maybe, but so what, you just stay home and watch tv or play on the internet, eat, drink and be merry, because it won't last long.
Hmmm in second thought it would be easy to round up everyone in England though, LOL

This is interesting

Swine Flu Martial Law Bill Clears Massachusetts Senate
It took corporate media swine flu hysteria to ram through a martial law bill in Massachusetts. S18 gives the Governor the power to authorize the deployment and use of force to distribute supplies and materials and local authorities will be allowed to enter private residences for investigation and to quarantine individuals.

The Associated Press reports:

The Massachusetts Senate has unanimously passed a pandemic flu preparation bill that has languished in the Legislature before the recent swine flu outbreak.

The 36-0 vote today sends the measure to the House. Both branches have taken it up in past years, but have not been able to agree on the details.

The new Senate version would allow the public health commissioner — in a public health emergency — to close or evacuate buildings, enter private property for investigations, and quarantine individuals.

The bill specifically mandates the following:
(1) to require the owner or occupier of premises to permit entry into and investigation of the premises;
(2) to close, direct, and compel the evacuation of, or to decontaminate or cause to be decontaminated any building or facility, and to allow the reopening of the building or facility when the danger has ended;
(3) to decontaminate or cause to be decontaminated, or to destroy any material;
(4) to restrict or prohibit assemblages of persons;
(5) to require a health care facility to provide services or the use of its facility, or to transfer the management and supervision of the health care facility to the department or to a local public health authority;
(6) to control ingress to and egress from any stricken or threatened public area, and the movement of persons and materials within the area;
(7) to adopt and enforce measures to provide for the safe disposal of infectious waste and human remains, provided that religious, cultural, family, and individual beliefs of the deceased person shall be followed to the extent possible when disposing of human remains, whenever that may be done without endangering the public health;
8. to procure, take immediate possession from any source, store, or distribute any anti-toxins, serums, vaccines, immunizing agents, antibiotics, and other pharmaceutical agents or medical supplies located within the commonwealth as may be necessary to respond to the emergency;
(9) to require in-state health care providers to assist in the performance of vaccination, treatment, examination, or testing of any individual as a condition of licensure, authorization, or the ability to continue to function as a health care provider in the commonwealth

Any person who knowingly violates an order of the commissioner or his or her designee, or of a local public health authority or its designee, given to effectuate the purposes of this subsection shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than 6 months, or by a fine of note more than one thousand dollars, or both.

Homeland Security Issues Alert On Mandatory Quarantine Procedures

Paul Joseph Watson
PrisonPlanet.com
Wednesday, April 29, 2009
source: http://www.infowars.com/homeland-sec...ne-procedures/

The Department of Homeland Security has sent out an alert to health care providers outlining how BATF, FBI, and U.S. Marshals will be called upon to impose mandatory quarantines in the event of a widespread swine flu outbreak in the U.S.

According to the report, “DHS Assistant Secretary Bridger McGaw circulated the swine flu memo, which was obtained by CBSNews.com, on Monday night. It says: “The Department of Justice has established legal federal authorities pertaining to the implementation of a quarantine and enforcement. Under approval from HHS, the Surgeon General has the authority to issue quarantines.”

The memo states, “U.S. Customs and Coast Guard Officers assist in the enforcement of quarantine orders. Other DOJ law enforcement agencies including the U.S. Marshals, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives may also enforce quarantines. Military personnel are not authorized to engage in enforcement.”

However, a separate Defense Department planning document on dealing with pandemics states that the Pentagon will use the forces at its disposal to assist in “quarantining groups of people in order to minimize the spread of disease during an influenza pandemic” and aid in “efforts to restore and maintain order.”

Scientists see this flu strain as relatively mild
Genetic data indicate this outbreak won't be as deadly as that of 1918, or even the average winter.

Quote:
Dirk Brockmann, a professor of engineering and applied mathematics at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., used a computer model of human travel patterns to predict how this swine flu virus would spread in the worst-case scenario, in which nothing is done to contain the disease.

After four weeks, almost 1,700 people in the U.S. would have symptoms, including 198 in Los Angeles, according to his model. That's just a fraction of the county's thousands of yearly flu victims.

Just because the virus is being identified in a growing number of places -- including Austria, Canada, Germany, Israel, New Zealand, Spain and Britain -- doesn't mean it's spreading particularly quickly, Olsen said.
Its not the virus that bothers me its wtf tptb that are upto

I have no doubt that Bush or any other politician would do the same. You should think about where you choose to put the blame.

And of course, the military will not "save the day". If they were told to kill innocents, they'd do it or face court martial.

Have you seen the way an Englishman runs? Multiply that by 1,000 and that's more dangerous than the swine flu!
