I really enjoyed watching this Northern Sanctuary .
Thanks for sharing the discoveries of this man and how he made them. One sentence really caught my attention : " When you embrace the invisible you are then invited to do the impossible " Obviously this is so true . Every time you create a gap in the stream of mind, the light of your consciousness grows stronger. Echkart Tolle Kindness mudra Last edited by mudra; 06-02-2009 at 10:26 PM. |

A natural painkiller
On the physical and biological properties of pollinator bee nests":Cavity Structures Effect (CSE) The Agroecology Museum near Novosibirsk displays an always active honeycomb painkiller. It consists of a chair with an overhead cap, which contains a few empty but, intact honeybee combs ("dry" honeycombs, in the beekeeper's vocabulary). Anyone who sits in this chair will almost certainly feel something (please write to me what exactly you feel, I'll be grateful) after a few minutes, while those with a headache will say good bye to the pain shortly, at least for a few hours. My painkillers are successfully used in many parts of the country now, because I have made no secret from my discovery. Your hand will clearly sense the CSE emanation, if you place it from below and palm up against the cap with bee honeycombs. The cap could be made from cardboard or veneer, or better still from tin plate with tightly sealed seams. This is painkiller is yet another gift from the world of insects. My reasoning behind this invention was that people have been dealing with the honeybees for thousands of years and no one has ever complained about anything unpleasant related to them except, of course, for their stings. I've tried to hold a dry honeycomb over my head and it worked! I have decided to use a set of six frames. This is the story of my rather simple discovery. Hi Mudra,
Quite an interesting article; haven't heard of that before. Reminds me of some unusual phenomena related to evolved (buddist) priests (also known to some lessor extend in the west) where their body is not corrupted after death; it does not rot. My Tai-Chi master confirmed that what happens is that they have created an energy field ( I suspect magnetic) within their body where bacteria cannot exists/grow, and that is there also after death. I suspect that their practice creates a harmony within their body which allows the alignment of their cells in a coherent energy/magnetic field. As a side benefit, they do not get sick in the ordinary sense. The world is filled with Wonders to be experienced. /NS |

Thank you for sharing NorthernSanctuary. I remember reading about this concerning Parahamsa Yogananda:
Paramahansa Yogananda died on March 7, 1952, minutes after giving a speech at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. Apparently Yogananda knew in advance of his forthcoming death, having given several hints to his disciples. To one devotee he said, "My lifework is done." And to another, after the death of Sister Gyanmata, his most advanced woman initiate, he remarked, "Now that Sister is gone, there is nothing that holds me here." Nevertheless, it came as a surprise to his large following when news spread that their beloved Premavatar had finally breathed his last. He was 59 years old. Yet Yogananda demonstrated the truth of Kriya Yoga even after his departure. His physical body did not show the normal signs of decay. It remained "in phenomenal state of immutability," according to Harry T. Rowe, Mortuary Director of Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In a certified letter, he stated, "The absence of any visual signs of decay in the dead body of Paramhansa [sic] Yogananda offers the most extraordinary case in our experience." Considering the spirit mirrors in the material realm than it would make sense as well that having fully come to the realization of his state of immortality as a soul while occupying his body and having no fear of death as such would allow his body to be filled with light only and not being subject anymore to the laws pertaining to the field of 3rd dimension. Here is some of his quotes regarding death: Every one of us is going to die someday, so there is no use in being afraid of death. You don't feel miserable at the prospect of losing consciousness of your body in sleep; you accept sleep as a state of freedom to look forward to. So is death; it is a state of rest, a pension from this life. There is nothing to fear. When death comes, laugh at it. Death is only an experience through which you are meant to learn a great lesson: you cannot die. |

I read a number of Paramahansa Yogananda's books. I understood he gave a farewell party before he left, and did not die in the usual way, as he willed his spirit to leave the body (while in meditation). I believe it was in his Autobiography of a Yogi (post script written by one of his disciples, I believe).
Death and Birth are 2 sides of the same coin. It is transformation. Death and birth happen at the same time. What we call birth is "dying" on the other side; what we call death is "birthing" on the other side. /NS |
