yes, christine, you're correct in part -- i am one of those who have been trying to put the pieces together and keep up with reading this fast developing thread; i am
not intimidated. in my opinion, jim has made some amazing posts, especially the ones in the beginning, before he got bogged down with replying to everyone's comments, at which point the thread became chaotic. i'm more familiar with the inner, spiritual realm; but jim appears to be speaking about cosmic laws, how things work. (yes, i realise he's made some provocative statements, but somehow i'm not getting sidetracked by them.) on the whole, i appreciate his perspective, there's something about it that rings true for me and i think i can learn from him.
i know very little about scientology and would be interested in knowing more about "tech" from the freezone, will follow up on Bill's links.

Thank you for your kind post and the desire to share. I am going to quote from another thread
here. On reading enfoldedblue's words I had my own personal realization that she is saying what jiminii is trying to say, different language, different experiences but the same message. Remember who you are. And I would add share who you are. My own attempt being here.
There is so much misunderstanding on these LRH threads that it actually boggles the mind in any attempt to unwind it, we have:
1. The person L. Ron Hubbard.
2. The Church of Scientology
3. The Free Zone (Excommunicated members of the church, never members of the church, and Ex-members who extracted themselves from the church.)
3. The Tech - the tools and volumes of works of LRH and the continuing work of Captain Bill Robertson.
4. An embedded jargon that either intentionally or unintentionally implies elitism and status.
5. A new member named jiminii who is putting out a message that appears to be arrogant, confused and contradictory. A story that borders on unbelievable.
6. And a lot of speculation with little data, further confusing the issue.
So how does one proceed? I can only answer for myself and add what little bit of clarity that I can. First let me state for myself and those who read these words, I have no affiliation with LRH, the Church or even the cosmology as presented in the literature. What I do have experience with is using some of the tech developed and researched during the past 60 years.
I have simply found value in sitting in the presence of an ethical and highly trained auditor (please look up the dictionary definition of auditor) on the E Meter. It is a way to see one's own feed back loops and to release the blocks that keep one stuck in a paradigm that has been 'manufactured' either by consent, participation or entrapment.
The result for myself is the increasing certainty of Self, the lessening necessity to depend on others for answers or guidance, the increasing ability to admit when I am wrong, humility, the knowingness not only do we participate in our reality but the certainty that we are creating it. Understanding the levels of reality and how they affect us. In short reclaiming myself through remembering who I am. It is a journey of many twists and turns, one that has taken me not only to the height of the mountain but to the depths of hell. Born of this journey is Compassion, Humility and Knowledge. Remembering is love.
