▪️The losses of the AFU in the special operation zone have exceeded 71,000 men and 11,000 weapons since the beginning of the year. This is almost three times higher than the figures for the same period last year, Shoigu said.
▪️According to Shoigu, the AFU's losses in attacks on border posts in the Belgorod and Kursk regions over 8 days totalled more than 3.5 thousand people, 790 of whom were irreparable losses.
▪️The Russian military in the direction of Belgorod has completely cleared the settlement of Kozinka of the remnants of Ukrainian fighters and is continuing measures to prevent the infiltration of Ukrainian saboteurs, the Defence Ministry said in a bulletin.
▪️Russian forces have improved their position on the front line in the direction of Kupyansk and Avdeyevka, occupied more favourable lines in the direction of Donetsk and improved their tactical position in the southern direction of Donetsk.
▪️Putin thanked the residents of the Belgorod region and other border areas for their courage and promised to do everything to support them.
▪️Russia could respond in the same way to an enemy that attacks civilian infrastructure, but it has its own plans, Putin said.

Is the Ukraine Oversight website a PR stunt to convince House Republicans to fork out?
A new site titled "Ukraine Oversight" has been launched by the Pentagon to inform Americans about Washington's oversight of US made-weapons and equipment provided to Ukraine.
The website has been created at a time when Team Biden is desperately trying to ram a $60 billion Ukraine aid package through the GOP-controlled House. Republican lawmakers remain skeptical about sending more aid to Ukraine, citing the lack of oversight, Kiev's endemic corruption, and failures on the battlefield.
The new site contains a flurry of documents concerning audit and evaluation efforts, but fails to provide any clarity about where some of the funds have gone.
The Pentagon admitted in January that it had not properly tracked some $1 billion in weapons sent to Ukraine, despite over 400 personnel taking part in the oversight of Ukraine aid. As of February, the Pentagon watchdog had initiated 50 criminal probes into alleged theft, fraud, or corruption linked to Ukraine aid.
The website graciously provides a handy form for media inquiries, but with a slight twist: "This form is not intended for the reporting of fraud, waste, or abuse." Meanwhile, Ukrainian whistleblowers are left with the delightful task of navigating US federal agencies, either trying to articulate their concerns over the phone to US operators, or attempting to decipher the intricate English-language forms on their websites.
Is it just an illusion, or are the real priorities of the website focused on PR rather than catching fraudsters?

Fighters from the Romanian mercenary group ‘Getica’ claim to have taken part in a series of hit-and-run raids in Russia’s border regions, posting videos of their operations on social media. But mercs aside, Romania has long played an important role in NATO’s proxy conflict against Russia.
🔶 Joining NATO in 2004, Romania became a key garrison in the bloc’s effort to ring Russia from the Baltic to the Black seas.
🔶 When the Donbass crisis escalated in 2022, 1,000 US troops were immediately sent to Romania, with NATO troop numbers reaching 4,700 soldiers by the end of the year.
🔶 Romania is building NATO’s largest European military base, with the $2.7 billion project set to expand the 57th Air Base near the Black Sea port city of Constanta. When ready, the facility will cover nearly 30 square km, and be able to host 10,000 NATO troops.
🔶 The Deveselu Military Base in southern Romania hosts the US Navy’s Aegis Ashore Ballistic Missile Defense System. Russian officials have warned that the facility’s MK-41 vertical launch systems could easily be calibrated to fire Tomahawk cruise missiles into Russia.

Yes as we see they were intimidated by Soviet forces which is exactly what caused the Cold War. After forming the Iron Curtain, the Soviets had no interest in conquering western Europe, and would have lacked the capability to do so. Obviously the Allies took it very seriously.

Pushing for War – Ukraine About to Fall
For some time, I have reported that Special Forces have been in Ukraine, and Russia knows that. Now, leaked documents have confirmed that reality. Even in Vietnam, there were special forces there well before any official invasion. Ukrainians have used this, claiming that NATO is in Ukraine and hiding in schools using children as cover. Russia has been deploying thermobaric weapons, also known as a vacuum bomb, which is a type of explosive munitions that work by dispersing an aerosol cloud of gas, liquid, or powder, and it is more deadly than a conventional weapon of the same size. It uses the air around it, and this sucks in the oxygen – hence the vacuum bomb. Americans have been killed on the battlefield there, but they are private mercenaries. CNN reported that the dead American was Special Forces.
I have renowned sources, and I have been warning that the figures all along that Ukraine was winning have been nothing but propaganda being pushed by NEOCONS and Victoria Nuland’s sister-in-law, who runs the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), which is all about promoting war. They have been putting out the nonsense that Russia is losing and is weak to sell the idea that the West should just walk in and destroy Russia, and the Russian people will cheer for saving them from Putin.
I could say the same that the Americans would cheer if the Russians came to save us from the warmongering Democrats and RINOs to take out Washington and save us from Climate Change/Wokeness. Americans would not cheer, and neither would Russians. We both still have our own countries, irrespective of the leader in power. Both are just absurd statements.
Putin is popular despite the BS from the ISW because he was NOT a Communist, and he was NOT an oligarch. To the Russian people – he was their savior from a corrupt government despite the nonsense that others put out because their assets were seized for illegal trading in Russia. Nobody wanted the opposition to Putin, for they were representing the old world of the USSR that nobody wanted to return to.
Like the Institute for the Study (promotion of) War (ISW), NATO is also an organization that only promotes war; when communism fell in 1991, NATO should have been disbanded or drastically reduced. Instead, it moved eastward, showing it was never about communism. The entire threat was supposed to have been COMMUNISM – not the Russian people as a race. NATO needs to keep the threat of war alive, or they will lose their jobs.
The NEOCON movement really got started because the Communists’ mantra was to spread their economic religion, Marxism, to the world. Marxism so indoctrinated them that they thought this was the way of the future and that it would eliminate the business cycle. It also just happened to hand absolute power to the government. Keynes also tried to eliminate the business cycle. This dream of perpetual economic growth and endless deficit spending without ever paying a price down the road has been popular for it hands politicians complete power to regulate everything.
The New York Times was cheering Stalinism and stressed that this was the solution to the Great Depression. They were promoting Communism as most of the media back them, and they were putting out pure propaganda. It took the New York Times until 1990 to admit that their reporting covered up the truth about Stalin and the massive starvation in an effort, like Schwab, once again, to sell “equality” as our salvation. The New York Times covered up more than 7 million people who died of starvation in the Ukraine famine because it exposed that Communism had failed. The New York Times wrote that their reporting on the Russian Revolution constituted “some of the worst reporting to appear in this newspaper.” They never revoked their jouranlist’s Pulitzer Prize for writing fake news about Stalin.

We are now approaching that point where Ukraine is on the verge of losing everything. The first cyclical turning point of importance will be April 19/20, 2024. Zelensky has betrayed his own people, and some are starting to wonder if it is not payback for their hatred of Jews.
It was Lazar Kaganovich (1893-1991) was Stalin’s right-hand man, who proposed and carried out the taking of food from Ukraine that left 7 million dead. The Ukrainians were wrong to blame Russians when Kaganovich was Ukrainian. Behind the facade of propaganda about Russia taking the food, Kaganovich was Jewish and many scholars quietly think he proposed that to also punish the Ukrainians for joining Hitler and exterminating Jews.
Only after becoming president did Zelensky claim publicly to be Jewish, who converted to Christianity, and his children were baptized Christian. Here, he is in an act joking about how they used to confiscate the wealth of Jews and Russians. Some wonder if he is not the 21st Century version of Kaganovich. TRUST ME – If Zelensky is assassinated, it will not be because of Putin. Many people now see him as a traitor to their own people. Even the Neonazis are starting to see he is another Kaganovich.
We are rapidly approaching the point where Ukraine may collapse. This is why Macrone came out and talked about sending in NATO Troops. We are approaching the day when the last Ukrainian is about to fall.
Europe wants war at all costs BECAUSE the financial system is collapsing. They never consolidated their debts, as I warned them that the Euro could not survive long-term without a single national debt. All they accomplished was to transfer the currency risk to the bond markets.
Meanwhile, NATO has changed the terms that the US would approve F16s only to defend Ukraine. NATO says they have permission to fly into Russia to attack anything inside Russia. There is NO HOPE to avoid war without a wholesale change in leadership among ALL Western governments because they now NEED war. There are plenty of people who are just brainwashed and think what the world needs is to destroy Putin. The sanctions did not work, and our computer warned the West that it would lose. This is total insanity.
Others are silently cheering war in hopes of reducing the population, all to reduce CO2.

Looming presidential elections in Slovakia have sparked concerns in European legacy media that the victory of a left-wing ally to Prime Minister Robert Fico could solidify the populist’s positions in the pursuit of a more independent foreign and domestic policy. Sputnik asked Slovak politician Peter Marcek, chairman of the Slavic Unity party, what it is about Fico that’s so unnerving to the establishment.
“Robert Fico has been in office for only four months, but he has begun to implement the right policies. He has begun to pursue policies for his people, for his country,” Marcek said. “He refused to support Ukraine, stopped the supply of weapons to Ukraine, agreeing only to humanitarian assistance and saying that Slovakia would only provide such aid. Fico also doesn’t agree with many of the economic laws adopted by the European Union – which are adopted to benefit the EU itself, rather than its members.”
Across Europe, the growing popularity of politicians like Fico in Slovakia and Orban in Hungary stems in part from Brussels’ suicidal energy policies, Marcek said.

Caravan of conscience: Italian rockers deliver humanitarian aid to the Donbass
Banda Bassotti is one of Italy’s best-known revolutionary rock bands, holding concerts all around the world. Since 2017, the band has organized an annual “Anti-Fascist Caravan” to deliver humanitarian aid to Donbass residents in need, despite obvious pressure from Western governments.
This year’s caravan attracted volunteers from Spain, Italy, Mexico, El Salvador, Colombia and Nicaragua and provided essential items to hospitals and orphanages.

Why Russia resurrected the Dnepr Flotilla
Russia’s Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced this week that the country has reestablished its legendary WWII-era Dnepr Flotilla. This is not a symbolic move, as the mighty river dividing Ukraine in two parts remains a crucial frontline: Ukraine is holding the right bank, while Russian forces are controlling the left across hundreds of kilometers.
Sputnik queried experts to get a sense of some of the tasks the naval group may be expected to carry out.
🔶“The Dnepr River Flotilla’s formation is connected with the need to strengthen our forces in the southwestern direction,” Russian Academy of Military Sciences corresponding member Alexander Bartosh told Sputnik.
🔶“This is a significant and important step aimed at strengthening our position in operations on waterways,” Bartosh emphasized, saying he expects the flotilla’s missions to include foiling enemy landing, sabotage and reconnaissance operations and providing support to Russian ground forces, and possibly even being used to support Russian forces in ops in the enemy hinterland.
🔶“This idea has been around since the very start of the special military operation, since in some areas the line of contact was along the river,” Dmitry Zhavoronkov, a military expert specializing in the Russian Navy and military shipbuilding, told Sputnik.
“So in my view, the decision is an absolutely correct one. The line of contact runs up along the Dnepr River right up to the outskirts of the city of Zaporozhye,” he said.

🇸🇰Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico has become a thorn in the side of the European bureaucracy after moving to abolish the Special Prosecutor’s Office. Per Fico, the office was used by his predecessor to purge opposition. The EC has threatened to take action against Bratislava.
Nonetheless, the Eurosceptic trend is gaining steam across the bloc, especially on the right wing of the political spectrum:
🇵🇹 Portuguese conservative party the Democratic Alliance (AD) came out on top during the March legislative elections, with populist right-wing Chega gaining 50 seats, up from 12 in 2022.
🇳🇱 Populist right-wing politician Geert Wilders and his Freedom Party's (PVV) victory in the Dutch general election in November 2023.
🇩🇪 German polls show that if elections were held today, the nation's conservative Alternative for Deutschland (AfD) party would be the second largest.
🇮🇹Brothers of Italy, a national-conservative party, won the Italian general election in 2022. The party's head, Giorgia Meloni, is the incumbent prime minister of Italy.
🇫🇷 In France, Marine Le Pen’s National Rally party is leading over Emmanuel Macron's Renaissance in the polls for June's European elections.
🇦🇹 The Freedom Party of Austria, a right-wing party, is currently leading in polls and has every chance of winning Austria's legislative elections, which will be held in fall 2024.
✅ It is expected that European conservative parties will expand their presence in the EU Parliament in the aftermath of the June 2024 election.
The rise of the anti-establishment right in the EU is at least partially due to the decade-long migrant crisis and the recent involvement of Brussels in the Ukraine conflict, which has led to an economic slowdown, soaring inflation, plummeting living standards, and an energy crisis, according to international observers.

The competition between unmanned aerial vehicles and electronic warfare systems never stops. In the Kyiv offices they fear that the newest Ukrainian electronic warfare system, Pokrova, which has recently appeared, may quickly become outdated.
The Russians have begun installing advanced equipment in the kamikaze UAVs "Geran-2" (piston) and "Geran-3" (jet) that help overcome jammed areas of airspace and carry out night strikes on Kiev, Odessa and other large cities. The “Comet” is placed in a shielded space inside the UAV airframe and this effective module ensures high reliability. All antennas are hidden there in the case, and are not located outside as before. A pair of thermal batteries were added to power this system and improve its qualities.
Faced with this technology, the Pokrova electronic warfare system turned out to be potentially vulnerable and unproductive. The Ukrainian system consists of a fixed antenna device that sends false data to Russian missiles and drones. Created back in Soviet times, the FAB-3000 has an ammunition weight of 1200 kg and is designed to hit a wide range of targets, including industrial facilities, urban and port facilities. A Ukrainian strike in Russia’s Belgorod Region has killed a woman who was walking her dogs, with two other people injured in the attack, local Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov has said.
In a statement on Friday, Gladkov noted that while Russian air defense systems had been activated, the attack still resulted in several casualties. One Ukrainian shell exploded meters away from the woman with her dogs, the governor said.
“[She] died at the scene from her wounds. One of the dogs was killed, the other was picked up by the woman’s daughter,” Gladkov added, expressing condolences to the victim’s relatives.
A video shared on social media shows the woman and the two pets on the sidewalk before a sudden explosion nearby. The victim immediately collapses and remains motionless, while one of the dogs shows signs of life.
Ukrainian attacks also wounded a woman who was hit by a shell fragment in her lower body and a man who received a head injury, Gladkov said. He noted that they had been hospitalized and are receiving all the necessary treatment.
The shelling caused damage to residential buildings in Belgorod, with windows shattered in 31 apartments, one private household, and four healthcare facilities, the governor stated. Twelve cars were damaged, four of which were completely burned out. There has also been damage to property elsewhere in Belgorod Region, he added.
The area, along with other Russian territories bordering Ukraine, is routinely targeted by artillery and drone attacks by Kiev. One of the deadliest strikes in recent weeks in Belgorod occurred on December 30, killing 25 people and injuring more than 100 others. Further Ukrainian shelling of the city in mid-February claimed seven lives.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier this month that Moscow could establish a “cordon sanitaire” on Kiev-controlled territories to protect the Russian population from indiscriminate strikes.
