🔥 ‘HOW TRUMP AND VANCE HELD BACK AND DIDN’T PUNCH THAT SCUMBAG IS A MARVEL OF RESTRAINT’ – RUSSIAN FM SPOKESWOMAN
💬 “I think Zelensky's BIGGEST lie ever was his statement to the White House that the Kiev regime was left alone in 2022, without any support,” Russian FM spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote on Telegram, following Trump-Zelesnky clash in the Oval Office.

🇷🇺💬🇺🇸🇷🇺 Dmitry Medvedev gave his opinion:
A fierce scolding in the Oval Office.
For the first time, Trump told the cocaine clown the truth to his face: the Kiev regime is gambling with World War III. And the ungrateful swine got a hard slap in the face from the owners of the pigsty. That's a good thing, but not enough – we must stop military aid to the Nazi machine.

wow, that humiliation ritual is hard to watch
- Zelensky just got kicked out the WHITE HOUSE:
The poor soldiers and civilians who died on both sides.
Considering that it was the USA deep state that started the Ukraine war in 2014 with their CIA regime change coup, and continued the war thanks to Boris Johnson's meddling in March 2022. Trump team should acknowledge that.
Neither Zelensky nor Trump should be arguing about who's right or wrong. They need to stop this war now to stop the pointless killing at the frontlines.
If he's serious about peace, Trump could simply stop sending weapons to Ukraine, withdraw all USA troops from Europe, and get out of NATO. But instead he's trying to extract minerals from Ukraine, minerals which are now on Russia's side, and proposing US & EU troops in Ukraine to guard the minerals loot.
Surely Trump is aware that this would only inflame the war?
A personal facepalm. :) I've been following this whole thing daily, ever since my birthday (Feb 23!) in 2022. I've read every forum post and watched almost every video, read almost every article. I could write a book on the whole protracted geopolitical drama myself.
But today I was out all day (not yet properly caught up at all!) — and OMG, I missed the dramatic real-time televised denouement of it all.

Very interesting talk below...
When I was listening.. it was.. like going back 3 years... never mind 3 hours... so much also about oil, rare minerals... deals...
In my humble opinion... about Ukrainian minerals and oil... the average citizens should have to say something too...
I am remembering.. In Slovenia... people's referendum is require when it comes to natural resources... to give away or not...
The Duran: Zelensky HUMILIATED by Trump, Melts Down After TRAIN WRECK Deal Hands Putin Victory
Just a helpful note here. Yes, it's excellent (as Duran videos always are), but it's a shortened/edited version of the same conversation that Danny Haiphong livestreamed a couple of days ago, an hour and a half long.
So the video title here — Zelensky HUMILIATED by Trump, Melts Down — is NOT about the catastrophic televised Oval Office meeting that happened today. It was recorded before that took place.
Trump is aware. He’s trying to do the things you say he should be doing. And more.
But international politics and economics etc… are highly adversarial processes. Those in power are not all pulling in the same direction. In fact, in politics, love and war, far too often those who you think are on your side are not.

Well worth reading (and copying here!) in full, as it's being continually updated. Here's the latest version of the long report:
Zelenskyy 'regrets' what happened today: Ukrainian Officials "Desperate" to get deal back on track after Oval Office meltdown, Trump not interested
Update (1922ET): The significance of today's meltdown in the Oval Office between Trump, Vance, and Zelenskyy cannot be overstated.
Essentially here's what went down:
A deal was done, as far as US officials were concerned, and then Zelenskyy asked for more after engaging in a spat with VP JD Vance. According to CBS News' Jennifer Jacobs:"Trump fully intended to sign the minerals deal today. Two official binders were prepared -- Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and his Ukrainian counterpart and the two presidents were going to sit at a conference table in the East Room and then trumpet their success at podiums."Which explains why Secretary of State Marco Rubio looked like this in the middle of the spat:
...
None of this drama [was] premeditated. Trump officials were incredulous that some media outlets suggested it might have been. The greeting with Trump and Zelenskyy was warm, with jokes and a guest book signing in the West Wing lobby. They went straight into the Oval and the vibe was positive. White House wanted this deal done today.
Trump believes that Zelenskyy missed out on a huge opportunity to have the US as a business partner, with US companies helping Ukraine monetize mineral resources such as gas, oil, aluminum, tritrium, gallium and others. Trump viewed it as the 1st step in in a progression towards peace.

I watched the entire press conference with Zelensky. There was 40 minutes of discussion up to the argument. Most people saw at most the last ten minutes. The whole video gives the proper context.https://x.com/Heminator/status/1895618460652372330
When I first watched the argument without the proper context, I thought it was possible that Trump and Vance ambushed Zelensky or were even trying to humiliate him. That's not what happened.
You had 40 minutes of calm conversation. Vance made a point that didn't attack Zelensky and wasn't even addressed to him, and Zelensky clearly started the argument.
In the first 40 minutes, Zelensky kept trying to go beyond what was negotiated in the deal. When Trump was asked a question, it was always "we'll see." Zelensky made blanket assertions that there would be no negotiating with Putin, and that Russia would pay for the war. When Trump said that it was a tragedy that people on both sides were dying, Zelensky interjected that the Russians were the invaders.
For his part, Trump made clear that the US would continue delivering military aid. All Zelensky had to do was remain calm for a few more minutes and they would've signed a deal.
The argument started when Trump pointed out that it would be hard to make a deal if you talk about Putin the way Zelensky does. Vance interjects to make the reasonable point that Biden called Putin names and that didn't get us anywhere.
The Zelensky/Trump dynamic was calm and stable. It was when Vance spoke that Zelensky started to interrogate him. Throughout the press conference to that point, everyone was making their arguments directly to the audience. Zelensky decided to challenge Vance and ask him hostile questions. He went back to his point that Putin never sticks to ceasefires, once again implying that negotiations are pointless. Why on earth would you do this? Then came the fight we all saw.
Zelensky was minutes away from being home free, and he would have had the deal and new commitments from the Trump administration. The point Vance made was directed against Biden and the media, taking them to task for speaking in moralistic terms. This offended Zelensky, and that began the argument.
I've been a fan of Zelensky up to this point, but this showed so much incompetence, if not emotional instability, that I don't see how he recovers from this. The relationship with the administration is broken. Ukraine should probably go with new leadership at this point.
The State Department this week terminated a U.S. Agency for International Development initiative that has invested hundreds of millions of dollars to help restore Ukraine's energy grid from attacks by the Russian military, according to two USAID officials working on the agency’s Ukraine mission. How much popcorn can one consume on a Friday?

Based on a document obtained by NBC News, the State Department has also ordered the termination of a program focused on “financial sector reform activity.”
“We won’t have the eyes on where this money has gone over the last few years,” one of the officials said.
"We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure. It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace.”Trump also canceled a scheduled press conference with Zelensky that was set for later in the day.

What a lot of people are not talking about is Zelensky met with a bunch of Democrats before the disastrous meeting with Trump and Vance in front of all those cameras.
They were all praising him and basically licking his feet and telling him how wonderful he is and how much they support him etc. Who knows what else they told him. I can't find the short video I watched showing him greeting all these Democrats. I actually think I saw General Kellogg sitting in that group of Democrats.
He also met with Lindsey Graham before the trump sit down also, hard to say what that two tongued poisonous snake told him.
All this happened while Rubio and some others were telling Trump Zelensky was on board and the deal was secured.
What I'm trying to say is that it's highly possible Zelensky was swayed by some of these rogue elites to avoid doing this deal with Trump.
Somethings way off about all of this in my opinion. I'm quite certain Bessent and Rubio had to have pounded it in Zelensky's head for days now that NATO membership is not on the table but yet during this televised spat Zelensky mentioned NATO a couple of times. He said other things that just made it appear he was contradicting everything in the Economic Deal, almost like he was sabotaging the deal. The way they went back and forth about a security deal was weird also.
My take: Sabotage and that there's a traitor(s) in the midst. I also think Zelensky is listening to and trusting these rogue actors when he should be bypassing them and dealing with Trump and his team only. Zelensky's days are numbered.
There is a third aspect of high emotion discourse by way of religion and politics, and that is property which includes territory and money.
The democrats are holding onto their idea of 'defending democracy' and 'defeating authoritarianism'. But the part of the barrel that is rotten includes many of the democrats pet projects -especially ukraine. America is America but with our two party system, it is a different america at times. This is difficult for the world to deal with as many times this changing america makes it very unpredictable.
The swiftness of the trump administration should not be at the expense of haste. At some point, they have to slow down a little or mistakes will be made. The russian is calculating and patient. In american history, patience is a virtue at times and not other times.
In the meantime, the media is insinuating that the trump administration is presenting a pro-russian bias; however, trump did squelch this in the oval even though the media seemed to ignore him.
The next steps are going to be real tricky.
- How the world reacted to Trump's outburst at Zelenskyy:
European leaders have rallied around Volodymyr Zelenskyy, while Sir Keir Starmer has called both Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart.
