The tank was destroyed only a day after the Ukrainian military shared a pompous video of the tank riding near the frontlines in the Avdeevka region. Russian soldiers are ruining the myths of the almighty Western equipment.

Confirmed. The first American Abrams MBT with BRAT active armor system was destroyed on the Avdeevka frontlines.

The Abrams tank was first spotted by Russian forces near the village of Berdychi. It was moving under close control of the Russian reconnaissance UAV.

The tank was reportedly destroyed by the servicemen of the Russian 15 Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. The tank was first attacked by the small and cheap FPV drone, and then finished off with a light anti-tank grenade launcher. The additional active armor did not save the tank from the usual attack of small forces.

On the afternoon of March 5, three French military aircraft attempted to violate the Russian airspace. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the ‘interception’ foreign warplanes over the the Black Sea.

The French warplanes included an E-3F long-range radar detection and control aircraft and two Rafale—C multipurpose fighters of the French Aerospace Forces. They were ‘welcomed’ by the Su-27 fighter jet of the Russian air defense forces on duty, which was immediately lifted into the air “in order to prevent violations of the state border of the Russian Federation.”

As soon as the Russian fighter approached the French aircraft, they immediately turned back, flew away from the Russian state border and left the airspace over the Black Sea.

The situation on the frontlines near Avdeevka is changing very rapidly. As soon as official sources in the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed control over the entire first line of Ukrainian defense west of the city, reports from the front announced the fall of the second, main line of Ukrainian defense in the region.

In the afternoon of February 28, both Russian and Ukrainian sources reported that the advancing Russian forces had seized control of three villages on the Berdych-Orlovka-Tonenkoe line.

The reports from the front varied slightly. Some settlements have reportedly come under full Russian control, while fighting continued on the outskirts of the other villages. Any footage from the villages is yet to confirm the control by any of the warring sides, and the Russian Ministry of Defense has not yet declared control over the new settlements. However, it is already clear that the Ukrainian defense line west of Avdeevka has fallen.

Reports of the liberation of the villages of Orlovka and Tonenkoe by Russian forces came almost simultaneously.

Just a couple of weeks ago, Orlovka was one of the most important supply hubs for the Ukrainian garrison in Avdeevka. After the defeat in the city, the Ukrainians claimed that they had retreated to “the newly prepared defense lines”, where Orlovka appeared to be the central stronghold of the retreating Ukrainian garrison; but it turned out that Ukrainian defense was completely unable to contain the Russian offensive.

After the victory in Lastochkino, Russian troops continued their offensive in two directions, west to Orlovka and southwest, cutting the line of communication between Orlovka and Tonenkoe and took control of an important road junction in the southern part of Orlovka.

On the eve of another defeat, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Syrsky, ordered his troops to maintain control of Orlovka; but rapidly advancing from two directions, Russian forces managed to repel the Ukrainian grouping from the village in a couple of days.

According to the latest data, the village came under full Russian control on the night of February 29. The final mop up and deming operations continue on the streets.

The remnants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine retreated to the west towards Umanskoye, forced to move in an open area under fire from Russian artillery. According to reports from the front, the retreating Ukrainian forces were also shelled by friendly fire from Ukrainian artillery. Probably, the Ukrainian command made a mistake, but it is possible that this is how Ukrainian officers punish the retreating units.

The Ukrainian line of defense was supposed to lay in villages along the small river Durnaya. The river itself does not a significant obstacle to the advancing Russian troops, but it brought problems for the Ukrainian soldiers. The settlements on the river banks are located in the lowlands comparing to the Russian positions on the outskirts of Avdeevka. As a result, the retreating Ukrainian garrison was under constant close fire control of the Russian artillery and suffered heavy losses.

Berdychi, Orlovka and Tonenkoe are mostly located on the eastern bank of the river; unlike Semenovka, which remains under Ukrainian control on the western bank. Russian forces already control territories on the western bank to the north near Berdychi and to the south in the Orlovka area. If the Ukrainian command continues to resist, Ukrainian forces in Semenovka may soon be surrounded. Most likely, the remnants of the Ukrainian army there will retreat to save the military personnel and the village will soon come under Russian control.

The rapid Russian offensive showed that the defeat of the Ukrainian army was not an “organized withdrawal to more advantageous lines,” as it was declared by the Ukrainian military command, but it was a chaotic escape that had devastating consequences for the defense in the entire Donetsk direction.

Attempts by the Ukrainian military to hastily build a new line of defense along the eastern bank of the Durnaya River have failed. The remnants of the Ukrainian garrison are now forced to retreat to a new line of defense on the Netailovo-Umanskoye-Novoselovka Persha line, where their maneuverability will be significantly limited by the Karlovskoe Reservoir behind their backs, and the strongholds in these villages are located at a considerable distance from each other. There are no significant fortifications there, and the Ukrainian military is unlikely to have time to build them, since the pace of the Russian offensive is not slowing down.

Now, Ukrainian soldiers are forced to retreat across the fields under Russian fire. Anticipating the imminent retreat, the Ukrainian forces did not mine the fields. This gives the advancing Russian forces the opportunity to immediately continue their attacks to the new line of Ukrainian defense.

One of the US-supplied systems has been destroyed by a Russian high-precision strike, drone footage shows

A Ukrainian US-supplied HIMARS multiple rocket launcher has been destroyed in Russia’s Donbass, footage circulating online shows.

The video, shot by a surveillance drone, emerged on Tuesday. The HIMARS launcher was reportedly knocked out in the vicinity of the Ukrainian-controlled town of Dobropolye, more than 40km from the front line.

The launcher, as well as two other Ukrainian vehicles, was detected near a wooded area just as it apparently was being readied to fire. It was hit by an unspecified projectile, which caused the detonation of its ammo stock, as well as the uncontrolled launch of its missiles, the images show.

The explosion sparked multiple fires in the vicinity and completely obliterated the vehicle itself.

The systems have been widely celebrated by Ukraine as an ultimate weapon of sorts, given their ability to carry out high precision long-range strikes, while being able to promptly relocate to avoid counter-battery fire.

The launchers have been systematically used by Kiev’s forces against civilian targets and critical infrastructure in Donbass and elsewhere, including with controversial anti-personnel shrapnel munitions.

I try not to be too harsh, since I think most posts are well-intentioned, but the internet is flooded with low-hanging fruit. Such as this whole Khazarian thing. At the bottom of all this, we have one basic contention:


In the Diaspora, Jews have been subject to repressive laws for basically all time.

So, it is not surprising they might have been a bit rebellious in Europe, as was the case under Roman governors of Palestine.

European reactions were so severe, the Jews mostly abandoned western Europe, and became numerically stronger in Ukraine around the 1600s. Those are Ashkenazis. It's not a Khazarian Black Nobility hiding under the radar for 500 years. More like a human cattle drive.

What Helped Russia's T-72B3 Tank Destroy Ukraine’s Abrams? 23 minutes ago



The T-72B3’s performance characteristics added significantly to the tank's ability to make Ukraine’s Abrams bite the dust on the battlefield, Russian military expert Alexander Bartosh told Sputnik.

A US-supplied M1Abrams tank was recently destroyed in Ukraine by a single shot from Russia’s T-72B3 tank, the third such armed vehicle that has been obliterated in the special military operation zone in the past several weeks.

Several major factors, including the crew’s skill and intelligence work, added to the T-72B3 winning a first duel against the Abrams, Russian expert Alexander Bartosh at the Center for Military-Diplomatic Analysis and Assessments of the League of Military Diplomats said in an interview with Sputnik.

Another aspect is Russian military technical specialists, who very accurately identified the Abrams' vulnerabilities and calculated how and where the T-72B3 should fire, according to Bartosh.
He explained that “it’s necessary to hit the Abrams’ area between the turret and the hull, so that the tank can suffer severe and irreparable damage, after which it will be unable to run on the battlefield or carry out combat missions.”

Last but not least, the performance characteristics of the T-72B3, which is equipped with "an excellent gun and special equipment, made it possible to destroy the Abrams with the first shot," the Russian expert pointed out.

The T-72B3's ability to obliterate the "miraculous Abrams" with one shot shows the professionalism of the Russian military and "the inability of America and Western countries to endanger Russia," Bartosh stressed.
When asked whether the destruction of the third Abrams will affect the West’s drive to send more similar armed vehicles to Ukraine, Bartosh said that Western countries’ resolve "has already been shaken," not least because the destruction of the Abrams and the Leopards is “a serious blow to the competitiveness of Western firms."

On the whole, the Russian military-industrial complex shows its superiority - when it comes to both tanks and aircraft – over Ukraine’s Western-supplied equipment, the expert pointed out.

Former Ukrainian commander-in-chief Valery Zaluzhny has been appointed as Ukraine's ambassador to the UK, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement published on its official website.

"On Thursday, March 7, [Volodymyr Zelensky] approved the candidacy of Valery Zaluzhny for the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland," the statement read.

There had been much speculation regarding General Zaluzhny's next steps following his ousting from command last month. Many interpreted his removal as stemming from Zelensky's disappointment over the Ukrainian forces' unsuccessful counteroffensive last summer. Additionally, concerns over Zaluzhny becoming a political rival given his popularity in Ukraine were also thought to have played a role.

“I raised the question of the possibility of discussing at the UN the infringement of the Gagauz people and pressure from the central authorities of Moldova. We need to draw the attention of the international diplomatic community to the arbitrariness occurring in our so-called 'democratic' country,” Gutsul wrote on social media.

Earlier, during the meeting with Russian senior lawmaker Valentina Matvienko, Gutaul said the rights of Gagauzians are being suppressed by Moldova's central government.
