Hi Runningdeer and Elainie, me too! I tried at first to take in what he was saying and learn, but I found I went blank so fast that to this day I've no real idea what Corey is talking about...and I figured soon enough that this was probably for the best. I really can't seem to take in what he's talking about at all...some information from some people just stick and mean a lot of sense and help me, but Corey may just as well have been talking double-dutch!

Thank you for that, Elainie. It's helpful validation. It's easy for me to get stuck on "It's gotta be me", "I'm over analyzing", "I'm judgmental. Blah, blah, blah. Burp. ♡

I thought I was the only one. Was the information so boring to me? Was it Corey's voice? I don't know but was happy to hear the same thing from others. At the time I thought I was just not *getting* this groundbreaking information.

I should also add I had a difficult time reading what he had written. Was it the colors? The wording? I found it to be incoherent and something I wanted to stay away from so I gave it little attention.

Yes, yes...I forgot about the colors and bolded print. I rationalized that was the problem. Aesthetics plays a part in what I read. I gave up reformatting Corey's posts. It screamed, "Pay attention. Every thing I say is important."

This is exactly what happened to me. I attempted to listen 3 times and could not go beyond half way through the first interview. The information did not excite me, a sure sign for me, just the opposite. I personally believe the individual and collective reaction/response to the message is more important than the message or the messenger, it is what i listen to when trying to discern. After 3 attempts I decided that this information was not for me.

A GOOD STORY will keep you interested and awake.
A BAD STORY will put you to sleep.
A recounting of one's true-life experiences, and especially when there are many experiences spanning many years, can also be very boring and put you to sleep, unless of course they are turned into a GOOD STORY (for example a “Based on a true story made for tv” movie).

If Corey's true-life experiences are being turned into a story, then it is a very bad story:

I broke free when I read a post that screamed plagiarism. I ran a search. It was a cut and paste from someone else’s site. I wondered how many other posts I missed. IIRC, shortly after, he added at the bottom where he grab it from. How many readers missed that footnote? And by that time, Corey’s tone had become “primadonna-esk”.

He had other threads going with long videos that went off on tangents. Did he even watch them? It got too convoluted and not worth the time. That’s when I put myself on a quiet sabbatical. ‘The Corey thang' was a re-lesson to listen to fail-safe body cues and an upgrade in discernment skills.

I dismissed the rest until I learned of the trinkets and what nots shop. The concern now is for the sleepy, naive masses like on FaceBook and YouTube where videos are intentionally designed to pop up. I’d not want them to awaken in a false tale and have that reverberate out in the different dimensions of their lives.

Some have even gone so far as to claim Corey may be suffering from “UFO Disease”, but I doubt it. Corey hasn't been an Internet Voice long enough nor does he have enough true-life experiences (imo) to yet acquire “UFO Disease”.

Of course none of this is to say that he hasn't been “messed with” for one reason or another.

Your best and most true forms of disclosure will come from the most boring of people with the most boring of stories.

This is precisely why I have come to value Avalon so much.

I have been offered the chance by Sphere Being Alliance to translate the transcripts of all 15 episodes of Cosmic Disclosure. (I can say that there's currently a group of around 20 people working on translating these Cosmic Disclosure transcripts and other SBA articles and interviews into a variety of different languages.)

At first I was honored and excited about this opportunity to make the information available to a greater public, but after those initial feelings had settled I couldn't help but also have doubts about it... I couldn't really pinpoint why, but I felt that I should look into it more thoroughly before I embarked on this project.

I had only watched two of the Cosmic Disclosure episodes that were available on YouTube and read the first part of Corey's report on the SBA website, and while I did have some feelings of doubt and distrust while doing so, it wasn't enough for me to fully discredit it.
Strangely enough, those unpleasant feelings of doubt and distrust were, for the most part, actually caused by David Wilcock rather than Corey Goode - the way he presented and behaved himself during the episodes just didn't feel right. It felt a bit fake. But I guess I didn't take those feelings serious enough because, after all, he wasn't the one providing the information.
Perhaps there was just a part of me that wanted to believe this were all true, as I have to admit that I can still be a bit too gullible for my own good at times.

So today I spent the vast majority of my day going through this entire thread, Mozart's thread on Corey's first report, as well as those that were referenced in them, reading everyone's posts, and I have to say, it completely changed my view on the matter. And I have therefore decided to distance myself from this project because it simply wouldn't feel right to me anymore to invest my time in working for this group.

So I would like to thank you all for your contributions to this subject. I really greatly appreciate all of your input and it has been a real eye opener for me.
At times I still tend to have the (false) idea that here, in the alternative community, we are free from the manipulation and lies that are so common in the mainstream circles. But this case has been the perfect example for me to break those toughts and realise that even here we have to be constantly vigilant.

So thank you, again. I guess this was a lesson I needed to learn.

George Noory is publicizing Corey a lot on Coast to Coast show. Is it because of the support from Wilcock? Did anyone vet Coreys information or hear/see solid evidence/proofs? He seems to have garnered more mainstream attention and not sure why nobody has offered opposing testimony? So Wilcock calls George and says he needs to hear Corey and interview him and like that Corey is in? Now more people will be accepting of his story.

My Jesuitical Latin may be a bit rusty, but perhaps I speak it better than the suggested translation offered here.

“Liberationem” is actually a verb in the present conjunctive form, indicating it is derived from a larger motto or sentence and also serves as a call to action. It translates correctly as “For the liberation of…” The English word “freedom” in Latin would be the noun “Libertatum”.

“Mundi” is a noun in the genitive singular (possessive) case, “…Of the [entire] world.’

Therefore: “For the Liberation of the World” is the most correct translation.

The motto has nothing to do, at least as Latin, with the concept of “us” or “we”, nor of freedom as a concept but rather one of “freeing up” something.

(A tip of the hat here to my dear old Latin teacher, Sr. Mary Fides, IHM and all those declension drills of yore. Arma virumque cano…!)

Wow ... this is brutal.. Now I know why I don't come around these forums (or any online forums for that matter anymore). Long gone are the days where people had a truly open mind and didn't jump to conclusions one way or another.

27 Pages of opinions, intuitions, hear-say, wild acussations based on hurt egos and only one person who has been able to sum it up in few posts and distill the essence of what has substance vs which has none.
