i agree it was a tragic mistake.
It was not mistake with all that available technology on board of military crafts and precision to hit targets with less than meter accuracy.

There was something else certainly involved for sure. They must have had a very serious reason to hit repeatedly a hospital run by such a respected organization to risk their credibility and domestic support.

They did it anyway. Something stinks.

If not.....they must have got totally mad....

I followed this on twitter - its not just 'a by a mistake bombed hospital'.
In ICU were 6 patients burning in their beds.
The doctors also tried perform surgery on a desk - in order to save a life.
The compound is surrounded by a park - no other buildings near.
They were bombed over and over, reported that and BEGGED they stop the bombing. Which didn't happen.

BTW they also treat(ed) children there at the hospital - not just 'suspected terrorists' (because Afghanistan, right(?))

Even though 'someone' thinks its a mistake, not worth an investigation and the deaths collateral damage - MSF and a lot of people around the world demand an independent investigation.
Its not done by apologizing and/or brush it off as mistake.

Oh! yeah! I do remember a Few Good Men... With: ''You can't handle the truth!'' by Jack Nicholson... With Demi Moore dressed with a navy suit. Was before G.I. Jane. (Sourire) Do you by Bollywood stuffs of the 90s?

The movie centres around the trial of two marines station at Guantanamo Bay who administered a “Code Red” on another colleague. ( Sourire) These are punishments given to marines who make a mistake or don’t pull their weight to get them back on track.

Any chicken soup citizens who would pay no attention to such a universal strain of cultural DNA. Cinema and Bollywood culture it operates in come at each other on a two way street: Culture affects cinema and cinema affects culture. It is too basic a part of contemporary life for anyone with thought pretensions to ignore.

Wake up America!!

The plan for over 100 years, on paper and provable, is to create trade partnerships in order for fascism and corporations to bypass national borders and nation law .....and via that method, control the globe and all countries.

The TPP is specifically designed to do exacty that.

Did Obama Bomb Doctors Without Borders for Opposing TPP?

Claire Bernish
October 5, 2015

(ANTIMEDIA) Had the President of Nobel Peace Prize-winning Doctors Without Borders not warned us of the “imminent threat to global health” posed by the TPP, would these 22 doctors and patients have lost their lives early Saturday?

“I don’t know exactly how long, but it was maybe half an hour afterwards that they stopped bombing. I went out with the project coordinator to see what had happened. What we saw was the hospital destroyed, burning,” described nurse Lajos Zoltan Jecs of the U.S. bombardment of a hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan.

Harsh criticism and skepticism surround what is being labeled an errant U.S. bombardment of a hospital in Kunduz that left 22 people dead — many of them volunteers with Médecins sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders, the humanitarian aid agency) — but doubt lingers about the vague official story for a reason.

Doctors Without Borders Calls Airstrike a War Crime

Why did they have to blow up the whole hospital?pleaded Nasratullah, whose 25-year-old cousin Akbar was among doctors killed in the bombing. “We know that the Americans are very clever. If they can target a single person in a car from their planes, why did they have to blow up the whole building?
...

So why did the attack continue, much less happen in the first place?

Doctors Without Borders Vocally Opposes the TPP

If circumstances of any incident appear not to add up, it’s pertinent to thoroughly examine the current narrative for signs the State is attempting to mold public opinion — because it is there you will find the truth that you’re not being told.

In the case of MSF, a massive treaty cum trade deal involving U.S. interests in another part of the world from the tragedy in Kunduz can offer, perhaps, insight which might otherwise seem unrelated. As it turns out, MSF have been particularly vocal critics of the impending Trans-Pacific Partnership — and their criticism hasn’t gone unnoticed.

As reported in the National Journal in May:

It’s not usual business for us, and the reason is because we’re very worried,” explained Judit Rius Sanjuan, who oversees Doctors Without Borders drug access campaign, in a phone interview. “We are doing anything we can to make sure the public is aware.

Though the Nobel Prize-winning group has actively but reservedly opposed the massive TPP deal for years, recent letters to President Obama and a campaign of subway ads on the D.C. Metro show a more urgent, public push. Sanjuan admitted such a robust effort “is not usual practice for us.

What is so pressing for the public to know that it led the group to abandon its typically subdued tone?

Simply, drug costs. Specifically, the intellectual property and patent laws that will favor drug companies should the TPP take effect.
...

UPDATE: Doctors Without Borders released a statement following the conclusion of TPP negotiations in Atlanta:

“Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) expresses its dismay that TPP countries have agreed to United States government and multinational drug company demands that will raise the price of medicines for millions by unnecessarily extending monopolies and further delaying price-lowering generic competition. The big losers in the TPP are patients and treatment providers in developing countries. Although the text has improved over the initial demands, the TPP will still go down in history as the worst trade agreement for access to medicines in developing countries, which will be forced to change their laws to incorporate abusive intellectual property protections for pharmaceutical companies.”

Just because MSF was vocal about TPP doesn't mean its THE or even A reason why the hospital got bombed.

- many other people were/are vocal about it and not just just before the bombing
- the pharma is well established - they don't need to worry if Doctors without Borders raise attention. To whom anyway? Those who care know for themselves and those who don't care don't follow MSF/Doctors without borders anyway.

Doctors without borders demanded an independent investigation for what happened. They didn't label it as war crime - it became a catchphrase by now. People who demanded an ind. inv. didn't also just label it as war crime, rather analyzed testimonies and law, and some common sense.

Pharma, TTP - just more excuses presented as reasons.

Since this movie came out, the American and Canadian people sent hundreds of special operations troops to East Africa to catch Somali warlords; then when some of them were killed, we ordered them to pack up and come back home. Our occasional hesitancy to send men like Jessep to kill bad guys has been criticized both at home and abroad, as in Bosnia, the Sudan and Rwanda. After 9/11, we sent the military to Afghanistan and Iraq without really asking ourselves as a nation whether we were prepared to stomach the horror of both what we were asking the armed forces to do to other humans and what we were asking them to undergo themselves on our behalf. If we and especially our elected public officials both in the White House and Ottawa Parliament had been pondering the questions Jessep was challenging us with, we might well have walked into the war on terrorism with a clearer mind.

'Even War Has Rules': MSF Takes Unprecedented Action Against US Military

Announcing launch of international fact-finding inquiry, MSF president declares hospital bombing an 'attack on the Geneva Conventions'

Published on Wednesday, October 07, 2015 by Lauren McCauley, staff writer

Quote "If we let this go, as if was a non-event, we are basically giving a blank check to any countries who are at war," said Dr. Joanne Liu, MSF's international president. (Photo: Denis Balibouse / Reuters)

"Even war has rules," declared Dr. Joanne Liu, international president of Doctor's Without Borders (MSF), who announced Wednesday that the aid organization will take unprecedented action against the U.S. military by formally launching an international fact-finding inquiry into the bombing of its hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan.

The International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission, which was established by the Additional Protocols of the Geneva Conventions, is the only permanent body set up specifically to investigate violations of international humanitarian law. Though it was established in 1991, this investigation marks the first time the Commission has been requested.

"This was not just an attack on our hospital—it was an attack on the Geneva Conventions. This cannot be tolerated," Liu stated. "These Conventions govern the rules of war and were established to protect civilians in conflicts - including patients, medical workers and facilities. They bring some humanity into what is otherwise an inhumane situation."

MSF has asserted that Saturday's airstrike amounts to nothing less than a war crime. Twenty-two people died in the attack, including 12 MSF staff members and 10 patients, and an additional 37 were wounded.

Since that time, U.S. officials have altered their account of the bombing a total of four times, the most recent explanation given by General John Campbell being that the attack, which was called in by U.S. Special Forces, "mistakenly struck" the hospital. However, MSF has repeatedly said that the U.S. military was aware of the hospital's GPS coordinates.

Pending activation by signatory states, the Commission inquiry will gather facts and evidence from the U.S., NATO, and Afghanistan, as well as testimony from surviving MSF staff and patients. "The facts and circumstances of this attack must be investigated independently and impartially, particularly given the inconsistencies in the U.S. and Afghan accounts of what happened over recent days," Liu said. "We cannot rely on only internal military investigations by the U.S., NATO and Afghan forces."

During a subsequent press briefing, Liu said that the inquiry was essential to "safeguard" essential medical space within war zones. Without that protection "it is impossible to work in other contexts like Syria, South Sudan, like Yemen."

"If we let this go, as if was a non-event, we are basically giving a blank check to any countries who are at war," she concluded.

• Why isn't this story being headlined as "breaking-news" on the CFR controlled news media? ^^^^
• How come it isn't given as much coverage as the "Gun Grab" issue is being given, i.e., continuous coverage?
• Why wasn't Prescott Bush prosecuted for War Crimes during the Second World War?
• How come his son, George H.W. hasn't had charges for War Crimes prosecuted in International Court?
• Why hasn't his son, "W." already been arrested, as well? Wasn't he already tried-and-convicted?

These are all rhetorical questions. I already know the answer....
