I really like Dr. Mercola. He has a ton of great information on his website. I've been using his skin care products for about 3 months now and they are fantastic.

He's quite an interesting fellow. I ran into him in Chicago over the summer - for being somewhat in the "mainstream," he certainly knows a thing or two about saturated fats, whole grains, Vitamin D, and holistic healing.

I really trust him and have been able to avoid some Big Pharm drugs commonly prescribed long term by my family doctor. But of course Congress will not even listen to anybody but the insurance lobbyists who write legislation for them and make big contributions to their campaign funds. Yuk.

For me it has become ... give up modern medicine - except as a LAST resort. Most of the population use alternative medicine as a last resort, while the alternative should be explored and used first, and then if you are still not having any success with that then look to conventional methods. Modern medicine in and of itself isn't evil - but those that control it?... well that is another story.

I have been reading mercola for over 8 years.
He does have some very good information there on his site
but This I will say about him....
He has an agenda that is a mixed bag.

I know for a fact that Mercola fully believes in homeopathy yet he does not promote it.
He will leave people struggling with supplements and other midway healing modalties... instead of directing them right towards the cure.

If he does not have a product that helps he will not mention it. He will not mention those modalites that cure unless he can link a product to it 95% of the time.

Nor does he discuss ozone therapy and some of the other leading cutting edge therapies out there.
He will talk of what sells his products. Nor does his promote MMS and many of us here know that
MMS will cure much of the BS that supplements are prescribed for.

If you take all the supplements he sells that he convinces you that you need your monthly bill would be $150 or more, depending on how
old you are and what your difficulties are.

$30 this, $30 that. over and over and over and over.

there is some good information there but the whole truth is not spoken.

Yes, Mercola is selling stuff, no doubt.

What I do if he hawks something new I find interesting is to purchase a round from him, and if I like it, continue to get it from swansonvitamins.com. Just like iHerb.com, they will have most of the items, and the price will be about half what it is from Dr. Mercola.

I don't mind getting the first batch from him at a higher price. He provides a useful service.
