Default Wreckage found as Russian passenger plane crashes in Sinai: Egypt

A Russian passenger plane carrying 224 people crashed on Saturday in Egypt's restive Sinai Peninsula, Egyptian officials said.

A "Russian civilian plane... crashed in the central Sinai," the office of Prime Minister Sharif Ismail said in a statement.

A cabinet statement said Egyptian military planes have spotted wreckage of the plane.

"Military planes have discovered the wreckage of the plane... in a mountainous area, and 45 ambulances have been directed to the site to evacuate dead and wounded," the statement said.

A senior aviation official said the plane was a charter flight operated by a Russian company carrying 217 passengers and seven crew members. Communication with the aircraft was lost, he added.

Sergei Lzvolsky, an official with the Russian aviation agency Rosaviatsia told Interfax news agency that the plane had departed Egypt's Red Sea resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh at 5:51 am local time (03:51 GMT).

He said the aircraft did not make contact as expected with air traffic controllers in Cyprus, and "since then the plane has not made contact and has not appeared on radars".

"Prime Minister (Ismail) is expected to meet the concerned ministries and competent authorities to follow up on the accident of the Russian civilian plane that fell in central Sinai," Egyptian premier's office said.

Egypt Crash: Bodies Found 'Strapped To Seats'

    No Survivors

: What Caused KGL-9268 To Plunge From The Sky?

According to Egyptian media, the pilot reported a technical failure shortly after take off and requested to land at a nearby airport, Sky's Middle East correspondent Sherine Tadros reported.

However, Mike Vivian, the former head of flight operations at the Civil Aviation Authority, told Sky News "hostile action" should not be ruled out.

"Although hostile action has been dismissed I am absolutely certain that will be one of the focuses of investigators on the ground," he said.

Egypt's North Sinai is home to a two-year-old Islamist insurgency. Militants linked to Islamic State have killed hundreds of soldiers and have also attacked Western targets in recent months.

The plane, with registration number KGL-9268, had been flying at an altitude of 31,000ft when contact was lost, according to Egypt's civil aviation ministry.

According to Russian aviation sources, the plane was carrying 200 adult passengers, 17 children and seven crew members.

Of the passengers, 214 were Russian and three were Ukrainian, Egypt's cabinet said in a statement.

The bodies, many of them burnt, were found in a 3.1 mile radius from the wreckage.

Several hundred relatives of those on board the flight gathered at Pulkovo airport near St Petersburg, where the plane was due to land, as reports of the crashed began to emerge. Many have now been taken to a nearby hotel to await further information.

Sky's Moscow correspondent John Sparks says Russian authorities have so far conveyed very little information to those gathered, although President Vladimir Putin has expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.

He has declared Sunday a national day of mourning.

Russia's Investigative Committee, the country's top investigative body, has also opened an investigation into possible violations of flight safety procedures.

Several world leaders, including Prime Minister David Cameron, have expressed their condolences to the families involved.

He tweeted: "My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the victims of the Russian plane crash in Egypt..."

In a statement Airbus said: "The concerns and sympathy of the Airbus employees go to all those affected by this tragic accident of Flight 7K-9268."

It said the aircraft was produced in 1997 and had been operated by Metrojet since 2012. It had accumulated some 56,000 flight hours in nearly 21,000 flights.

Initially there were several conflicting reports about the fate of the plane. An Egyptian official told local media the plane was safely in Turkish airspace after briefly losing contact with air traffic controllers.

There were also reports that the plane went missing in Cypriot airspace.

Sinai plane crash: No survivors on Russian airliner KGL9268

    From the section Middle East

People waiting for their loved ones at Pulkovo airport were told the news of the crash

A Russian airliner has crashed in central Sinai killing all 224 people on board, Egyptian officials have said.
The Airbus A-321 had just left the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, bound for the Russian city of St Petersburg.
Wreckage was found in the Hasana area and bodies removed, along with the plane's "black box". An official
described a "tragic scene" with bodies of victims still strapped to seats.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared Sunday a day of mourning.

He has ordered an official investigation into the crash, and for rescue teams to be sent to the crash site.

Egyptian officials said 214 of the passengers were Russian and three Ukrainian.

A commission headed by Russian Transport Minister Maksim Sokolov is to leave for Egypt on Saturday afternoon.
A criminal case has also been opened against the airline, Kogalymavia, for "violation of rules of flight and preparation
for them", Russia's Ria news agency reported.

Oksana Golovin, a spokeswoman for the airline, said the company did not see any grounds to blame human error.

She told a press conference that the pilot had 12,000 hours of flying experience. Kogalymavia did not yet know what
caused the crash, she said, but the plane was fully serviced.

Police are reported to be searching the company's offices.

Russian authorities say the plane was carrying 217 passengers, 138 of them women and 17 children aged between
2 and 17. Most were tourists. There were seven crew on board.

Egyptian officials investigating the scene said there were no survivors.

A centre to help relatives of the passengers has been set up at Pulkovo airport, Tass news agency quoted St Petersburg city officials as saying.

    Sudden altitude loss

Initially there were conflicting reports about the fate of the plane, some suggesting it had disappeared over Cyprus.

But the office of Egyptian Prime Minister Sharif Ismail confirmed in a statement that a "Russian civilian plane... crashed in the central Sinai".

Officials say up to 50 ambulances have been sent to the scene.

Access to the area is strictly controlled by the military and the terrain is difficult, correspondents say.

One official told Reuters news agency that at least 100 bodies had been found.

"I now see a tragic scene," the official said. "A lot of dead on the ground and many died whilst strapped to their seats."

The plane split in two, with one part burning up and the other crashing into a rock, he added.

The Egyptian cabinet said in a statement that flight KGL9268 left Sharm el-Sheikh at 05:58 local time (03:58 GMT)

It added that the aircraft went off the radar 22 minutes after take-off.

The flight had been due into St Petersburg's Pulkovo airport at 09:10 GMT.

    ◾Also known as KolAvia
    ◾Founded in 1993
◾Carried out regular and charter flights to other parts of Russia from the western Siberian
towns of Kogalym and Surgut, and helicopter flights for the oil and gas industry
    ◾Rebranded as Metrojet in 2012
◾After takeover by tourism company TH&C in 2013, began flights to international destinations
    popular with Russian holiday-makers
◾Currently has fleet of seven Airbus-321s and two Airbus-320s

Egypt's civilian aviation ministry said the plane had been at an altitude of 9,450m (31,000ft) when it disappeared.

Live flight tracking service Flight Radar 24's Mikail Robertson confirmed the altitude.

He told the BBC that the plane started to drop very fast, losing 1,500 metres in one minute before coverage was lost.

Aviation official Ayman al-Mukadem said the pilot had reported technical difficulties before
the plane went missing, the Associated Press reported. The BBC's Orla Guerin in Cairo says
it is likely there will be speculation about militant involvement in the incident - Sinai has an
active militant network, with local Jihadis who have allied themselves to so-called Islamic State.

But the aircraft's altitude suggests that it could not have been struck from the ground, she adds.

Local weather observations in the vicinity of the rescue scene suggest relatively benign conditions.

ISLAMIC STATE CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR RUSSIAN PLANE CRASH IN EGYPT

Quote In other words, a proxy organization of US "shadow government destabilizing operations", trained in U.S. ally Turkey, and openly funded by both U.S. allies Saudi Arabia and Qatar, just took down a Russian plane.

The question now is did ISIS use a US-made surface-to-air missile to start what may be a very unpleasant war.

Russia Plays Down IS Group's Jet Attack Claim
Moscow has played down an Islamic State-linked group's reported claim that it downed a Russian passenger jet in Egypt's Sinai peninsula.

The Airbus A321 crashed into a mountainous area shortly after losing radar contact near cruising altitude, with all 224 passengers and crew thought to have been killed.

A statement attributed to the Wilayat Sinai (Sinai Province) group said: "The fighters of the Islamic State were able to down a Russian plane over Sinai province that was carrying over 220 Russian crusaders. They were all killed, thanks be to God."

The statement was circulated on Twitter and also posted on the Aamaq website, which acts as a semi-official news agency for IS.

However, security sources in Egypt said an initial examination suggests the plane suffered a technical fault.

Russia's transport minister also urged caution, telling the Interfax news agency the claims "can't be considered accurate".

It is unclear whether militants in the region would have the capability to attack the plane, which was flying at around 31,000ft.

All of this, the entire lot of it is about protecting the breakaway civilization from been found and seen by the public.

The whole process (Russia USA posturing, etc) is a giant TV show to entrain the public into a blind trap.

A form of blow-up doll based fakery, a masturbation, if you will.

We may have Russia getting closer to disclosure, or trying prevent the US based breakaway system from establishing totalitarian dominance over the globe, but neither of them disclosing the technology or the fact of existence of the breakaway system/civilization.

We appear to have 3 main contenders for the control of the breakaway aspects.

We have the destruction of records, destruction of ancient ruins and such, in order to remove the evidence of ET, ancient technology, and to double as a cover for entraining the people into a war response type state.

I could go on for hours here, the evidence is plentiful.

So, to recap, be careful at what way one looks at this game piece of a plane being downed.

Disclosure is close. Not an open disclosure but forced disclosure as too may technologies are hitting the glass ceiling and too many physicists, research departments, individuals, corporations, companies, technology experts, and so on.... are figuring it out.

One faction fighting for disclosure and one faction fighting to the death to enact totalitarian control.

Both driving in the same direction in the same bus, but serious fights of an extreme nature are erupting on the bus.

Oct 28-30; Satanist High (Holy Day related to Halloween); blood; human sacrifice each day; any age (male or female)

    Oct 30-31
; All Hallows Eve and Halloween Night; blood and sexual; sexual climax, association with the demons; animal and/or human sacrifice; any age (male or female and/or animal)

    Nov 1
; Satanist High (Holy Day related to Halloween); blood; human sacrifice; any age (male or female)

The second "holiest" time is May Day, the Communist-Satanist founding day.

The United States of Israel strikes again. Can't have Russia messing up its little ISIS game in Syria, can we? And what are all those Syrians doing on "Greater" Israel's land anyway? Who do they think they are, Palestinians?
Typical "lowest of the low" tactics being used here.

Apparently Russia has many enemies nowadays, Israel being one. Tit for tat.
    Sad
Let's see if they can get the cover story right with no holes in it.

Conflicting information on the pilots' communications: This from RT:

    Quote 18:03 GMT
:The pilot of the crashed plane did not address flight operations officers at Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport before the catastrophe, said the Egyptian civil aviation minister Hossam Kamal.

“Communication between flight operations officers and [the] Russian aircraft was carried out in normal way up to the moment of the catastrophe,” he said at a press-conference in Cairo, stressing that the pilot had not asked for help and the plane “suddenly” disappeared.:
