Steven, your kind words have lifted me up, and I thank you for them - as so many others here on the thread and in private messages have done. I thank you all. I have felt quite alone and beseiged for some time; it helps to feel supporting hands extended. What a lovely group has assembled here.

I have had to look deep within to see where this anger comes from. Today when I made a cup of tea, I felt the urge to just fling it across the room. I have swallowed anger all my life, and in nearly all the lives I recall, but anger will have no more of that. I have swallowed it in so many lifetimes so that I could just live and continue doing my work - that's not healthy, but is so often necessary.

Making odd little "art" pieces has saved me in this new situation.

Last night the vision of a new art piece appeared in my mind's eye, to express the anger that arose last night. The new painting will be of howling pain and tears of blood.

... Many would advise wisdom to stay away from posting at such times, and I do concur. I called this piece "In Lieu of Beer".

    Power Bag

A couple of weeks after Michael’s burial, two friends and myself took a trip to a Native American shop. As soon as I stepped through the door it felt like I stepped into a déjà vu.

I felt the gentleman watching. I looked over in part to reach out to someone to ground myself. As I did, he stepped my way. I explained that I buried my son recently and I’ve been having strange experiences. This is the first time I’ve been here but I know this place. I know you.

He was the store owner and asked me to step into his office. As he introduced himself, he took the power bag from around his neck and said, “My name is Gray Wolf.” I can’t recall all of what he said but something to the effect that he was expecting me. And he added, “This is for you.” As soon as he placed the power bag over my head, my heart whooshed. My whole body felt like it was a warm, healed heart.

Afterwards, my friends and I walked through the blustery December wind. My body held onto the welcomed solace from the physical and emotional pain. It shook but it was not because of the cold.

Experiences like the above are what got me through one day at a time, sometimes, one hour at a time. I was grateful to know that you only have to be opened to them.

I am just the other that can only hold and listen. We all as it appears, have pain and have suffered as we have grown. Our lives gain knowledge and wisdom from these experiences and the ones around us must except and grow with the pains. I have known that each of us must let the anger and pain out and out and bounce it off the walls to experience it to feel it. This is what I do for my love here and it is what each of us must do to heal. I can do no more but love. To all here, If anger bubbles to the surface one must let it out or it will fester and cause sickness. I would stand in front and receive it so you would let it go. I would hold and cry when that is what needs to be done. Know this, love is full and will take that pain and anger. Just throw it out.

Here is something for Meggings and here is something for all. Runningdeer you are a dear to all of us. Shadowself, you give to all as well as take pain to spill away.

    Love to all

Oh, beloved RunningDeer, yes yes yes. I am with you in that, through that. Earlier this year I went to hear a public talk given by a man who was my husband in another life recently. Oddly it was in a store venue that I'd visited after my beloved Mark had died, many years earlier. To my amazement, the store owner came to me after the talk and told me she remembered me. I said how is that possible, I was only here briefly, once, many years earlier. She just smiled.

In that very room, only minutes earlier, the speaker and I were alone, and he told me of a particular past life memory he had of a life in the middle ages, as a fire-y monk who ended up hung (but not killed), and then tied and burned at the stake in the centre of Venice. I do not think he'd ever mentioned that to anyone else - and I knew already of a lifetime where I'd been his wife.

There is NOTHING that happens by chance. I have chosen where and how to place my own footstep at every point as I progressed through this lifetime. Your meeting this store owner who gave you his power bag is part of this, is how these looping spiral energies work their way through our lifetimes.

I give a hoot and a holler of victory over reading your story. None of us are EVER left without support. Spirit sees to it. Thanks.

What you see in me, I see in you.

My sense is that Gray Wolf and I did a time slip rather than he and I were connected in other lives. As brief as it was, Gray Wolf and I fulfilled a mission, a contract. He help me through a point in my life (son's death) that will never be matched in depth and breadth.

Meeting was a gift that kept on giving in those dark moments of “Should I stay or should I go?” It’s one of those immeasurable influences that help me remember that life is filled with blessed wonders that far exceed the fears of pain, loss and death.

It brings me great joy to see the many first hand expressions of compassion for one another around our campfire. It brings me great joy that we can gather here despite the miles between us and feel comfortable about expressing the first hand issues that have plagued us in the now from our lifetimes. It also brings me great joy that a healing so often takes place here as well. It also brings me great joy to see us come together in compassion, love, and comfort for one another on so many levels. Yes the miles are far between us, but here we can offer a hug, a loving word, acceptance without all the judgments. Understanding.

May the day bless all of you!

Default Re: Put Another Log On The Fire

    Good Morning!

Coffee is kicking in here oh boy! Sometime today I have an appointment with an investigator who I'm hoping can help me with some of the things I've been experiencing. She is well respected and when I share with her what I have... I'm hoping it will unlock some of the things she has been investigating. There seems to be a link and that is all I will say until I get a chance to find out.

Now before this all happens I want to share this with the younger folks here.

I was not your average mother. I made plenty of mistakes but I also gave some good advise to my children and they took it to heart. That is the part I want to share with you.

Now I confess I got this advise from my mother and it worked for me and by handing it down it seems to have worked for my children.

That is and as my mother told me: "there's nothing you can't do if you set your mind to it". She drove that into me. She actually told me I could be the first woman president if I wanted it. Which of course was the last thing on my mind.

Well I instilled that in my children and when I saw they had a particular talent I sought the best I could to nurture that.

That goes along the lines of "claiming your power". It is within you to do whatever you want in life and obstacles are just hurdles to be crossed.

Now I'm going to share some things here about my oldest son who died an untimely death. When he first discovered Burningman he came back and told me all about it. This was some time after he up and decided to travel the world. something he has always wanted to do. He told me I needed to go and eventually in 2005 I did. How often does a son want his mother along for a week long festival? Not often I would think. That was because I taught my children to be who they wanted to be. My son also after his father died saw me go through many changes of heart and mind. I may have been a parent but I'm also human. I think my son gained a respect for what we both went through after his father died in a car accident much as he did. In fact they both died on the 4th of the month. My son was on May 4th, and his father on July 4th. What a coincidence eh?

Anyhow...when my son wanted to make movies he did. When he wanted to see the world he did. When he wanted to jump out of a plane he did. When he wanted to repel a mountain he did. When he wanted to scuba dive he did. When he wanted to entertain he did. He was not rich either...he just learned to save for what he wanted to do. This is exactly what my mother taught me and I in turn taught him.

Many parents will try to mold their children to their liking. You see...I was not too keen on his jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. But that is what he wanted to do...so who was I to stop him? This is what he wanted to do. So I would secretly nurture that specific talent in each child and off they went into the wild blue yonder quite literally. It turned out he was quite talented as a skydiver. He went skydiving once with a group in Arizona one time and the group that was diving with him asked him to literally join the Army so he could jump with their team. Of course he said thanks but no thanks....here they are.

So...while at Burningman I got to watch my very talented son skydive (naked of course) and while those who jumped around the same time as he did landed there was my son....flying for what seemed a very long time. He knew how to catch the air in just such a way as to stay up there longer and fly. Now I had seen him jump before but I had never seen him fly! That takes a bit of skill which he took to like a duck out of water.

As a child he was always climbing or doing some odd behavior that led to some of the things he developed as an adult.

Everyone told him he should be in the movies because he was pretty handsome and he liked the idea of entertaining. But most of the entertaining he did as an adult was in clown makeup and you couldn't even see his face. When he was in college to learn acting and drama he developed a keen interest in the portion of film making that excelled in quite quickly. Particularly lighting and camera work. He even got into a bit of directing at one point and directed a spot that ran nationally for HDTV sales. Why? Because it gave him a chance to ski which he did quite well and it was about snowboarding.

When I said earlier he worked on hundreds of films that is no exaggeration. He worked on many films I'm certain you've even watched.

My point is and I say this for all you folks that were never nurtured in such a way as to develop your personal interests and talents...Just go for it! If you can dream it you can do it. My mother told me that and I told my children that. I never told them it would be easy...but it would be worth it if it's truly what you want and in the end you will never know unless you try.

So here are some of the achievements my son made which he thought were super cool and only a fraction of what he really could do when he set his mind to it.

    Directed by...

Comments by him to the video: Uploaded on Dec 15, 2007

This is a piece that I directed for PRN that played nationally in Best Buy, Circuit City, and (boo) Wal Mart to promote the sale of High Definition Televisions. It looks much better in High Definition than on YouTube but enjoy.

    Comments:

This is a piece that I directed for PRN for the in store promotion of High Definition Televisions. This was cut after the other version mostly with unused footage from the first piece, However, to save money the footage with titles and some composite footage is the same as the previous to save money in post.

    comments to this video:

Very cool lighting rigs that were incredibly challenging including a room with 22,500 working Christmas lights programmable. It was quite a mess and very challenging

Lighting in a Bottle festival (for YoYoYo) in 2010... all lighting done rigged/owned and preformed by John

This is a repeat here for Yo Yo Yo if he had not see it yet:

Comments: Photographed by Terry Pratt yet another look at what it is we misfits do for fun

(Terry Pratt is director of photography and works for National Geographic. He is currently working on a show called Below Zero filmed in Alaska)

And here are just a few of the pass cards he used for work. One was at Cannes film festival in 2000...one for the Movie Avatar which I'm certain you've all seen.

Now I'm sharing this because one thing stands out. All I did as his mother was encourage him to go for what he wanted most and these are but a few of the results. You can in fact do the same.

I have to say I wrote this because of that painting that Meggings showed in one of her last posts. That painting should be in an art gallery and I mean that with sincerity! She should be showing and selling that art. That is talent.

That talent that is within all of us should be nurtured and if it has not should be recognized for what it is. What you do with it is up to you.

Dream big for crying out loud! When I say claim your throne I mean just that!

My youngest just got back from filming in Hawaii...he's seeking his dreams of films and music. He plays the the drums like it's a cake walk! I went to great strides to nurture that as a mother and it seems to be paying off. Because nothing and I do mean nothing will stop him in that endeavor to follow his dreams in a big way.

Over and out! Have a great dream today!

Shadowself your post brings back fun memories of my younger days.

I made two jumps out of an airplane (on a static line). No fear at all. Pure excitement. I was the first jumper of all the beginners. Jumping naked became popular later. Had I continued, it would have been easy to convince me to join the club.

    SCUBA training and diving.

USMC training. Not so much fun at the time but the memories are. And I am very thankful that I was not in combat and that I've not hurt anyone.

    Flying airplanes.

Racing motorcycles through the woods with my buddies.

But the scariest thing I ever did (I was very shy of the ladies) was my first Parents Without Partners meeting. Thank goodness I have gotten way past that problem. Much credit goes to Maud, my second wife (1982-1999), and to swing dancing. Fear no more.

I'm very late to this campfire, but the stories and tales told here are warming my heart!
    Thank you!

By the way, I heat with wood and just started my first fire of the season about an hour ago. I've spent the summer sleeping out in the woods in my hammock and so it has felt kind of foolish to heat up the house when I'm okay sleeping in the woods without heat. The house has been dropping down to mid 50's which is chilly for sitting around but I just wear a coat and stocking cap and it's okay. Tonight it's supposed to get down to 22 so I figured it's time...... feels mighty good to!

I stand with Runningdeer in welcoming you Joe. Interesting to live in an area where being out side is so much better even in the cold coming on. Heating with wood is a very calming thing during the winter times. This campfire is very warming to the heart and soul. I see so many new hearts and souls coming here. Lionhawk will have to gather us up and cut more logs for the fire and we all have to clear a bigger area and provide tree seats for all coming in. So grab a log when want, toss on the fire and ask for the talking stick. This is the meeting of the minds to bring feelings of the heart and the soul. It is a connection to the one. we all give our warmth and the fire burns bright.

Here are new folks that I see sitting around and some have already put logs on the fire. Thank you all for being here, this makes my heart gather rhythm to see new lives/essence join. Orph, Kanishk,Gardener, Sstarss, YoYoYo, Hey it's me, Calz our stick captain, Ron Mauer Sr, fourty-two, Is that like the domino game? and Caren. These are just some new folks that I have seen lately and I just wanted to welcome all around this very warm bright light. And we can never forget the silent loving man that has made this all possible, Bill Ryan and lionhawk for starting the fire. I see also 1inmany and Ulli have sat around the fire. Thank you all,

Shadowself, Runningdeer, Meggings, Delight connected so deeply. The love here grows daily. Shadowself, your tellings of your sons are wonderful and sad also but you did what is the right thing to do with all humans, you nurtured them and their dreams to do what came. I must admit that I caught a video of Robin Williams and how the NWO Murdered him the other day and just knowing that John worked with him and was good friends, I was going to post that here but thought that it would not be right.

Meggings, I totally agree with Shadowself about your paintings, That painting is way deep into the heart.
Runningdeer, your telling of Gray wolf is so heartfelt and something in you that is wonderful.
Delight, you give us so much to feel.

This is just my thanks and love to all around this fire tonight and tomorrow and always. I am moving once again towards the woods for the evening so to all a good night and sweet dreams.

    Steven

And yeah, a little wood heat in the house is feeling good.....

One year I made 30 dozen of cookies for the holidays. Oatmeal, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip, Sugar, and a Maple Oatmeal invention that turned out to be the bomb. I froze most of them. So one day I went looking for some cookies and couldn't find any. ???????????????? @^#^*((*Y* ?????????????? Who was the culprit? Shadowself had devoured them all. She reminded me of a cookieholic. She loves chocolate too! She is worse than a mouse when it comes to cookies. Then she complains about getting fat. I just tell her that there is more to hug.

10 Quotes From a Sioux Indian Chief That Will Make You Question Everything About Our Society

Luther Standing Bear was an Oglala Lakota Sioux Chief who, among a few rare others such as Charles Eastman,Black Elk and Gertrude Bonnin occupied the rift between the way of life of the Indigenous people of the Great Plains before, and during, the arrival and subsequent spread of the European pioneers.
Raised in the traditions of his people until the age of eleven, he was then educated at the Carlisle Indian Industrial Boarding School of Pennsylvania, where he learned the English language and way of life. (Though a National Historical Landmark, Carlisle remains a place of controversy in Native circles.) Like his above mentioned contemporaries, however, his native roots were deep, leaving him in the unique position of being a conduit between cultures.

Though his movement through the white man’s world was not without “success” — he had numerous movie roles in Hollywood — his enduring legacy was the protection of the way of life of his people.
By the time of his death he had published 4 books and had become a leader at the forefront of the progressive movement aimed at preserving Native American heritage and sovereignty, coming to be known as a strong voice in the education of the white man as to the Native American way of life.
Here, then, are 10 quotes from the great Sioux Indian Chief known as Standing Bear that will be sure to disturb much of what you think you know about “modern” culture.
    1) Praise, flattery, exaggerated manners and fine, high-sounding words were no part of Lakota politeness. Excessive manners were put down as insincere, and the constant talker was considered rude and thoughtless. Conversation was never begun at once, or in a hurried manner.
    2) Children were taught that true politeness was to be defined in actions rather than in words. They were never allowed to pass between the fire and the older person or a visitor, to speak while others were speaking, or to make fun of a crippled or disfigured person. If a child thoughtlessly tried to do so, a parent, in a quiet voice, immediately set him right.

    3) Silence was meaningful with the Lakota, and his granting a space of silence before talking was done in the practice of true politeness and regardful of the rule that ‘thought comes before speech.’…and in the midst of sorrow, sickness, death or misfortune of any kind, and in the presence of the notable and great, silence was the mark of respect… strict observance of this tenet of good behavior was the reason, no doubt, for his being given the false characterization by the white man of being a stoic. He has been judged to be dumb, stupid, indifferent, and unfeeling.
    4) We did not think of the great open plains, the beautiful rolling hills, the winding streams with tangled growth, as ‘wild’. Only to the white man was nature a ‘wilderness’ and only to him was it ‘infested’ with ‘wild’ animals and ‘savage’ people. To us it was tame. Earth was bountiful and we were surrounded with the blessings of the Great Mystery.
    5) With all creatures of the earth, sky and water was a real and active principle. In the animal and bird world there existed a brotherly feeling that kept the Lakota safe among them. And so close did some of the Lakotas come to their feathered and furred friends that in true brotherhood they spoke a common tongue.
    6) This concept of life and its relations was humanizing and gave to the Lakota an abiding love. It filled his being with the joy and mystery of living; it gave him reverence for all life; it made a place for all things in the scheme of existence with equal importance to all.
    7) It was good for the skin to touch the earth, and the old people liked to remove their moccasins and walk with bare feet on the sacred earth… the old Indian still sits upon the earth instead of propping himself up and away from its life giving forces. For him, to sit or lie upon the ground is to be able to think more deeply and to feel more keenly. He can see more clearly into the mysteries of life and come closer in kinship to other lives about him.

    8) Everything was possessed of personality, only differing from us in form. Knowledge was inherent in all things. The world was a library and its books were the stones, leaves, grass, brooks, and the birds and animals that shared, alike with us, the storms and blessings of earth. We learned to do what only the student of nature learns, and that was to feel beauty. We never railed at the storms, the furious winds, and the biting frosts and snows. To do so intensified human futility, so whatever came we adjusted ourselves, by more effort and energy if necessary, but without complaint.
    9) …the old Lakota was wise. He knew that a man’s heart, away from nature, becomes hard; he knew that lack of respect for growing, living things soon led to lack of respect for humans, too. So he kept his children close to nature’s softening influence.
    10) Civilization has been thrust upon me… and it has not added one whit to my love for truth, honesty, and generosity.
Painting the touch of the old school, these quotes have deep meaning in modern times too. They deeply moved me, and made me question our society. I hope they did the same to you.

    Default Wooden Ships

This little tale is about a past life I had in southwestern Greece. Somewhere around the time when Ptaah reined in Egypt.

Remember when I said to remember the little things that resonated with you as a child? One of those little things that stuck to me came from grade school. Out of a world history lesson. Back then, I was not fond of history. To many dates and details to remember, along with all the names of places and people. I don't do well with names period. We were studying about shipping back in the day. The thing that caught my attention was the fact that spices were a main commodity and were exported and imported everywhere by ships. I think that was the only fact I kept in my head for all these years as to what I learned from history. I also didn't know why until 5 years ago.

For years I thought of having a past life as a pirate. I had this fascination with the sea. I would spend so many hours on my days off looking at used sailboats online. I would make a pot of coffee and be in dreamland the whole day. I remember going on a charter boat called the Hell Cat ii, and I would ride as close to the bow, as not to make the Captain nervous, while everyone else would be down in the galley, puking their brains out. I never got seasick. The Hell Cat was a steel vessel at 112' long.

    http://ctcharter.blogspot.com/2008/0...arty-boat.html

I just loved being on the front of that boat. The salt air and seawater spraying the bow as we crossed over the waves. Like a kid on Christmas morning. Caught fish too!
I also wondered where this uncanny sense of direction came from. Logistics as well as I was in the shipping and receiving business for a few years. Also transport. I never figured out why. Then one day, looking for a job and getting disgusted with the offering of the newspaper, I decided it was time to do something I would like to do. Instead of having the economy dictate what they wanted ne to settle for. So I said to myself that I always wanted to build a boat. And there started my career in the boating industry. I absolutely love it! Everyday was a joy and I couldn't wait till the next day to do it all over again.

As it turns out I had a shipping company back in Greece. Guess what I was shipping?
Spices and other things. Turns out I was also a shipper of opium. I also had an excellent reputation. I had people working for me and that work provided for many families in our town. I never hired for the purpose of just having a person work for me because the company was like a big family. I always took care of everyone and no one went without. And because of that the dynamics of the company was very successful. We had a lot of ships that could handle all sorts of cargo. I never asked anyone to do anything I wouldn't do myself. That included long voyages. We had the logistics down to a cool science considering the time when this occurred.

My home was bigger than most. I also had a house staff that took care of things and they lived in the house as well. It wasn't slave labor in any context. The house was a little different in design as it was somewhat long. On one end of it was a pool made up of white marble. 15 x 15 and about 10' deep. It was partially enclosed with places to lay down and soak some sun after a good soak.

Then one day I had to receive a customer at the shoreline. She was coming by ship. I remember that day like yesterday. She found me because she had some highly sensitive cargo that she wanted transported sight unseen. She was mysterious in her manner. Spoke very little and with a funny accent. She had traveled many miles to find me. So I welcomed her to our house so that she did not need any special commendations. While she stayed there, I decided to show her the town. She was absolutely radiant and the town's people were poking fun at me as if to say she the one. So they were happy for me in that sense. The town fell in love with her, plain and simple. Folks would give her little gifts while we walked down to this market or that market. It was like your Italian Grandmother would pinch your cheek as they went by us. She had a great time and loosened up a bit. I was setting things up for her and that took a little time to do.

Then one day, I decided if she would like to go out on one of my ships for a day cruise. She said yes and so off we went. While on the ship, the back of, we had a small talk and I think I was heading down to the galley to retrieve some spirits and food. She said something to me and I looked in her direction. She was just stunning. I guess at that point I got a little googly eyed and when I turned back and took a step, I walked right into the main mast pole and knocked myself out and fell overboard. Apparently she jumped in and that took some guts as it was at least 15' to the water. She grabbed me and pulled us up to the ropes that were hanging down to the water. I think the cold snapped me out of it. Maybe she did something to revive me but I had been out cold. Anyways, that person turned out to be my Twin Flame. We fell in love and would spend countless hours at the pool discussing he world. She would then visit us with her presence from time to time. Everyone was overjoyed to see her when she came. Then all hell broke loose.....

Here below is one ship I used to build. Many different departments assisted in this process. Most of the small parts as they called them, were bigger than a lot of boats. I was in charge of the quality of these parts. All the parts such as counter tops, seats, ceiling and floors, dashes, bathrooms, tables, and furniture, etc. These parts looked like a million bucks when they left my crew. And I have also built other boats all by myself that are world re-known. One boat was a 25' footer that could go 63 miles an hour. I also built several of these for Lake Powell and had several boats (5) in a Salt Lake City boat show.

If you do anything in your life, make sure you love doing it. It makes a world of difference! I'm not bragging just saying.

This is just some more of the Story that Zionbrion started. I can't begin to give the post numbers at this point but here is a continuation. I do believe that I compiled something a bit back but here again can't give the posts. If anyone is interested I can repost most of this story from beginning. Shadowself gave us a pic and vid of Sila running through water puddles just recently. So here goes,

    Chapter( )

Grip seemed to move faster and pulled on the rope. I stumbled quite a few times and Grip just pulled the rope so I would stay upright and keep up. I was almost running by the time Grip stopped and I ran into him. He said, “ this is where we stop for a bite to eat and a short rest. Grip untied the rope and told me to sit down. I sat and Grip built a small fire. When the fire became bright I noticed a very worried look on Grips face. I asked him if we were in danger and he just looked at me at first and then said, “we must eat something first”. When we have eaten, I will tell you where we are and what is here that is so dangerous. This fire must not be any bigger than this and as soon as we eat we must extinguish it. There are dangerous people in these parts and if they catch us we will be eaten. I understood by looking at Grips face that we must be very quiet and eat very fast. After we got some hot food and had a drink of water, Grip put the fire out. He then said “come we must move away from here. He then tied the rope around my belt once again and we moved towards the east again. We walked for another hour or so and Grip came to halt. “This is where we will rest for awhile.” I nodded to myself and sat down to get comfortable to sleep for awhile. This is when I heard the screams and looked back from where we had eaten and saw a great fire. Grip looked at me and said get some sleep we will be moving again shortly. He then told me that we must make it to the caves that will give us an unobstructed travel to the coast. I asked him how far to the caves and he said another few hours or so. I then asked how far to the coast once we enter the caves. He then told me to rest without an answer. So I closed my eyes and fell into a fitful sleep.

I dreamed of the young girl again and this dream was filled with her approaching a campfire once again. She wearily approached and waited to see who had created it. The dog was crouched down in front of her and watching very closely. She saw to tall men and a women putting a log on the fire. She could smell the food being cooked and the coffee aroma, it made her very hungry and she wanted to move into the camp where she knew she could get some food and warmth. The dog was being very quiet and not moving so she waited to see if more folks were going to be around this fire.

I was awakened by a very large rumbling and Grip was shaking me at the same time. He already had the rope tied to my belt. He looked very worried and Said, “get up we must move now and we are going to have to run the best we can. We must make the caves within the next few hours or we will not survive. I asked what the matter was and he looked towards the north. I could see his face lit up with orange light. I turned and was suddenly gripped with fear. The entire northern hemisphere it appeared was lit with orange light and it took just an instant for me to understand, that nuclear bombs had been dropped or set off in mass. I jumped up and Grip was already moving, The rope pulled on me and my legs just moved with an uncanny rhythm to keep up. I could here the rumbling and the wind moving towards us as we ran as fast as we could.

I t seemed like hours or even days, The sound of rushing wind and the ear deafening sound of thunder was getting louder, I could feel the wind picking up behind me. Grip was yelling but I could not here him. All of a sudden there was a small hill in front of us and I could feel Grip pulling the rope even harder. The wind become tremendous and the noise so loud I could not hear. The wind seemed to pick us off the ground when we both fell into a hole. We fell about 20 feet or so and began to roll down and down. I could still hear the wind and the thunder when we rolled through an opening and a large door or so it seemed at the time was closed behind us. All was silent after that.

After what seemed like hours, I turned over and looked up at a torch on the wall. I was disoriented as to where I was but heard voices. As I turned my head I saw Grip talking to a young man. I sat up and felt around for my back pack which was still on my back and I removed it promptly because the pain in my back had been caused by the pack as I had rolled down the hole we had fallen into.

The young man looked over at me and walked over. He said “you are very lucky to be alive”. He then took my hand and helped me up. “My name is Zionbrion, Welcome to our humble home. Grip has told me about you and that Log you carry for our dear brother in the south. He also has told me of the girl you talk about. I shook his hand and another man walked over and introduced himself as YoYoYo. These two young men turned to Grip and asked if he and I would join them around their campfire. “We have food and fresh coffee”. Grip nodded and looked at me, I looked at them and said, “I would be honored”, and may I ask where we have come to”? Another gentleman walked from a different entrance and introduced himself as Ron. You have arrived at the underground road to the coast or as we call them these days, the tunnel of love and understanding.
