didn't take long to dig and find more...

"In the first part, geopolitical analyst William Engdahl discussed the role of CIA’s Graham Fuller in creating the policy of using angry Jihadist Muslims as trained terrorists in Afghanistan and elsewhere against the Soviet Union. Herein—largely drawing on the revelations made by FBI whistle-blower Sibel Edwards—Engdahl throws the spotlight on the entire CIA-sponsored Islamic Jihadist operations run through Fetullah Gülen across Turkey into Central Asia and Russia and China.

The open press statement of denial by senior reportedly former CIA official Graham Fuller in April of a link between the Boston Bombings and the CIA, labeling the reports “absurd,” may go down in history as one of the worst intelligence blunders [1] in the past century. The public admission by Fuller, on a website reported tied to the CIA, of his relationship to the Uncle of the alleged but not ever convicted Boston bombers opened a can of worms the CIA might well wish never had been opened.

The public admission by Fuller, on a website reported tied to the CIA, of his relationship to the Uncle of the alleged but not ever convicted Boston bombers [2] opened a can of worms the CIA might well wish never had been opened.

A deeper look into Fuller’s role reveals him to be a key figure in what FBI whistle-blower Sibel Edmonds terms American Deep State rogues. Edmonds worked as an FBI translator from Turkish, Azerbaijani and Farsi languages during and after September 11, 2001 when she uncovered damning email and other evidence of criminal networks linking the actors of 9/11, drug networks out of Turkey and terrorists in and around Al Qaeda together with senior Pentagon and other US Government officials. [3]
    Fuller, A Deep State Rogue

As later identified, among the people uncovered by Edmonds’ translation efforts at FBI were notorious neoconservative Richard Perle, Iraq war architect who headed Bush’s Defense Policy Board advisory committee in 2001; Douglas Feith, neocon Under-Secretary of Defense under Bush-Cheney; Anwar Yusuf Turani [4], key figure in the anti-Beijing Uygur separatist operations under the name East Turkistan National Freedom Center in Washington DC. East Turkistan is their name for China’s Xinjiang Province where Uygur riots took place several years ago. Turani modestly calls himself President-in-exile, East Turkistan (Xinjiang), though it’s by no means clear who if anyone elected him.

Whistleblower Sibel Edwards has revealed extraordinary information on the U.S. government’s support for international terrorist networks and organised crime. She was described as "the most gagged person in the history of the United States" by the American Civil Liberties Union.

In her classified translations Edmonds discovered that a criminal network had penetrated the highest levels of the US Government including Pentagon and FBI, and were engaged in illegal sales of weapons, including nuclear, of drugs and more. Criminal activities were being protected by claims of State Secrets, she asserted. Repeated attempts to call attention inside the FBI to what she was convinced was a conspiracy against the United States from within came to no avail. Her gripping account to bring attention to an alarming rogue network inside Washington is the subject of her autobiography, Classified Woman – The Sibel Edmonds Story. [5]

Attorney General John Ashcroft went all the way to the Supreme Court to muzzle her under a little-used Doctrine of State Secrets. Edmonds, suffering under an unprecedented Bush Administration gag order, was banned from revealing the complicity of high-ranking US and Turkish figures uncovered by her and duly reported at FBI before she was fired in 2002 for “blowing the whistle.” She partly got around the Government gag by posting photos with no comment on her website. Others filled in the names. [6]

Graham Fuller was one of the 21 American Deep State rogues Edmonds posted.

In 1995, according to investigative journalist Daniel Hopsicker, the uncle of the alleged Boston bombers, Ruslan Tsarnaev, “incorporated the Congress of Chechen International Organizations in Maryland, using as the address listed on incorporation documents 11114 Whisperwood Lane, in Rockville Maryland, the home address of his then-father-in-law.” [7] Father-in-law was Graham Fuller whose daughter was married to Uncle Ruslan.

Chechnya, an autonomous province of Russia deeply involved in oil pipelines from the Caspian Sea, has been the scene of Islamic jihad terrorists since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. In 1995 when Uncle Ruslan founded the Congress of Chechen International Organizations from Graham Fuller’s home, the Islamist Jihad terror war against Moscow was raging full-force in Chechnya. Putin and Russian intelligence have repeatedly claimed the terrorism was being fed from outside.

As more is coming out on the role of Fuller, the evidence points to the conclusion that the Chechnya terrorists were also a project bearing the footprints of the “former” CIA political Islam expert, Graham Fuller. By 1988 Fuller had formally moved from a very senior post at CIA to the neo-conservative think tank, RAND Corporation, where he officially worked on the “Middle East, Central Asia, South and Southeast Asia, and problems of ethnicity and religion.” [8]

While at RAND Fuller played a key role gaining asylum for a Turkish national in the USA. Fetullah Gülen, a Turkish national who was forced to flee in 1999 and seek asylum, won his US residence permit due to the intervention of two senior CIA or former men. One was Graham E. Fuller. [9]

Foreign Policy Journal describes the role of Fuller and the CIA in getting indicted Turkish fugitive Gülen asylum in the USA: “Fethullah Gülen became a green card holder despite serious opposition from FBI and from Homeland Security Department. Former CIA officers (formally and informally) such as Graham Fuller and Morton Abromovitz were some of the prominent references in Gülen’s green card application.” [10]
    Jihad Spreads to Central Asia

From his new luxurious heavily-guarded estate in Saylorsburg, a remote part of eastern Pennsylvania, Gülen launched a series of fundamentalist Salafist mosques and madrasses, not only in his native Turkey where he was the alleged power behind Turkey’s AKP regime of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, himself a product of Gülen’s schools, but across the Islamic regions of Central Asia as they separated from the Soviet Union in the chaos after 1991. [11]

According to Edmonds, an authority on the subject, “US Islamization Operations in Central Asia via Gülen started in late 1997, early 1998. That brings me to …Graham Fuller.” [12]

Fethullah Gulen, lives in Pennsylvania. From there he runs a $25 billion international network. He is tied to hundreds of Gulen charter schools in the United States itself, 36 of which are located in Texas alone.

A memoir by former head of Turkish intelligence, Osman Nuri Gundes, claims that Fethullah Gülen’s worldwide Islamic movement based in Pennsylvania has been providing cover for the CIA since the mid-1990s, and that in the 90s, the movement “sheltered 130 CIA agents” at its schools in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan alone. [13]

Gülen schools in Russian Chechnya and Dagestan regions, both locations of fanatical Jihadists since 1991, were ultimately banned by Putin. The Russian government has banned all Gülen schools and the activities of the Gülen-linked Nurcu sect in Russia. Over 20 Turkish followers of Gülen were deported from Russia in 2002-2004. In 1999 Uzbekistan closed all Gülen’s Madrasas and shortly afterward arrested eight journalists who were graduates of Gülen schools, and found them guilty of setting up an illegal religious group and of involvement in an extremist organization. In Turkmenistan, government authorities placed Gülen’s schools under close scrutiny and have ordered them to scrap the history of religion from curriculums. [14]

Responsible Turkish journalists I’ve met with relate that Gülen-loyal police tied to Edrogan’s AKP have infiltrated the Turkish police, intelligence services and other key state institution and are systematically arresting, purging or silencing all nationalist military, trade union and other secular figues opposed to creation of an Islamic Sharia state in Turkey, uprooting ninety or more years of Kemalist legal foundations. More than one hundred Turkish journalists have been arrested for writing critically about the actions of Gülen’s AKP.

Gülen’s public profile is as a humble, deeply spiritual Imam of love and brotherhood. His record in practice is anything but. Gülen once stated, “You must move in the arteries of the system without anyone noticing your existence, until you reach all the power centers, until the conditions are ripe." Sounds a bit like Lenin in the old days. Certain networks in Washington including people in and around Fuller obviously have no problem with that.

Why would the CIA and US agencies want Central Asia? As Obama adviser, Zbigniew Brzezinski, notes in his now-famous book, The Grand Chessboard, “For America, the chief geopolitical prize is Eurasia...America’s global primacy is directly dependent on how long and how effectively its preponderance on the Eurasian continent is sustained…It follows that America’s primary interest is to help ensure that no single power comes to control this geopolitical space and that the global community has unhindered financial and economic access to it."

Washington has used Turkey and the AKP fundamentalist networks of Gülen to wreak havoc across the post-communist oil and mineral-rich regions of Central Asia. Graham Fuller’s foot prints are all over those covert operations as are Fetullah Gülen’s. In 2008 Fuller published a book titled, “The New Turkish Republic: Turkey as a Pivotal State in the Muslim World.” As Sibel Edmonds describes, the process involved using Turkey with assistance from ’actors from Pakistan, and Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia’ as a proxy, which in turn used Bin Laden and the Taliban and others as a proxy terrorist army before 9/11. [15]

Edmonds notes regarding US operations in Central Asia, “This started more than a decade-long illegal, covert operation in Central Asia by a small group in the US intent on furthering the oil industry and the Military Industrial Complex, using Turkish operatives, Saudi partners and Pakistani allies, furthering this objective in the name of Islam.” [16]

What did Uncle Ruslan Tsarnaev, uncle of the Boston alleged bombers do when he was married to Graham Fuller’s daughter? Ruslan worked for companies connected to Halliburton, doing oil deals in the Caucasus and as “consultant” for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in the former Soviet Republic of Kazakhstan. Russia barred USAID from its soil in late 2012, alleging USAID together with CIA was attempting to influence the internal political processes in the country. [17]

Some are beginning to ask whether the Boston bombing might have been a deception operation carried out by the Rogues associated with Graham Fuller and the network within the CIA and Pentagon, to make it appear Putin was behind the ghastly events. In any case, when Graham Fuller went to the press to publicly denounce CIA links to the Tsarnaevs he made what is likely to go down as one of the greatest snafus in US intelligence history. He lost his cool, and with it, has put the spotlight on the entire CIA-sponsored Islamic Jihadist operations run through Fetullah Gülen across Turkey into Central Asia and Russia and China."

Washington's Double Life? Iraqis Accuse US of Being in Cahoots With Daesh

    15:06 03.12.2015
    (updated 15:07 03.12.2015)

Suspicion that the US is collaborating with Daesh (also known as ISIL/The Islamic State), instead of fighting the military group, is spreading among Iraqis, primarily due to the country's minimalist approach toward the crisis.

To Americans, accusations that the US government is helping Daesh may seem ludicrous. However, many Iraqi fighters and civilians claim they have seen evidence of collusion between the US and the notorious terrorist group citing, for instance, videos allegedly showing US helicopters airdropping weapons to the militants, The Washington Post reported.

The idea that the US is supporting Daesh is being persistently promoted via social media and voiced in parliament by Shiite politicians in Iraq, US military officials claim. In one popular video, recently released on a Shiite militia group's Facebook page, a lawmaker with the country's biggest militia group, the Badr Organization, waves seemingly new US military MREs (meals ready to eat), allegedly found at a recently seized Daesh base in Baiji, saying it is proof that the US supports terrorists. The US military's Baghdad-based spokesman Colonel Steve Warren said the charges are "beyond ridiculous."

Quote "The Iranians and the Iranian-backed Shiite militias are really pushing this line of propaganda, that the United States is supporting ISIL," he said. "There's clearly no one in the West who buys it, but unfortunately, this is something that a segment of the Iraqi population believes."
Many accuse the US of "creating" the antagonist so that it could fight to restore its damaged image in the region, while others assume America wants to assert its control over Iraq and throughout the Middle East in order to control oil supplies. These ideas are triggered by the ubiquitous belief that US should be doing more in the Middle East. This confusion of outcomes with intentions has resulted in the popularization of conspiracy theories.

Quote "The reason is that the Americans aren't doing the job people expect them to do," said Mustafa Alani, director of the Dubai-based Gulf Research Center. "Mosul was lost and the Americans did nothing. Syria was lost and the Americans did nothing. Paris is attacked and the Americans aren't doing much. So people believe this is a deliberate policy. They can't believe the American leadership fails to understand the developments in the region, and so the only other explanation is that this is part of a conspiracy."
According to Warren, The US military reported near-daily strikes in support of the offensive to recapture Baiji and continues to respond to requests for strikes in the vicinity on a regular basis. However, the fighters there claim there were no strikes by the Americans at all and that the only air support they received was from the Iraqi air force.

Naseer Nouri, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense who himself thinks the allegations are groundless, said America is "so slow", it doesn't surprise him that some Iraqis think they are supporting Daesh.

Quote "We don't believe the Americans support Daesh," He said. "But it is true that most people are saying they do, and they are right to believe that the Americans should be doing much more than they are."

Western Media Calls Russia 'Hostile' for Outing Turkey's Dirty Oil Secret

On Wednesday, the Russian Defense Ministry held a briefing detailing the Turkish government's involvement in the trade of Daesh (ISIL) oil. However, instead of starting their own investigations, many Western media outlets have instead attacked Russia for presenting the evidence, suggesting the revelations were 'hostile' and 'confrontational'.

At Wednesday's Defense Ministry briefing in Moscow, Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov presented Russian intelligence materials, including photographs, satellite imagery, and detailed maps outlining exactly how "industrial quantities" of oil from Daesh-controlled territories in Syria and Iraq find their way into Turkey, and then on to third countries. Undoubtedly the most sensational moment in the briefing was Antonov's statement that Turkey's top political leadership, including President Erdogan and his family, are directly involved in the trade of dirty oil.

In the course of his briefing, the deputy defense minister preempted the skeptics by recommending that journalists use the Defense Ministry's findings to continue their own investigations into the shady affair, adding that Turkey should allow journalists "access to the places we showed journalists today."

Despite independent analysts saying that the briefing's disclosures were an "important first step," which will hopefully be followed up with the release of further evidence and an investigation by the UN Security Council, much of the Western media, unfortunately, seems to want to see the fruits of the Russian investigation die on the vine.

The reaction of The Washington Post and The New York Times, amounting to a rehashing of an article by The Associated Press, blamed "Russia's top military brass" for "sharply raising the stakes in Moscow's spat with Ankara" through their "bluntly-worded accusations" against the Turkish president.

Deputy Defense Minister Antonov, AP continued, "didn't provide any specific evidence to back up the claims of personal involvement of Erdogan and his family in the oil trade with the IS." Moreover, the Turkish president, the article recalled, had already vowed to resign if Moscow's accusations were proven to be true.

The AP piece cited a spokesman from the US State Department, who "categorically rejected Russia's allegations" (naturally, before really even having a chance to look at them). "We never said oil smuggling from ISIL is not a problem," the spokesman said, but "there is no Turkish government complicity in some operation to buy illegal oil from ISIL. We just don't believe that to be true in any way, shape or form." For its part, Bloomberg also quickly took to Erdogan's defense, suggesting that the investigation was a sign that Russia was "intensifying its attacks on Turkey," and citing the commentary of a Turkish defense attache who had attended the briefing, who said that "he had expected a military briefing, rather than 'political accusations'."

Foreign Policy went a step further, trotting out a Harvard expert on Russian energy geopolitics who suggested that the allegations were really just a sign that "Putin's regime, [first] with Ukraine and now Syria, has greatly revamped Russian nationalism."

Other US outlets, including USA Today and Voice of America, focused on Washington's response to the Russian briefing, citing the reactions of the White House, the State Department, and US military commanders, who rushed to defend their allies in Ankara. Col. Steve Warren, anti-ISIL coalition spokesman in Baghdad, emphasized that "the Turks" were actually "great partners" in fighting Daesh.

Across the pond, in the UK, media reaction was generally more of the same. The Guardian headlined their article "Russia Steps Up Hostility Against Turkey With War Room Briefing," sarcastically suggesting that the briefing indicated that "Turkey may have replaced the US as Russia's rhetorical enemy No 1," again instead of focusing on the actual evidence. The BBC, for its part, also made clear to stick up for the UK's NATO allies, with their article on the briefing headlined "Turkey's Erdogan Says Russia IS Oil Trade Claims are 'Slander'."

The Financial Times again went a step further, suggesting that the revelations are really just another component of the anti-Turkish propaganda which has emerged in the Russian media following the downing of the Russian Su-24. The business newspaper cited the commentary of Ukrainian Interior Ministry advisor Anton Gerashchenko, who suggested that the Russian media's anti-Erdogan campaign was reminiscent of the anti-Kiev campaign it had carried out earlier.

Incidentally, the newspaper forgot to mention that Gerashchenko, a rather smarmy figure in his own right, had earlier called on Ukrainian social media users to publically disclose any information they had on the Russian pilots operating in Syria, in order that terrorists might locate the servicemen and their families and take revenge.

In an interesting contrast to their American and British colleagues, major French and German media outlets seemed less eager to line up behind their Turkish allies. France 24 and Germany's Bild reported on the Russian briefing skeptically, but fairly, saying more evidence was needed.

For its part, Deutsche Welle went so far as to suggest, in its German-language piece, that while additional evidence in Russia's accusation toward the Turkish president "is still pending, one thing is certain: ISIL oil is reaching Turkish territory."

The truth emerged Tuesday during a panel hearing for al-Shamiri’s release, according
to The Guardian. It had been previously alleged that al-Shamiri, 37, was a high-level
Al-Qaeda courier and trainer. It turns out now he is actually a low-level foot soldier –
contrary to what his profile says, published by the Department of Defense.

The profile also says that al-Shamiri accused fought in Bosnia in 1995, Yemen’s civil war
In 1996 (to which he allegedly admitted) and in the Afghan Taliban’s ranks in 2000-2001.
He was allegedly captured in Mazar-e-Sharif, in north Afghanistan, and has since been in
    detention at Guantanamo.’

Russian ambassador shuts down Tories, Turkey AND Labour rebels in single tweet

    Published time: 3 Dec, 2015 16:38

Russia’s ambassador to the UK has tweeted a takedown of the Tories and Turkey while simultaneously showing support for anti-war Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn – not bad for 140 characters.

Alexander Yakovenko tweeted Corbyn after the Labour leader asked Prime Minister David Cameron about who buys oil from Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL).
    Quote
    Alexander Yakovenko Verified account ‏@Amb_Yakovenko

.@jeremycorbyn Sending you by courier Russian data you requested yesterday in Parliament on who benefits from ISIL oil trade
Corbyn asked the question during Parliament’s marathon 10-hour debate on Wednesday night over whether to extend British airstrikes against IS from Iraq into Syria.

The period before Corbyn’s twitter handle means the tweet was intended to appear on the feeds of all Yakovenko’s followers, not merely those who follow both Yakovenko and Corbyn.

In just 140 characters, the Russian ambassador hit three birds with one tweet.

He professed his support for Corbyn – who opposed extending airstrikes into Syria – while simultaneously taking a dig at the Tories for supporting the war and Turkey for allegedly buying oil from IS and downing a Russian fighter jet.

The Twitter-savvy ambassador also tweeted this take down of Britain’s strategy in Syria.

Stirring speeches from both father and son. Hillary calls the Isis/isil facists
and technical they are backed by right wing fascist elements in Saudi ,Turkey,
Israel , US and elsewhere and I think his father Tony will be looking on
angrily from beyond at the 'stupid boy' his son has become.Note Jeremy
Corbyn sitting close to both. Of course they must be stopped but the best
way is thru the UN, which would work if backed by both the US and Russia.

The 'allies' must try to save face and now ' The Brits are coming ' what possibly
    can go wrong !!

Tony Benn v Hilary Benn on war votes

Father and son, Tony and Hilary Benn have given two of the most
impassioned speeches on the issue of whether to vote for military action.

In 1998 Tony Benn argued against the bombing of Iraq, while this week
his son Hilary Benn argued in favour bombing Syria.

Both speeches were widely praised - and both men, coincidentally, had
current Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn sitting by them in the Commons
    as they were delivered.

" stupid Boy " has a certain context in british comedy ....

I knew a lot of what is going on and all these political cycles happen
as history constantly repeats itself. Before the web I watched
many of these type of docs , as it seems each generation faces
this one way or another , but what we question who actually
controls these 'hawks & puppets ' that pop up over and over again.

The BBC and others did some excellent docs , in this one they
talk about 'The project for the new American century' and the
agenda to invade countries they saw as 'The Axis of Evil'.

Now we know that 9/11 was created for the catalyst of these
plans and policy. If only the mainstream could connect all the
dots. The trouble is the press and media including the BBC
has been compromised more and more and they have been
bought up by the corporate world. Of course there are many
other aspects involved , and there are altruistic and genuine
people caught up in these events, and that's when we ask
the questions why are we always in these low level mind sets.
Then you get into other alternate theories about entities etc.

But this documentary openly exposes that the neo -con
are predominantly Jewish and working hand to hand with
Benjamin Netanyahu, and say most of the neo -cons are pro
Israel and the aim was to destroy the totalitarian regimes in
the middle east. Except the most totalitarian Saudi Arabia.
This is obviously a goal of Israel , to balkanise its neighbours.

I am collating some documentaries on various related subjects
that are the basis of the theories express in alternate debates.

I think under the nuremberg principles the british government is criminal:

Quote the nuremberg principles (of international law)
    principle i
"any person who commits an act which constitutes a crime under international law is responsible therefore and liable to punishment."
    principle ii
"the fact that internal law does not impose a penalty for an act which constitutes a crime under international law does not relieve the person who committed the act from responsibility under international law."
    principle iii
"the fact that a person who committed an act which constitutes a crime under international law acted as head of state or responsible government official does not relieve him from responsibility under international law."
    principle iv
"the fact that a person acted pursuant to order of his government or of a superior does not relieve him from responsibility under international law, provided a moral choice was in fact possible to him".
This principle could be paraphrased as follows: "it is not an acceptable excuse to say 'i was just following my superior's orders'".
Previous to the time of the nuremberg trials, this excuse was known in common parlance as "superior orders". After the prominent, high profile event of the nuremberg trials, that excuse is now referred to by many as the "nuremberg defense". In recent times, a third term, "lawful orders" has become common parlance for some people. All three terms are in use today, and they all have slightly different nuances of meaning, depending on the context in which they are used.
Nuremberg principle iv is legally supported by the jurisprudence found in certain articles in the universal declaration of human rights which deal indirectly with conscientious objection. It is also supported by the principles found in paragraph 171 of the handbook on procedures and criteria for determining refugee status which was issued by the office of the united nations high commissioner for refugees (unhcr). Those principles deal with the conditions under which conscientious objectors can apply for refugee status in another country if they face persecution in their own country for refusing to participate in an illegal war.
    principle v
"any person charged with a crime under international law has the right to a fair trial on the facts and law."
    principle vi
"the crimes hereinafter set out are punishable as crimes under international law:
    (a) crimes against peace:
    (i) planning, preparation, initiation or waging of a war of aggression or a war in violation of international treaties, agreements or assurances;
(ii) participation in a common plan or conspiracy for the accomplishment of any of the acts mentioned under (i).
    (b) war crimes:
Violations of the laws or customs of war which include, but are not limited to, murder, ill-treatment or deportation to slave labor or for any other purpose of civilian population of or in occupied territory; murder or ill-treatment of prisoners of war or persons on the seas, killing of hostages, plunder of public or private property, wanton destruction of cities, towns, or villages, or devastation not justified by military necessity.
    (c) crimes against humanity:
Murder, extermination, enslavement, deportation and other inhumane acts done against any civilian population, or persecutions on political, racial, or religious grounds, when such acts are done or such persecutions are carried on in execution of or in connection with any crime against peace or any war crime."

    principle vii
"complicity in the commission of a crime against peace, a war crime, or a crime against humanity as set forth in principle vi is a crime under international law."

Lebanese Politician: Turkey Main Sponsor of Terrorists in Syria

    Fri Dec 04, 2015 6:7

TEHRAN (FNA)- The fight against international terrorism should start with pressuring Turkey, now the main sponsor for militants groups in Syria, leader of the Lebanese orthodox party Masarik Roderick Khoury said.

"Turkey is the first and main power which funds and supplies weapons to terrorist groups. We believe the fight against terrorism should begin with pressuring Turkey. Now Turkey is the main sponsor of terrorism in the region," Khoury said at a press conference in Moscow, Sputnik reported.

“The name of the real leader of the terrorists is Tayyip Erdogan (Turkish President). The others like Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (ISIL leader) and al-Qaeda are just his servants. Al-Nusra Front also carries out orders from Turkey," he pointed out.

According to him, there is real evidence to the allegations. Khoury said that after the city of Kassab, near Lattakia, was liberated from terrorists Turkish ambulance vehicles, clothes and weapons were found there.

Khoury added that when the terrorists take Syrian or Lebanese hostages they only can be released after negotiations with Turkey.

Hunt On For Tayyeep Bin Ardogan Over Fighter Shoot-Down And Bosphorus Blockade

Posted by b on December 3, 2015 at 03:26 PM

Today the Russian President Putin gave his yearly address to the Russian Federal Assembly. In the context of terrorism and the shooting down of the Russian fighter in Syria he addressed some very harsh words to the Turkish President Erdogan:
Quote [T]he Turkish people are kind, hardworking and talented. We have many good and reliable friends in Turkey. Allow me to emphasise that they should know that we do not equate them with the certain part of the current ruling establishment that is directly responsible for the deaths of our servicemen in Syria. We will never forget their collusion with terrorists. We have always deemed betrayal the worst and most shameful thing to do, and that will never change. I would like them to remember this – those in Turkey who shot our pilots in the back, those hypocrites who tried to justify their actions and cover up for terrorists.

I don’t even understand why they did it. Any issues they might have had, any problems, any disagreements we knew nothing about could have been settled in a different way. Plus, we were ready to cooperate with Turkey on all the most sensitive issues it had; we were willing to go further, where its allies refused to go. Allah only knows, I suppose, why they did it. And probably, Allah has decided to punish the ruling clique in Turkey by taking their mind and reason.

But, if they expected a nervous or hysterical reaction from us, if they wanted to see us become a danger to ourselves as much as to the world, they won’t get it. They won’t get any response meant for show or even for immediate political gain. They won’t get it.

Our actions will always be guided primarily by responsibility – to ourselves, to our country, to our people. We are not going to rattle the sabre. But, if someone thinks they can commit a heinous war crime, kill our people and get away with it, suffering nothing but a ban on tomato imports, or a few restrictions in construction or other industries, they’re delusional. We’ll remind them of what they did, more than once. They’ll regret it. We know what to do.
That was strong stuff from someone who usually stays very cool. These were not even threats but direct declarations that Russia will take revenge and will follow through.

What are "all the most sensitive issues" Turkey had and on which Russia was ready to cooperate? What has enraged Putin so much to declare Erdogan out of "mind and reason"? Was it only the ambush of the fighter plane? Or was there another, deeper provocation?

At the end of last week there were some rumors that Russian ships crossing the Bosphorus between the Mediterranean and the Black Sea were unreasonably delayed. Someone claimed that Turkey was holding them up but the issue soon vanished again. I filed that under "false rumor" but I was wrong. It apparently happened:
Quote Turkey is creating obstacles for Russian ships without technically violating the right of free passage through the Turkish Straits, the online newspaper Vzglyad reports. According to an online vessel tracking system, Russian ships moved in zigzags and circles on Nov. 29, waiting for hours for permission to enter the Bosphorus.

For instance, the Bratsk waited for permission from 10.00 to 19.00, and the Volgobalt from 3.00 to 17.00. However, as stated by the Ukrainian Center for Transport Policies, vessels belonging to the other countries passed through the straits without a delay on that day.

The Haberler.com news website reports that the transport ship Yauza was met by a Turkish submarine as it was passing through the Dardanelles on the morning of Nov. 30.

The Istanbul media reported the same day that at least two Turkish submarines were located in the vicinity of the Moskva missile cruiser (covering the Khmeimim Russian airbase in Syria).
Back in September Pat Lang posted this at his site:
Quote [T]he Russians seem intent on reinforcing the Syrian government and the US is doing all it can to prevent this. The US has pressured governments seeking a denial of diplomatic overflight clearances for Russian cargo aircraft en route to Syria. It has also sought some means with which to deny Russian vessels passage through the Bosporus and Dardanelles.
It seems that Obama administration had developed the idea to delay Russian ships without directly violating the Montreux Cenvention that covers free passage through the strait. Erdogan used the trick last week to put additional pressure on Russia. But there was nothing in the wider news about this standoff.

So did this really happen and how was this resolved? Joanne Leon asked that question today and two answers from knowledgeable people were offered:
    Quote Elijah J. Magnier ‏@EjmAlrai
Turkey mentioned it and sent 2 submarines. Russia said "Turkey can't do it" and sent 2 submarines hunters
    and
    Quote Dr Shahid @DR_SHAHID
    Yup.
    Russia Threatened To Nuke Ankara.
    Problem Solved.
Hmm ... I am not sure we know if the issue was really resolved with a nuclear threat or by some lesser means. But as no further ships were reported delayed the crisis seems to be over and Russia got its way.

To delay Russian ships by military means is rude behavior by Erdogan just short of openly declaring war. This and the fact that he ordered to ambush and shoot down a Russian jet likely incited Putin to use really harsh words today. Had Erdogan apologized and blamed some minions for the fighter jet shoot down the episode would have been forgotten by now.

But Erdogan escalated. Putin will now not rest until he has kicked that wannabe Sultan off his throne. My bet is that he will be more resourceful in his endeavor than Erdogan.

This for example is exceptional good trolling. Who arranged for this very intelligent hoax to appear in various U.S. media last night?

    Pass the popcorn, please.

Russia Surprised by US 'Blindness' to Trucks Delivering Daesh Oil to Turkey

    Middle East17:30 05.12.2015
    (updated 18:44 05.12.2015)

    © Photo: Russian Defence Ministry

The Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday that it was surprised by the "blindness" of US authorities in regard to photo evidence showing trucks delivering Daesh oil to Turkey.

"Finally, our colleagues from the [US] State Department and the Pentagon confirmed that photo evidence we had presented at a briefing (showing the routes of oil smuggling from terrorist-controlled areas) is authentic. However, their claims that they 'do not see the border crossings with tank trucks that cross the border', cause a smile, at least because the photo is a static image," Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said.

"When US officials claim that they do not see oil smuggled by terrorists to Turkey, it looks like an outright patronage rather than slyness," Konashenkov added.

Earlier, a US Department of State official told journalists that the Russian Defense Ministry photos showing hundreds of trucks with Daesh oil are authentic. He noted, however, that "what I have not seen is imagery of the border crossing with trucks crossing the border, and that's because I don't believe that exists." On Wednesday, the Russian Defense Ministry provided satellite images showing Daesh transporting up to 200,000 barrels of oil in at least 1,722 trucks to third-party countries, most notably Turkey on the northern border. Pentagon rejected Russia’s evidence of Turkey’s involvement in oil deals with Daesh militants.

Pentagon has all reconnaissance means necessary to record oil smuggling from the territories controlled by Daesh to Turkey, ministry's spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

"If even this is not enough for our American colleagues, we advise to watch video from their drones, the number of which, by the way, recently tripled over the Syrian-Turkish border and the oil-bearing regions, controlled by terrorists."

The recent statements made by US officials concerning the developments in Syria are based on double standards and remind of "theater of the absurd," Konashenkov said.

"In general, the recent statements by representatives of the Pentagon and the [US] State Department remind of 'theater of the absurd,' based on double standards and the wordplay," Konashenkov said at a press briefing.

"First they see something, then they don't. They divide the opposition into moderate and non-moderate. Even terrorists, in their view, are bad or very bad," he added.

The US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter stated earlier that over the last month the US aviation has been destroying only profitable terrorist facilities.

The Russian Defense Ministry spokesman commened on this statement saying that:

Quote "Can the statement be treated as [admitting] the Americans have been eliminating only unprofitable terrorist objects for a year and a half?"

Moret & Battis: US DEW downed Russian Metrojet 9268 over Sinai. False flag like MH370 & MH17

VANCOUVER, BC – In a NewsInsideOut.com interview with Alfred Lambremont Webre, independent scientist Leuren Moret, MA, PhD ABD and military historian Laurens Battis demonstrate how Russian Metrojet flight 9268 was shot down by a U.S. directed energy weapon (DEW) over the Sinai desert. Russian Vladimir Putin and Russian military authorities know this and are using Western disinformation that “there was a bomb aboard the plane” to facilitate formation of the anti-ISIS coalition in Syria. Thus the downing of Russian Metrojet 9268, like that of MH370 and MH17 was a false flag by the United States.
