Ulli. I don't want to read too much into the man in the wheelchair. It could be humorous or a sign that you are under a whole trainload of stress.

    How are YOU?

Getting ready to go out to lunch. 26 years of marriage. Not too bad.
The train crash was staged, remember, and there was no crash.
Just a reminder that for every accident there are dozens of near accidents.
Which means we are safer than we think.

My eyes say it’s not a wheel chair. Depending on the level of perception, I saw the graphic as:
    • You’re missing out on the good stuff along the way.
    • It’s a freshen-the-air funny.
    • It’s a metaphor of how we choose to go through life. The end happens when it happens, so don’t sweat the small stuff. Stops wasting precious energy with worry about worry.
    • I am reminded that it’s just a ride. (A choice between fear and love.)

Happy 26th Anniversary to you and Mr. Ulli. Enjoy your lunch.

    For 1inmany,

Regarding asthma, I think.Paula is onto something..

I suffered mightily as a youth. It was awful. I used my inhaler constantly. And lost it constantly too. I never so much as wheezed until I was about 12. And then, one day, im walking home from school on a beautiful spring day and....bam, my life changed forever. I couldnt breathe. It was as if the universe had closed its eyes and picked at random....'and-you-are-it...' it was that sudden and that inexplicable.

As I moved into adulthood I sought alternative methods of.dealing with it...but nothing replaced my ubiquitous inhaler. Its the only time ive ever really failed at healing myself thru food or supplements.

Over time ive become convinced that its origins are spiritual and emotional in nature. I know thats very vague and not too helpful, but im near certain your answer exists somewhere in this space.

Running Dear, I love the options as to what it's about.

    1inmany,

I've had a lot of personal experience with treating asthma, as my wife had it. Whenever you have lung issues you have large intestine issues as well. No processed flour, better yet no bread at all...All major organs have their energetic, interconnected pair, as with the Lungs and the Large Intestines.....
Smothered emotions, sometimes are the emotional block (Louise Haye says as ma, asthma, smother mother influence, which can be interpreted in a couple of ways) ....
Express. Whenever you need to be heard, don't hesititate.

There is a lot more, including trigger points that heal and prevent....environmental issues that can be identified and dealt with.

One point I must make about healing is the power of intent. It is the most important part of the process of serving those and yourself in the process.

Gotta make this quick as I've got work to do... and will share more later....

I was so used to massaging my wife, friends, and others that whatever gifts I've been given and developed over many lives... take a backseat to this...

I was tired after 9 hrs. of work and 3 hours of commuting...
Always massaged her after I got home. This time I was so tired that I had her sit up from the bed and simply put my hand near her lower back. W.out touching her, about 3 inches away i set my energy with hers and her back cracked immediately. She relaxed, laid back on the bed and fell asleep.
The intention of healing and the effort beyond being very tired did it all.
When we set the intention of clearing anything we may think about as the healer, really the facilitator, the healing becomes more focused. Though I am known amongst friends for this gift, the fact is that anyone can clear themselves of excess thought to do it, as well or better than me.

    More later if you ask.

    Blessings

Mike and Hey it's me, thank you both very much!

My mom had asthma for most of her life. I remember her inhaler, she always had one with her. And there were times Emergency Room visits were necessary. She had such severe asthma attacks, we could hear her wheezing from across the room. It was awful. I had that wheezing type of asthma briefly when my parents divorced. The attacks were brought on by odd things...I remember being at an indoor public swimming pool once and the chlorine and moist heat sent me into one. Anyway, I outgrew it.

One of my daughters had asthma as a child and outgrew it in her teens also. But it was not wheezing asthma at all. It was what they called night time asthma. A dry, persistent cough, and only when she laid down. I think the doctors put her on Singular, a pill that prevented her cough. Though she also carried an inhaler.

I, however, am blessed with both types currently. Before the doctor put me on Advair twice a day, I had a dry persistent cough. No wheezing. And when some stressful events happened in my life not too long ago, I began to have the wheezing type of asthma attacks. I tried several things before I resorted to big pharma, as I swore I would never poison my body again that way (right up to the moment I thought I was going to die because I couldn't get any air). The dry persistent cough is gone because of the medicine, so I can breathe deeply again. And I do also have an inhaler, but I usually don't need it.

First of all, I should quit smoking. I have cut down to half what I used to smoke, but to tell you the truth it hasn't done a single thing one way or the other. I haven't heard of cutting bread out of the diet, though that is probably as likely to happen as me quitting smoking altogether. At the moment, I do not see that happening, but we will see. I wasn't sure I'd be able to even cut down, and that has happened.

Secondly, there were some things that happened over the summer that point to it either being spiritual or emotional or both. I stumbled onto something one day during meditation that was completely unexpected. Something(s) happened when I was very young, at the hands of man/men. Let's leave it at that. And throw in the stress of two moves, recent divorce, some very good decisions and some very poor decisions, and voila. Asthma. Add to that, I started having full blown panic attacks, which also set off the wheezing. Funny, there must be a disconnect between my brain and my body because I am actually not thinking about anything specific when this comes on.

What I cannot understand is a need for me to express more emotion. I thought I had expressed everything. My early research pointed to suppressed emotion, and I just can't figure that one out. Still looking into that. As far as intent goes...I have heard that before. I haven't seen evidence of it myself, but I tried it with everything I had and didn't see improvement.

Please, consider yourself asked for whatever ya got. If this gets to taking up too much Here and Now, we can always move this to PM.

I appreciate you both taking the time to help.

    Much Love,

    Much Love,
Just in case, 1inMany... and I don't believe it's needed, but I'll sleep better if I make this post.

My earlier comment about freshing-the-air funny was intended because of "that" thread. It's not an accident when Ulli brings in chuckles to lighten the mood. Case in point, this second one, the night-night tumbler.

    Night-night, sweet dreams,

    Hey there 1inmany,

You've got a lot there. I'll do my best to get to each area, but the situation mirrors the ones I experienced with a loved one.

First of all, all illnesses are spiritual. All are emotional. The end result is an illness showing up.

We, also, can get to a spiritual healing thru taking very good care of ourselves, but we often think that we have to define the resolution of a chronic illness by some preset solution. The reality runs the gamut of possibilities and I suggest EXPECTING HEALTH is as important as defining a solution.

Allow yourself the spontaneity of success.

    Unthink differently.

You have many answers in your life already and you have done the correct things by using modern health care when needed. Even if you can cure yourself by natural methods, nutritional, spiritual, physical, emotional, personal, environmental, and they all count.....the standby of modern care should always be an option at hand.

Your meditative recollection of abuse is healing in itself. It's up to you how deep that needs to go. I always tell women that your only real right, if We and You really love you, is to get ahead. For your children. For those you will counsel. For your Mate.

There are many solutions to address, confront and stop abusers but this is only about You and Your Inherent Right to live a life free of things you did not agree to. Those who pin what happened to you on some karma, some past sin, some pre-natal lost agreement don't know spiritual contract law. Some guess or repeat what they've heard and those who know better are just lying. You are not part of that. Your right to a life free of pain, pain that you did not in full awareness choose, comes with your birth here in this beautiful, nurturing space.

    In my experience:

I AM NOT A DOCTOR. All of those things I share are experience only. I do, from my experiences and those of many, many who have shared their sickness and healing stories with me, respect some in the natural health care fields, , tcm practitioners, osteopaths, naturopaths, massage therapists, etc.. I also appreciate a rare few in the allopathic traditions, regular doctors. Both should be consulted as YOU choose. However, the world is full of many lives saved and many pains and illnesses removed by those who have followed the anecdotal experiences of those who have found relief.

Here's some of my experience. See if they are of help for you:

When we cut out all white, refined flour products she got better. We switched to whole grain and it tasted better. She got better. When she drank water 4 or more times a day she didn't get ill. Eating more high fiber, low starch vegetables, especially greens, added the necessary enzymes, phyto-nutrients and trace minerals to aid her entire digestive system.

(Change what you eat and you change the way you feel good, more often, more relaxed, more energized, more satisfied. Always find a tastier solution to any nutritional changes or additions.)

When she was regular she rarely had breathing problems. Constipation and lung problems are connected by restriction.
On an emotional level, the inability to let go and relieve yourself of worry and unresolved issues constricts the desire to take life in and breathe deeply, the new life that awaits at every moment.

    In our experience:

If there was a propellant in the inhaler, that caused a problem. She switched to an inhaler without additives. She experienced fewer side effects. If there was a prescription with steroids, there to build up the musculature related to many internal aspects involved with breathing, it made her jumpy and nervous, so she refused them. We fought thru to find solutions. It always got better, but the journey was one that required some time to make progress.

I remember that scary last time when my wife was so short of breath her lips turned purple. At the Urgent Care that last time we were lucky that a stand-in physician attended her and told us something startling. He had used Albuterol in a nebulizer and wondered how often she had used hers. She was never given the prescription, nor advised to buy a nebulizer. He was a bit angry that we had to spend $400 each time we had come there and weren't given that prescription. We bought a nebulizer and she never had to go back. It must be noted that this was at the end of our only 2 week stay at her mother's house. The connection is there to see.

    Intention is Practice

Intention is in, should be in, every particle, every bit of thought we have when we are serving others. Removing thought then replaces any need to focus on technique. The energy finds it's own paths and depths. Really having an effect on healing is found by doing it over and over again. I can't find the words to express it without those overused phrases that have been muddled by dishonest use.

For me, I have an almost constant magnetic feeling in my hands and any place I focus the energy, but it all is as natural as touch itself. There are simple exercises that I use to amplify it. These exercises are easy to teach and then see others feel the energy in a short, quick amount of time. Put those hands, with your intention to feel what they feel, on or near the skin and it happens. You will be healing yourself in the process.
(Hmmm.....I should find the avenue to do this more. We live in an isolated area so I haven't had as much connection with facilitating hands-on healing with people as I much as I would have liked. Having a mate kept me active and seeing, feeling the immediate success of healing. I scolded myself before for over-honoring the space of others until a friend asked me to treat his wife, not coincidentally of her asthma attack. I did so, but insisted he learn while we did this. It's a good enough reason to stay here...)

Thank You, 1inmany, the One in All...

Re breathlessness, I've learned of two things that helped when I've had difficulties breathing (not diagnosed, just experienced):

    1. Buteyko Breathing technique. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LGxLv2WuwY (One of many vids re BB)

    2. Inhaling 3% hydrogen peroxide/water via a nasal mist sprayer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aT1_Rkl0B1M

Thank You, Genevieve. I'll watch the video w.Patrick McKeown soon.

    1inmany,

    Reading Labels....

I do remember that one has to be careful about any additives in some alcohols, like sulfites in wine, which can cause allergic reactions. Read labels, then don't trust that they are listing all ingredients. I don't drink, or waste time doing any other damage to myself-legally or not, but I certainly understand the condition and the healthy habit many people have of living in moderation.
(I consider the entirety of the earth as living under the influence anyway, so why confuse the journey.)

    Gmo's.......

Also gmo's fed to milk producing cows, and the pesticides that are used on that feed, cause many adverse reactions. I switched to organic milk a few years ago, as a 40+ yr.lacto-vegetarian, when I was getting stomach aches from drinking milk.

I emailed the two local, large companies, one being Sprouts, asking if they used gmo's in the feed for their cows. They both said they did and both reps gave back an almost identical answer saying that the Dept. of Agriculture and the FDA said that gmo's were safe. Wrong guy to say that to. I sent both reps links to studies proving the dangers of gmo's.

    Blood-Sugar Balance......

Another consideration is blood-sugar balance. A glycemic index chart could be a great benefit for anyone. As of this date many researchers are considering listing alzheimers as type 3 diabetes because of the strong correlation between blood sugar imbalance and other forms of diabetes, relative to cognitive impairment and aging. In my life, a lack of emotional nourishment leads to craving sweetness in our drinks, our foods.

On this, diet drinks, and anything that contains aspartame, asulflame, etc. contain excitoTOXINS. They are in many, many products in the industrialized world. Excitotoxins pass the blood-brain barrier and create a response that is pure chemical addiction.
They are sugar carriers that burden the liver into storing fat. This burden is so close to the effect of how alcohol stresses the liver that a liver stressed as a reaction to sugar or environmental toxins is labeled non-alcohol steatosis, an unnatural density in the liver, with the possibility of creating fibrosis, which may lead to cancer, whose primary symptoms, after pain in the area of the liver, are digestive, gastro-intestinal problems.

The connection to addictive food products and alcohol is direct and planned. The industries fuel each other and feed off of creating illness in their customer base.

    Be Well My Friend,
    h.i.m.

1inmany, Here's a little about smoking. I feel you about trying to stop. It looks like you're on your way. Please remove any guilt you have for the habit, as it doesn't usually help. I have had friends who have stopped by using electronic cigarettes and slowly decreasing the level of nicotine. They also have avoided the el.cig. devices that contained too many additives. Many success stories here.

My son's mother, who had asthma for a long while, also smoked, less as the years went on. To her credit never smoked inside for all of the years I knew her. We could track her health getting better by the reduction in smoking over the years.

I was born with an addiction to nicotine but didn't know until I was 3. When an older sister started smoking in her early teens I instantly had a jones for a puff. After asking her for a month, she finally gave in and insisted that I take a long, deep drag. I was born with a great deal of breath control, so I did just that. I took that huge drag and went out, waking up in another room. It cured me in about an hour.

I can see that my lack of judgementalism and empathy stems from the experiences of addiction at a pre-natal level. (Of my mother's many kids she gave me that special care for "making her feel nervous" around the 120th day of pregnancy, until birth. Not the best way to adapt, but I understand why.) If such a powerful chemical can affect a child that many years later I understand the difficulty in removing it and moving on with the rest of your life.

    Hi Hello it's me!

Just arrived home from some week off from the forum. Read you posts with interest. I'm treating Lyme and Babesia with herbs and homeopathy. Got infected 1:st time 5 years ago and Babesia in September. In what way would you say these illnesses are emotional/spiritual? In one way I think the ticks are trying to "tell me something" but the illness stems from real bacteria and viruses right. Nevertheless I have met many interesting alternative practitioners and learned a lot about Lyme and coinfections as well as diet and other health related issues.

    Thankyou

    Hi transiten!

I know very little about Lyme's, but the chances are high that it was a bio-strain let loose by the usg. Would you please tell me more, as I live in the southwestern states and we have little or none of the pathogen here showing up as lyme's.
I will also look up Babesia. Have you read Hulda Clark's books on the removal of parasites? She connects parasites to cancers, among many other things.

What do you think is the connection and how it plays in your life?

Since neither of us is a doctor let's explore this and see what we learn. It will be interesting.

    Thanks,

ASTROLOGICAL "HEADS UP" FOR THIS COMING WEEKEND

This just in from Carl Boudreau (semi-retired long-time astrologer). I quote below from this link:
    https://www.facebook.com/notes/carl-...08410543449610

In the tabulation just below, I have omitted the positive aspects intentionally because I wanted to emphasize just how negative this weekend’s aspects are, cumulatively.

Sat. 9:37p (New York Time) - Moon occults, or eclipses, Mars in Libra.
Sat. 10:28p - Moon in Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn.
Sun. 3:37a - Moon opposes Uranus.
Sun. 3:47p - Mars squares Pluto.
Thurs. 8:30p - Mars opposes Uranus.

This weekends ‘flurry’ of negative aspects, considered collectively, dramatically increases the odds of negative occurrences and the prevalence of bad attitudes.
    ...
This weekend could get rough. People could simply be feeling grumpy and more inclined to snap or confront others. Hostility will likely peak. Or violence prone individuals could feel inspired to act out. The astrological backdrop does not, however, support the idea that these aspects could trigger a global outbreak of violence.
    ...
Recently, though, I have been concerned about the increasing levels of violence. The aspects really have changed for the better and, from a strictly astrological perspective, it’s not as easy to account for the violence as it was during the last major cycle.

I intend to spend more time in coming months trying to understand why, despite the reduced frequency of major negative aspects, violent incidents continue to occur with disturbing frequency.

Dear Meggins: The violence is not the result of astrology, but of a high level plot to remove the people's right to bear arms so that they will be unable to resist GENOCIDE.
