I had recall this morning of an incident when I was about 8 years old. Two boys lived next door were a couple of years older than my sister and I. They tricked us into going into the cellar and threatened that we’d be locked up until we pulled our pants down. I looked around and saw a window that I could help my younger sister climb out and go around and unlock the door.

The important recall is that I remembered sending a thought message to her about my plan while the boys were there. This is revealing because it validates feelings, behaviors and memories I’d pick up on growing up. Also, how sending and hearing thought messages was a normal part of life to me.

Quote I didn't know that about the French sabot, Transiten, thanks. The Moroccans use sebat for any type of shoe. I think they met somewhere, not the shoes, I mean.
there is also Savatte n French, an in between from sabot to sebat. Sabot beging the wooden shoe, sebat any shoe in Morocco, while savatte is the relax flat shoe with open heel.

Sabotage from sabot, thanks Transiten, I did not know this either, and with savatte "un coup de savatte" hit with a shoe. I thought the term "savatte" was from the Middle East originally but I may be wrong.

Then there is soulier, which is literally a shoe.

The familiar French word for shoe is “godasse”, which sounds in English like the author of Paula’s chemtrails…

Talking of footwear, often for some reason I retire to bed with an itchy foot. I have learnt to rub in a little balm rather than scratch it all night till it bleeds. I don’t know if there’s any connection, but I often wake up with an itchy brain. This morning for some reason I was scratching my head over the judgment of Solomon. You know the story: two women fighting over a baby. The king makes a 50/50 ruling; one woman accepts half a dead baby rather than no live one. The real mother prefers a Schrodinger’s baby: dead to her yet alive to the world. She loses her appeal to hand over the baby; it is rescued from Schrodinger’s box fully alive and restored to her.

What do I take from this story? That even the maternal itch is like an itchy foot: you can scratch it till it bleeds, or you can rub in a little balm, i.e. love your baby. The confrontation of the two reactions is what leads to the best of three possible outcomes: the baby is not killed, nor is it adopted by another woman, it is returned to its mother. You wouldn’t get there without a bit of scratching first.

This is a good example of how Hegelian dialectics are effective. We have heard all too much of the cabal’s parody of it: if I hear David Icke’s problem-reaction-solution one more time I think I’ll scream (peace Cidersomerset ). A problem per se is at least twofold: a fork in the path (alternatives); and a solution is reached by weighing up the pros and cons of each, rubbing and scratching them together. Hardly rocket science, but still an effective tool. So we can’t let the pros spoil it with their cons.

Beautiful rainbow of color, Ulli. I’m relearning how to sit in a rocking chair in the sun without technology, music nor a book. There’s no rainbow of color out my window. It’s mostly monochromatic brown-grays. I watch the horses nibble on shades of lawn-green. I’m grateful for no salt-sandy-whites. It’s been in the range of 50-60 F/10-18 C.

Oh goody, a chance to use my graphic:

Silence is a self-check to make sure I’m the only one in there.

I do Tai Chi and go for walks to music. (not when I'm in the forest)

My family use to joke back in the 80’s. They’d say, “What is she into now?” They never understood it’s all the same just different ways of doing it. They don’t go poke-poke anymore. I’d like to think it’s because they're beginning to understand. It’s probably because I less and less let those comments slide. I’ve finally learned that sometimes taking the high road isn’t the answer.

    On Introverts:

I love Mondays. Everyone’s back at work. I make the trip down and around into the creepy cellar, hunched over dodging the old cobwebs that hang down with bits of fiberglass in them to do my laundry.

    Clean sheets today. Yippee!

    This is great.
I won't have to make name tags for the plants in our botanical garden
As by the time we open every plant lover will have one of these installed on their phone.
An app that identifies plants when you take their picture.

    PlantNet

An App called PlantNet, a project initiated in 2009 provides a platform and tools to make it easier to share information about plants. The app is basically an image search engine to help one identify plants and flowers by just taking a picture with your smart phone.

Images are collected through PlantNet and users help identify what plants are what through a rating system and can add additional information to help support the network.

Their newest project, IdentiPlante, will allow people to use the database to quickly receive data about the plant they have taken a picture of. At the moment there’s no specific focus on edible flowers but it could certainly be used in the future to help create a specific database of wild herbs and plants.
