This same video was posted on Youtube on Sep 18, 2013. Since the lake was probably not frozen at that time, it probably dates from the winter of 2012-13 or before. The poster writes in the comments that the location is 40.315469, -111.765608, which is in Utah Lake, near Vineyard, Utah. This is a fresh water lake, although somewhat saline, that is a tributary to the Great Salt Lake, and is the second biggest lake in the state.
