Life truly is a highway, along with roads, streets and even byways. There is no GPS, and the signs are not always there, but we have our trusted compass to lead the way. Sometimes our paths may cross, or even merge for a while, but each path is separated by a median. We can see the other side but we can never travel it for ourselves. We may offer asphalt or cement to fill potholes in other roads but we cannot make the repairs ourselves. We can mend our own road; however, we must first have the tools, materials, and knowledge to do so. Not to mention the willingness in the first place. Sometimes we can get what's needed on our own, other times it may be provided for us, but it is ultimately our road and we must mend it ourselves. No matter how damaged the road can always be mended, but it is our choice whether to mend it or leave it as it stands.
