    I voted "other"...
Change looks in our hands but it is not. The decision for change is been taken by the Unified field, conciousness or God.. Called as you wish, what we can do is accelerate the change..."may take a week, may take longer" (Jim Morrison) and for that matter all the rest of the actions are valid, specially meditation and just being kind to everyone (humans, animals, vegetables, minerals.... Even things) people is going to change no aparent reason. We'll get the next scenario: an increased in the amplitud of conciousness plus free energy.... This is unstopable.
    So much love to all...
    Disclamer: this is my opinion.

Tho internet is the best tool we have today to push the truth out and make people aware, I think the first step starts with education. Not sending your kids to the education system could be a start. Growing up a new generation is a tool and a key to fight the system.

Thanks Meggings. Worth a look. What are your views on how to effect change?
Since you ask, I believe it is to be the Christ in manifestation here and now, in these bodies we wear, on this earth.

To get there, one cares for the physical vehicle to the best of one's ability, avoiding toxins in water and food and air.
One feeds one's attention with the best food one can find, which to me are things that speak of higher truths.

It is rather like this quote: "...whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

There is a lovely little story I read once about Jacob and the spotted calves in the Old Testament that deeply struck me as a child. The only wages that Jacob asked for from his years of service was to have all the spotted calves and goats. Thus he put spotted and streaked sticks in the gutters before the eyes of the cattle and goats when they conceived, and these animals brought forth spotted and streaked offspring - which became the wages Jacob had asked for.

The meaning of this is that what we gaze upon, is what we give birth to.

That is why its important that we should be discussing to young people what we been discussing here on Avalon. Last night 9 of the grade tens spent the night in our house supposedly to do some school project. I enjoyed the laughter and shouting but what really made my day is when I overheard them discussing that the Illuminati is a demonic cult. Surprise surprise.

I voted meditation, but I do believe in other very simple and practical methods that aren't in the poll list.

I'll post back to this thread to introduce - re-introduce my thoughts on the importance of meditations and how it can potentially be effective to create positive change. https://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...l=1#post982277

The great thing with meditation is anyone can do it. Nothing too special required, just application and consistency.

This is a good reminder, I need to follow up in that thread ... now is almost the right time to do so, thanks for the trigger OP!

tuning or raising your vibes whichever way that accomplish it. I found out that when my vibes is good I also make the right decisions and was lead to correct directions. To others it may come with meditation for me simply going to nature does the trick also taking time out many times each day to remind myself to slow down to have no fear to show love humility and other good virtues. Inhale..... Exhale. "the breath is the key". Change in the collective is a result of changes of individuals that makes up the collective.

A very interesting poll, but frustrating as well. It's difficult to select any one method as being the best strategy as they all obviously have value, and to make positive change happen requires a concerted effort using many different tactics, and spreading as much info as possible everywhere is definitely key to world-change.
But that's my assessment at an intellectual level, so in the end I had to choose meditation. It's a bit generalized, but I think that raising our own consciousness (which I believe provides the map for every individual's unique and personal journey into multi-dimensional consciousness and ultimate freedom through Love) and expressing love perhaps does more to impulse other people into greater awareness than anything else.

That's so true, and it's what I tried (and hopefully at least partly managed) to do for my 3 beautiful children. I had the pleasure of watching them become very aware and wise (many times a lot wiser than me) and also awaken many of their wonderful friends over the years into new understandings about life and it's meanings. Sometimes it seems like a long road here on Earth, but every single person who is touched in this way and is ready continues awakening and will usually go on to benefit others. It's spiritual multi-level marketing, the only sort that works! And the truth is so very important, even if it's not nice. Teaching how to discriminate between truth and lies is a good skill to pass on.

    How about...

Slowly adding telepathy genes into humans so that over a period of decades or generations:
=> lying is always visible to (at least some % of) other people.
=> good intentions are visible to other people
    => criminals are always caught
=> psychopaths stick out like a sore thumb

I think that would make the world a better place.

However, i'm not suggesting we hybridize
    humans with other alien races.

    be happy

Default Re: Which practical method do you think is most likely to bring positive change to the world?

Chosen option: Put people out of the state of cognitive dissonance.

    My illustration about this point:

Once upon a time everybody was relatively happy and things seems pretty okay. Then there where some wars and people did really matter. But they reminded themselves, well it's far away and I can't really do anything about it. In the best situation they found that they could sent some money via a charity. Because they felt really sorry for all those people. Slowly things where going worse and more wars started to happen. Also there where more stories about climate change and pollution. Well they thought to themselves: I can do some things in order to save energy and consume a little bit less: I can buy this car and I can buy these stuff, they say it's ecologically safe! In this way they could just live their life the way they did AND do something about this climate change. Jeej!!

Then something really bad happened: A terrorist attack! It was all over the news and people where really shocked. The images where very graphic and people really got scared. So what they did is they raised their voice. The government has to get these bad guys. They are threatening our freedom and safety. Look what they did to these innocent people! And so the government went after these bad guys and people felt protected. So they could go on with their lives again and that is what they wished most in the end.

And if new elections came out, they would sincerely follow the newest update and make a very considered vote. They where very honest people and they wanted the best for their country, just like the government does. So they could go back to their old life, just go on the way they did before. Everybody was happy again.

Eventually there is a big economic crisis. People were very shocked! But luckily the government is very smart and worked out a perfect plan in order to save us. We have to pay more taxes and some jobs have to go, but we have a lot of fate that everything will be fine in a couple of years. So they where happy again and they could go on with their lives again.

And this just goes on and on. Ooooon and on. You know, really deep down everybody just wants to be happy and go on with their life again. They don’t want to face the truth and THEY DON’T WANT TO ACT. They really, really don’t. In fact most people will put their head in the sand until they die.

And everybody just want a life of peace and prosperity. Everybody wants to trust the people around them and have faith. Everybody wants a good life, a healthy earth, happy animals and a good future. The thing is.. the world we live in today is not this place. And a lot of people just don’t WANT to handle that. They don’t want to feel miserable. They don’t want to look at reality because it is just too damn awful.

What I think could be a solution to wake other people up? Well I think waking up other people is one of the most hard things there can be done. First one has to wake up himself, which is a very painful process. One has to look to the world and look into the awful world of deception, manipulation, psychopaths, alien agendas, etc.

And one has to be careful to not fall in a trap. Because there are a lot of insidious traps down the way.

THEN, when someone is relatively awake, he feels split between two worlds. His own view against the view of the masses. Those views can be so different that we are almost talking about two different worlds here!

And then, this guy, feeling deeply with the pain and suffering on this planet. Will start to tell other people about the things he learned. He will start to tell people about the psychopaths, about the banksters, about possible alien manipulation and all other subjects he came across. He will tell them about possible free energy, about how to properly eat, how to realise your goals, about spirituality, meditation and all other relevant things.

And the people feel very akward around him. People will ridicule him. They will call him names. They will fight him or just ignore him. They will look for all sorts of ways in order to get him down.

And still, I believe this is the only possibility. Because this guy will eventually find people who will find an inner resonance with this. And they will start the same process. And you know, we as a collective have to face our problems. We have to get to the root of our issues. Because there can be no solution if the problems are not faced. First you have to have a clear understanding of the problem and from there the solluction can arise.

There is no way out. We have to realign with reality in order to save this planet.

To focus more on being creatively focused, as opposed to being 'observationally focused'. Keep the 'observation mode' active, yet focus more actively on 'forward-thinking' ideas and actions. Or, in other words, focus more on becoming the 'master' of our own minds, so that we will be less of a 'subject' to them. Whenever we 'engage' in creatively centered activities... like creative writing, yoga, speaking, 'playing', dancing, gardening, starting new projects... etc. ...It is those kinds of activities that serve to activate us into 'taking back control' of our own minds, which should automatically reduce any 'conditioned brainwashing' of limiting ideas we've been programmed with by a corrupted society. We need to be more 'active', and less 'stagnant' in our own thinking... more 'energized' and less 'deflated'.

Meditation/chanting/singing/musical instruments are also excellent mind-focusing tools, too.

I just saw a book in a thrift shop today titled something like, "The History of Dancing In the Streets".... Now that's an idea, "dancing in the streets". ...'Skip-stepping' ourselves forward into new ways of thinking/being.

    Happy 'Stepping'...
