Well, it's happened. A man used an RFID microchip implanted in his hand to pass through airport security and the media reporters see nothing at all strange about it. Hallelujah, they proclaimed! No boarding pass was required for Andreas Sjöström, who becomes the first person to use new microchip technology to breeze through an airport. Since we don't normally feel anything at all here, due to the proximity to the river this one might have been quite strong.

i am sitting at the diningroom table, I am suppose to be studying, but instead I'm reading threads from Project Avalon. If I look out the window I can see my 5 year old play outside and see beautiful farm fields. I can also hear the noise of the water truck filling our tanks with water. Its very hot and the drought is really taking its toll in South Africa. The smell of washing powder is hanging in the air. I feel a sense of peace, calmness. How else when one lives in paradise?

My brother has been staying with us. Over dinner we enjoyed a little light conversation about the nature of time. And the existence, or rather non existence, of this moment. The Now. According to him, Now is the biggest lie. Time does not stop, therefore there can be no Now. He makes my brain hurt, haha. As I start to recount my Here and Now, I realize it is already There and Then. Sheesh.

Apparently there is a black nonphysical creature in the back woods. It does not, either will not or can not - I am not sure which, cross the boundary into this yard. Interesting.

On a brighter note, I have been enjoying warm fires in the fireplace. When I add homemade soup to the evening, I can't help but think of everyone here.
