The Perfect Matrix

We all here have thought about "the matrix" we live in but seeing how we are being able to construct a "perfect" matrix to play with is really interesting and mind blowing:

If we are in a place where we don't die and have unlimited resources, and superpowers... can we consider it a matrix? Would it be cool to live in a place where basically all the rules of the world (or our world if you know how to behave) could be controlled by you?

We say the internet is something the power thirsty bastards allowed by error but seeing this technology we could probably say they knew exactly what they were doing.
