    Default UFOlogy and Steven Greer

    Dr. Steven Greer

A really fascinating individual on the UFOlogy front.

I’m really just observing and taking in his knowledge to date without any hard conclusions. The high level communications with top officials and access to the crate of (here-to-fore) top secret documents positions him as a very important subject.

He is speaking openly about very controversial, highly sensitive subjects.

If all is legitimate, and there is a crate of documentation, then to most he will be seen as a gatekeeper of secret knowledge. And with each lecture, the potential that more insight may be revealed.

Some personal perspective: He and a few others in UFOlogy may represent a shift in research. He is after all a surgeon who found a path that amazingly provided him invited access to high valued domestic and global dignitaries where he was provided personal discussion. This has been unheard of UFOlogy.

Is there now a mandate to release information? Truth (whatever that is)? Is it authentic or controlled with a desired outcome?

There is undoubtedly subtext of his message of being a ‘chosen one’, a trusted individual to tell the people. But why him? Why not so many other highly seasoned respected researchers? Perhaps his following, personality or his profound successes associated with CSETI groups. It may also be that he is not representative of what some may see as a stereotypical UFO ‘guy’.

An open mind is necessary, but I’ll proceed with caution.

I'm on the same fence. Just trying to get my head around how amazing it is that he became the go-to guy for such high profile people? And by the way he doesn't really acknowledge this curiosity we all have in his talks. Kind of the elephant in the room. You spoke to who? You were an advisor to who? Jaw dropping people: John Podesta, United Nations Secretary General, Javier Perez de Cuellar, Crown Prince of Lichtenstein, Hans-Adam?

As incredible as it sounds however, it isn't the reason to discredit him, as doing so sets an unfair restriction of credibility for anyone claiming high level connections, so I can't go there so easily.

Steven Greer has been privy to some pretty classified information. From what I can see, there are several that are real, and there may be some in there, to throw a wrench into it, so to speak, dis-information to cause confusion. Greer needs to look more closely at his informants.
The only thing I personally have against the man, is that he claims much of this information as his own, or perhaps he forgets who told him what, and gets it mixed up? But at any rate, it's not a very nice thing to do to another human being. Anyone who knows me, knows I'm speaking of Barry King, who gave Mr. Greer much of his information from research back in the late 70's and early 80s to current. But, just so you know.... Barry is not the only one who Mr. Greer has done this to. There was a forum, with all the witnesses Mr. Greer had used as such, many of them dissatisfied with the way he had treated them.
But as far as the information given him, I think much was accurate. If there was a time stamp, on when he got who's information and when, you see other informants come in later, and give information that seems in opposition, the later ones would be ones that I would be highly suspicious of as being disinformation. But I don't think Mr. Greer has anything time stamped, and by whom, it was received. Was just a thought about something that may have helped sort it out.

    A fair assessment I'd say.

There is some give and take. But overall I'm fascinated at the content of his lectures and the information he delivers. Just wish he would consider the common person's curiosity and scrutiny of his special status as a key informer. He seems to accept the idea that everyone listening to his information must be accepting it without question. Not recalling if there is ever Q&A after his talks? Have to go back and look.

For the record: Greer has made three, steadfast, clear public statements that are flat-out false. I would actually call them lies. From that, it's legitimate to question why he is saying these things.
    1. There are no ETs who aren't benevolent.
    2. The US Government has no current contact with any ET race.
    3. All abductions are US military operations, and are not ET-related.

I could not answer if he ever had a Q&A after. If I recall correctly, he had a lecture in the UK maybe 7 or 8 yrs ago, but his price to attend was outrageous. Something like $1500 UK. He was suppose to be able to get a UFO to come show itself to the group.
Personally, I would rather get my information from the informant themselves. That way I know who to direct my questions to. I doubt Mr. Greer could answer any more than what he was told.

    ¤=[Post Update]=¤

Bill, thank you. I couldn't agree with you more. I had forgotten that he had done a 180 turn of what he researched back years ago. (I think now it may have been closer to 10 yrs ago, than 7 or 8. Darker Realms Forum was up then.)

    Also for the record.

I have personally met Steven Greer at a CE-5 meeting in Massachusetts. Small setting 50 people, the organizers invited him to come. He did not get into any speeches like we see on youtube, he was down to earth and personable.

We sat in a circle, introduced ourselves and then meditated for hardly any time at all when "the golden ship" flew over the tree tops about half a mile up (I swear on my soul) and then flew further down into the valley and fell out of sight and the foreground eventually became a mountain. This was so close and jaw-dropingly crazy, that someone in the group asked if we should SEND SOMEBODY to meet the ship? What a laugh. This happened while it was still light out about 6:00 PM EST in August of 2013.

Steven told us no one should follow it and it was definitely gone by now and we should continue with the mediation. While some people where VERY excited about their first encounter we rallied together in the circle on the owners' (host) property this took place on and they both gave some opening prayers. I felt very connected and relaxed, there was lots of tangible love in the air.

We then 'sent' this energy upward and that is when several craft, I think about 5 or 6 that night over a 3 hour period would fly over us and emit a HUGE bright white light, just for a second at us, as if a football stadium light had just been turned on, almost like a mini explosion! Steven said that that was the ET winking at us.

I am on this forum everyday and read everything. There is a lot of talk about steven greer and what his deal is and even after just shaking his hand I don't really think he is on track in his speeches, but that CE-5 meeting I continued to go to and continued to get blown away by these crafts for about 2 seasons. It is real, they are here.

Are they all benevolent like Greer proposes? I don't think so.

I have had multiple personal ET contacts NOT visitations thank god, and between those and what I experience at a CE-5 meetings ( I can do it myself now, recently in Brattleboro, VT) I can certainly vouch from the center of my soul that there is a highly benevolent ET force that is right here to help us and transition through these ridiculously shameful times. They cannot interfere through prime directive but there are other ways.

Anyway, I cannot vouch for greer, but for those who truly want to see whats up there you can find a CE-5 meeting near you, if you look hard enough, I highly suggest to anyone on the forum.

    Cheers,

Wonder what the purpose of them doing the fly by would be? And if Alien, which ones, could they have been US secret space?

I would never have the money that Greer had asked for a meeting of such, that he had asked back then. I think it was less here in the states, but just travel expenses would be difficult.

I have seen the ones that have flown over my house here. And one landed in the farm field next to our farm, but nothing I purposely called to.

I have also had a friend that was abducted. She remembered what they showed her, and some of what they did to her. So I have no doubts that there are malevolent aliens out there. As well as malevolent gov. and lab organization too. Some working together. Is reason why I'm not so sure I'd want to call ship to fly by, if I'm not sure who's in it. lol As I told another person one time who thought it would be great to take pics. You can have my camera, I'm going the opposite direction! lol

As a a past abductee/contactee who has conducted independent research with over forty other abductees, I can thoroughly confirm 1, 2 and 3 above. Total lies. There is such a massive quantity of books, videos, etc of reports by abductees that that certain ETs are indeed not benevolent--but sometimes even engage in torture of Earth humans (including babies)--that any genuine, unbiased researcher would never utter such blatant propaganda.

Unfortunately, Greer's insistence that all ETs are benevolent casts a very dark cloud of doubt on any other assertions he may make. He has discredited himself with his own lips to the point that he appears more like a propaganda tool for the secretive military/alien conspiracy.

    Great information NeedleThreader.

I'm curious as to how you arrive at this conclusion? Not judging, but this idea sounds like it could only have come from information transfer of some sort. Or was it a feeling or hunch?

We've had lots of discussion about Greer over the years, as the archives will attest.
It was difficult for me to understand how someone who started out with something as great as the Disclosure Project could evolve into someone who made such unwarranted claims, such as those about the non-existence of negative ETs; who had clearly alienated most of the people who were working closely with him; and who has appeared progressively more arrogant and boastful in so many personal appearances, videos, etc. over time.
I could only conclude that he has been interfered with, and knowing how skillful TBTW have become at messing with people, especially those under pressure with high profiles, I don't think that explanation is really all that unlikely.

    ¤=[Post Update]=¤

With respect, I have known very skillful dowsers who are great at finding things, but when it comes to finding the truth about any given matter via dowsing, I have found that those individuals can be just as vulnerable to wishful thinking and self-deception as anyone else, sometimes even more so.

I had great hopes of Mr Greer, his early work with his unprecedented Washington Press Club Disclosure event was simply brilliant - and unprecedented! and all of the witness interviews he carried out on so many highly credible people amassed a very strong body of materials which to this day can be used to initiate skeptics into the real sphere of awareness concerning ET presence on Earth. From there however he seems to have become rather strange, his associations with high-level intelligence and government entities -that 'Sirius' film was a bit lame. I do not know what to make of the man these days. As Bill rightly points out he has made claims that cannot be supported by serious investigators into this matter.

Thats why stated mixed bag...but in all honesty Greer was the only person that had information on what was being witnessed in Oregon. Im speaking of the beginning of my sightings. But then my own personal observations went beyond what Greer had shared in his videos, even though his personal testimony was more. He did not show video proof of what he was saying. In my observations I reached out to Greer but he never responded back. I helped Dr Nolan make contact with him and he was a big part of Greers movie. Dr Nolan visited me in Oregon and thanked me for the Greer contact but I felt like Greer never reached out to me. I dont hold that over him but I think he was on to initial contact but somehow the ETs passed him by on the deeper stuff therefore his video proofs were very lacking. Thats just a personal opinion but I still credit him for helping in his early videos making contact and what I was initially observing.

I don't find Steven to be very speculative, I find he is precise about his information gathering and focused on not getting very relayed information. The collection of disclosure interviews he has done is very profound considering the clearance level of those coming front. He has also had much contact with people in power and might know much more than he is able to reveil in order to protect his sources. And he has been the driving force of the disclosure movement to a point well beyond what anyone else has done so far, except that Steven Bassett is going in his foot steps. And he has some fantastic video evidence and a great network of contacts. All in all I would say that he is the leading expert behind Disclosure.

I don't think it is fair to judge Steven based on some particular thoughts he has shared, because he has taken action to a degree well beyond what most have which he deserves credit for way beyond the discredit of those particular comments/thoughts in those particular incidents. The credit should be dealt according to the amount of risk and self sacrifice done for the truth and in that regard Steven has showed that he ranks high up on that chart.

I think that within ufology some enthusiasts might not like his attitude towards ufology, because he can be rather critical about stories presented to him, but that is because he has great integrity, which is yet another quality required to be what he is.

    Great great person, authentic too!!

I still cant make a decision on Mr Greer and i wish he could say a few words in his own defense. I think the video with Bill and Kerry just seems like he takes a defensive stance right from the beginning.... which makes me unsure of him. And i believe this fell in Bill and Kerrys lap and they went with it hence there transparent honesty. I would like to know the outcome of this discussion.I know how Bill feels but the question I dont get is whats in it for Mr Greer.

Information transfer through visitation dreams mostly. I have had several near death (psychical) accidents that I should not have survived. Because when I ask for proof they show me.

This isn't a topic one cannot draw a conclusion from by reading any literature, or reading a forum, or a dowsing rod.

Believe me guys, look for a CE-5 group in your area and you will not be disappointed.

I signed up for a week at shasta of a group of his of about 50 people back in maybe 09. Like quite a few others I couldn't last the entire week and left after three days. I am not terribly good at sensing energy, good or bad, but his was not good. Simple as that. Why is it not good? Was he somehow manipulated? Possibly. Regardless, it just ain't good energy there, at all......
