Then there's the guys that came screemin back across the river tellin Moses, WE WERE AS GRASHOPPERS in their sight!!! I always wondered what they were smoking! Grashoppeers? Really!?

And THEN!!! Ol Enoch defined it a bit further. He said: "There were Giants in the land as high as 3,000 EL's!!!" Wow!!! 3,000??? Oh wait... what's an EL?

A cubit and a span! From the elbow to the tip of the middle finger is a cubit. The span is the distance across the palm. My EL is 21 inches. I have a cousin whose EL is 24.

If we just call it 22, it would come out to 5500 feet. Or one mile and 220 feet.

That's what I mean! If 11 feet is within "normal tall" range for any humans and so I would suggest they are not giants, rather they are very tall humans- as an adult person 3 ft in height is a very small person. Next to an 11ft human I would feel very smallish, but, the 3,000 ells guy, now THAT'S a giant! Grasshoppers is a brilliant comparison because the thing you do to grasshoppers (hopefully by mistake) is tread on them!

I'll go for over 12 feet tall for giants! 8 feet is not so rare in some human society.

BUT I have just wondered if Giants are actually humans?
