Default Trump, politics and professional wrestling

I don't know what to think of Donald Trump. I neither like him nor dislike him for I only know his public image. And I suppose in a healthy world he would not even be considered in a discussion for President of the USA. However, this Country and its political reality is far from healthy. All this being said, somehow Im really thrilled he is in this election cycle if only for the unknown chaos he can potentially deliver to a broken system.

As a kid,my brother and I often watched professional wrestling when my grandparents were watching us. I remember Bruno Sammartino, the Russian Ivan Koloff , a giant from Japan called Baba the Giant, Killer Kowalski , the Sheik from the middle east and so on. As I look back I imagine that these were a group of athletes that at one time probably had an authentic interest in true wrestling. However true wrestling would never pay the bills and only appeals to a small audience.
So these guys joined up to be professionals and play their part in a grand illusion.
I remember resisting my grandparents as they were telling my brother and I that this was all fake ,scripted and a bunch of B .S. We were quite distressed.

Vince McMann the head of the WWF saw the genius in the phony. Just script it, give the players a costume and a “good vs evil “ title to divide the audience , control the result and give the people what they want. They want a winner that represents their world view and makes them feel good about themselves. And it doesn't rally matter if its real or not.

This business model in my opinion is most like our political system today. Following the disaster of the Bush administration, I voted for Barak Obama ,the most hopeful antidote to this disaster. My excitement and optimism in his campaign promises was shared by many. A return to transparent government, a stop to the business of endless wars, a stop to the Orwellian spying policies and a repairing our standing in the world that once was. He was the good wrestler vs the bad one. So what happened? Seems I was had.

So this time around as everyone around me is buying into the election cycle, I'm not the same guy once steamed up over this candidate or that, this party or that .
I now see it thru the genius lens of pro wrestling.
Pro wrestling is fake, scripted and designed for the best outcome of its own business. And somehow people don't mind. This is proven by it's amazing success with fans who still show up to sold out shows regardless of knowing how fake it all is.

Realizing what I know today regarding the secret government that people like Eisenhower, JFK , Senator Daniel Inouye and many others warned us of , the professional wrestling model is the best analogy I can make to the sickness of our present political reality. Fake is simply the new real.

So my participation and “Patriotism"today is now centered in my own best daily actions with my own voice and skills, hands on and shared with others. I also try to support and share the knowledge and writings of our best visionaries, activists, whistleblowers and independent researchers we have. Truth needs to be the new real again.

Trump and McMahon are buddies, they even did a wrestling "skit" together:

I realize Trump is controversial, and I never really liked the guy, but I love what he's doing. Say what you will, but he's brought more transparency to the nomination process than any candidate I can remember. Let's see him do the same in the White House.

I believe there is plenty of support for Trump, but you don't hear about it, since most journalist covering this campaign will be voting for Hillary.

The narrative of him being a clown and unworthy comes from a liberal bias of not wanting to see Obama's creeping socialism being undone.

    My take here.
When in doubt, do the next right thing.

I'll be voting for Gary Johnson or Austin Petersen if I bother to vote but I honestly have no clue what to expect from Trump though I doubt it will be good. As Scott Horton says, when a politician makes a bad promise, you know he will keep it. Hilary to me is just another Clintonote, Bush, Obama.

The nice thing is I think Trump has destroyed establishment Republicans

I don't like Trump in the least, but it's about time to go find me some Hillary is a War Criminal t-shirts. Following the reasoning of the OP, I'd say it's a fair bet (ask Chester/Sam) that if elected, Trump may prove to be far worse for this country than she could be, following the pattern of how much better Obama appeared than McCain in '08.

Those of us who grew up or spent any good amount of time in NYC know Trump..he's as dirty as any politician..but he's entertaining. I can't figure out if the whole campaign is an "oke-doke" meant to ensure Hillary wins the white house, or if he's for real..IF he's for real, he beats Hillary in a landslide. If it's all a show, he'll amp up his buffoonery to a place where Hillary is the only logical choice.

6 months untill november, we'll know by july/august if Trump really wants to win.

Trump is seen as the antidote to the status quo. Were he to actually become president he would quickly find himself against the huge corporate behemoth that always gets its way. He couldn't possibly make a difference. No one can, I fear. The changes must come from grass-roots types, small towns and communities, even states, standing up to the federal giant. Change doesn't come from the top down, unless its change for the worse.

The sad thing about Trump is his language and what that language could translate into. Everything he says is about how everybody else are wimps/losers/cowards that did very little and how he is going to be this grand deal maker that nobody will mess with. So that means he says things like "I am the most militaristic guy ... I will re-build our military so strong... When you go to war you need to do so properly...". Look it up on Alex Jones show. He says this kind of stuff and what he means is that he means it. This kind of playing on the political arena does not scale. If all leaders suddenly decide to upgrade their toughness like this against everybody else, then it means the world turns into more of what it already is, it's a loss for peace. On the upside is that the other candidates are unclear in other ways and that Trump does not appear foreign to taking new courses. With a Christian perspective I think there is a potential for a more peaceful version of Trump, but it has to become clear, and it is not clear. Under the right circumstances it could turn out great, under the wrong circumstances it could turn out very bad. Hence there is great polarity, which these days seems to translate into "popularity". What I hope if he gets elected is that some of the "bold talk" was politically motivated rather than "real talk" so to speak and that if he becomes president he sets out a peaceful strategy. When so, good things can and will happen.

I don't think anyone knows how to evaluate Trump. This is a bonus in my opinion. I have seen enough election cycles come and go since that day I saw JFK put away and that was a strong message to hold over successive presidents I believe. Trumps value is that we cannot evaluate him, what he will do or say or even trip across in this process.
I have this great imagining that he will comment on the scam of 9/11 with building 7 as the most obvious point for the unaware. And just one person in his position that would mention something like this to the millions of unaware could cause the damn to break .
If he is a player in the wrestling scenario I mentioned , and just taking a role, well enjoy any little area you can carve out for yourself in this life , because if that is true, they are too smart for most of us.

There is good reason to be disillusioned with the whole political system, but I have one lingering hope, and that is that there is still enough energy (though probably most of it coming from younger generations, at this point) to generate something of a grass roots revolution which can still affect change, if it continues and builds.
Bernie Sanders' supporters are manifesting that kind of energy and if it isn't crushed, it may help to create a tipping point, where TPTB will really have to start making concessions to the demands of the people.
However locked down the system may appear to be and fully able to keep us enslaved, the positive energy created in such revolutionary movements is the opposite of Loosh, and weakens the controllers, causing havoc in their ranks and making it easier to see where their weak points are.
It was clear to me, back in the 60s and 70s when I witnessed or was part of protests, that when protesters gave in to anger, fear, desire for vengeance, chaos, etc., nothing was accomplished.
That kind of energy creates Loosh, and feeds the enemy.
Peaceful, loving, enthusiastic protests that are fueled by love of life, faith in mankind and unity have the opposite affect.
It's that which can create the way to true change for the good.
It's not Bernie who is responsible for that though he is an inspiration and a reminder of what kind of power that energy can create--he was there; he was part of it in the 60s and 70s and he obviously hasn't forgotten, which is pretty remarkable after having been in politics for so long.
I'm surprised that more Avalonians don't seem to be seeing there might be a path there that can help the people take back the power that has been usurped.

As a person I like Bernie and Im happy he is giving the young some hope and getting them out there. but I have seen it all and feel if he got in, he would be co opted into the system and congress would prevent most of his ideas. i also do not think higher taxes on anyone is the answer. Taxes should be lowered for all. I actually believe that in a sane world a flat tax of maybe 10 percent across the board would be a great idea but it will never happen. Tax cheats and off shoring should be stopped and a bloated war driving military needs to be stopped above all.

Bernie is just a sign that something is happening, he's not the answer.
It's not a question of whether he wins or not.
No matter who wins, the point is whether the momentum of belief in the possibility of positive change continues.
There is no quick fix that I can see.
I think it's a question of working for the best outcome in each situation that people can, step by step, inch by inch, in whatever way calls to each individual.
Improvement may not be immediate or obvious, but reform happens when there is enough momentum built up until the resistance to it can no longer withstand it.
    Where there's a will, there's a way.
