Default Ant Infestation and the Innocence of Children.

We have had an Ant Infestation in our Kitchen on Anglesey North Wales, something that happens here every year. I tried every Ant powder you can think of, but the little critters found an alternative route to the Sugar.

We went for Advice as to what is the best product to get rid of them, and I think I have found a Belter of a product which is very cheap. Hopefully the Video will explain, I did swear once in the filming, unaware that Soffi was behind me. then she started watching the Ants with me, going back and forth from the product to the nest taking poison back to the Queen. Listen to what Soffi (Sophie) in Welsh, pronounced exactly the same, listen to her innocence, I thought it was beautiful.

    Hope you enjoy.

    Kev

Different things work for different types of ants. Some will run from borax power. Mix a little in with honey. They eat it, take it back to the hive, and get sick/die. The signal goes out to stay away from that kitchen. Coffee works for some ants. Aspartame powder works for some (they are smarter than us! )

There is an ant spray sold a Lowe's (USA). It's a natural biological product and works vastly better than the chemical varieties. I used it to successfully turn out ALL ants in my kitchen, after years of experimenting.

Bore da Kev!--- You need ant sand!

A product of Australia, the land of omnipresent insects, this stuff is brilliant. It stops the outside ants from coming inside! We have epic ant infestations here and this is a brilliant answer. It is in a shaker canister and looks like...SAND! There is, I suppose, something toxic also, but by the time someone suggested it to me I was so fed up with the invasions I'd have used anything. The stuff is sprinkled everywhere the ants go and they hate it. They are often looking for water rather than sugar and they dislike the dry sand so you put it where the ants are coming in. Being sand it goes into all the little cracks and crevices, and even into the nest sometimes. Then they go away!

I always feel very sorry for them when I poison or kill them--- but sometimes we have a moving black tide of insects on the kitchen bench! Yuk!

I use clove oil. It works as a brilliant deterrent. I just dab it on strategic points, entrances and exit points. It isn't toxic to any being and everyone is then happy

Plus, if you get so mad at the ants that you grind your teeth, the clove oil will stop the pain. Really good for oral health.

Ha! Ha! conk! Clove oil does work--- but it's messy, like Ant Rid. It has a nice smell though.

    PS. Diolch Kev!
