How about the Waco massacre wherein 76 people were horribly murdered including two pregnant women and 20 children burned alive by the US "government"?

What I'm surprised by, is that Florida is a "concealed carry" state, and that there was not a small group of armed employees or whatnot, at the club itself. For instance, kitchen staff or DJ's, office people, and so on, with immediate access. A club of any nature..in a concealed carry state... makes such thinking and planning a norm, prudent, and I daresay... obvious.

It could be PULSE club policy to not allow any weapons what-so-ever. Not for employees, not for guests.. Makes no sense considering..

JUST emphasizing - this guy was a LICENSED BACKGROUND CHECKED INDIVIDUAL - this is not a matter of some guy buying an assault weapon at some gun show.. This guy was a security agent, registered legally to be a weapons holder, (and user).

A COP was at the club and did exchange gunfire with the assaulter - unknown if the officer was on-duty or off-duty, (0202 am local), but the hostage standoff resulted in a 3 hour wait time before S.W.A.T. broke in to kill Mateen.

Mateen was on the FBI radar.. But what is not clear is was he on the radar because the company that he worked for GUARDS major US government buildings.

Are we seeing a "sleeper" who had a button pressed? Democrats are calling for more gun controls however the point here is, this GUY was a legal authorized security agent, allowed to buy, carry, and use weapons.

If it isn't a "gun control issue", maybe it is more of a "sleeper" who was triggered into acting prematurely? (i.e. programming, trance induction, etc.)

Just in 911 call received, originated (allegedly) by the shooter, Mateen, was that he called 911 and claimed allegiance to I.S.I.S, for his attack.

Audio has not been released, yet, part of the on-going investigation. Discussion is "on-going" was /did he (was he sleeper), acting on behalf of I.S.I.S. or was he acting independently, having prematurely started shooting.

I think that the quick response of the police to the shooting (70 police cars), is what gives in the idea that this whole act was orcastraded by the government. For what reasons? Possibly anything that the government gets something from it... If it's gun control then that's one point if it's hatred against Islam then it's another point, you name it but no doubt that another massecar in Orlando will not sild like a random shooting.

Backstory

"Orlando Police Chief John Mina said the attack began at 02:00 (06:00 GMT) and a police officer on duty at the club exchanged gunfire with the gunman. The attacker then entered the club and a "hostage situation" unfolded, he said.

Chief Mina said a decision was taken at 05:00 to send a police assault team into the club after receiving texts and phone calls from some of the hostages. "Our SWAT officers exchanged gunfire with the suspect, the suspect is dead," he said. "He appeared to be carrying an assault-type rifle and a handgun, and had some type of device on him."

An FBI spokesman said they were investigating whether the attacker was a "lone wolf". He said the attacker appeared to "have leanings towards" radical Islamist ideology but it was not yet clear whether this was a case of domestic or international terrorism.

At least 20 bodies have been found in the club itself, and some 42 people have been taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries, Chief Mina said. A clubber earlier described a situation of chaos outside as the number of casualties became apparent.

"There were just bodies everywhere," Christopher Hansen said. "In the parking lot, they were tagging them - red, yellow - so they knew who to help first and who not help first. Pants down, shirts cut off, they had to find the bullets. Just blood everywhere." Some of the injured were reportedly brought to the Orlando Regional Medical Center in police pick-ups.

More than 100 people were reported to have been enjoying the end of a Latin-themed night in the club, which calls itself the hottest gay bar in the city, when the attack began. "We heard rapid fire go off. In the room I was in, people went down to the floor. I wasn't able to see the shooter or people get hurt," Ricardo Negron Almodovar told BBC News. "At some point, there was a brief pause, and a group of us got up and went to the exit that leads to the patio area outside. We found an exit and after that... I just ran."

According to the Mass Shooting Tracker, the US last year suffered 372 mass shootings, defined as a single incident that kills or injures four or more people. Some 475 people were killed and 1,870 wounded.

The latest incident came as Orlando was still reeling from the fatal shooting on Friday night of 22-year-old singer Christina Grimmie following a concert in the city. She had been signing autographs when she was shot by 26-year-old Kevin James Loibl, who then killed himself. It is not clear what Loibl's motive was."

the man was arrested after the Santa Monica Police department received a call of a prowler. When officers found the man and searched his car, they discovered the weapons and explosives.

The man allegedly told police he was trying to find a friend and the two were going to the LA! Pride Music Festival and Parade in West Hollywood.

According to police, tannerite, an ingredient used in bomb making, was found in the car. The car had Indiana license plates.

Quite to the contrary. I can't prove it, and none of us can, but this has all the markings of Killary and Billary Clinton and their handlers. This tragic event builds on the divide and conquer and keep divided and conquered "wedge issues" they create; such as gay v straight, Muslim v Jewish/Christian, demopublican v republicrat, right v left, gun rights v gun control, Second Amend v repeal Second Amend, etc.... Guns should be illegal for all, but the military should de-weaponize first. De-weaponization should happen from big guns to small guns, in that order.

Officials have named the suspect as Omar Mateen, a 29-year-old from Fort Pierce,
a city about two hours drive south of Orlando, in St Lucie County.

An FBI spokesman said the gunman phoned emergency services before the attack
and pledged allegiance to Islamic State group.

The group has called him an IS "fighter" but no links between him and them have
been confirmed.

Police departments across the country are increasing patrols near locations
frequented by the LGBT community.

In Los Angeles, an armed man was arrested by Santa Monica police as he headed
to the LA Pride event.

Mr Mateen's father told NBC News his son became very angry when he saw two
men kissing recently in Miami.

Key talking heads "on the Hill" had been starting to spin when the big questions were asked, the guy was a LICENSED registered security agent, registered within Florida's statutes.

The talking heads are saying anyone could go out and legally buy an assault weapon (therefore MORE gun controls are needed). That's not the point that's the SPIN to detract from this person Mateen was cleared. And he was also then authorized with a separate license to have various weapons.
