One of the ways that the Bastards in Power set us against each other is by infiltrating various groups (nationalities, tribes, religions, races, ...) and perpetrating (or seeming to perpetrate) heinous crimes, which are retold with even more exaggerated horrific detail, and blamed on that group, in general terms.

Not all, not even most, Jews, Americans, French, Muslims, Russians, Japanese, Chinese, etc, etc are responsible for, or typically even aware of, the great crimes which have been perpetrated, or claimed to be perpetrated, in their name.
