Hi guys

I'm new to this community and thought it would be nice to share information with you all regarding my own experiences and knowledge as somebody with empathic psychic ability.

I'll respond as soon as I have the time to do so. I'm not a super busy person or anything, so I will more than likely respond to questions throughout each day.

It's funny, I'm a hugely empathic person, and I've developed what might be considered some psychic gifts along the way. But I've never considered myself a psychic of any kind.

These are things I absolutely could never ever talk about with folks in my day to day life for the most part.
My wife will hear what I would consider rated G type stuff, but this line of thinking is outside of her experiences and as such she wants no part of it. It's funny, she says the words in terms of wanting to hear this type of stuff and trying to be supportive and all, but being an empath I know she is humoring me and the whole topic scares her and she doesn't want to believe in it. Which is cool.
And which is why it is also awesome to have a place like Avalon were folks are more than willing to discuss such things.

Just to clarify, I can't read minds. I can sometimes feel the energy of a person in a picture, but my consistent ability is that I can feel energies from locations, animals and people, but they have to be nearby. I can feel if somebody is a good or bad person, but the more experience I have gained practising my ability, the more I do realise that it isn't always as simple as 'this person is good or bad'.

I was actually taught to create a white shield surrounding me to ward out negative energy by another psychic. I was having trouble keeping out the bad stuff I feel around others and so after she read me, I realised she was the real deal and I asked for advice. She said to envision the shield and make yourself aware that it will keep out the negative energy. The idea is that the power of your own thought can keep the negative energy from being taken in, which I definitely do agree is effective.

When I say the power of your own thought, I mean that there is no actual shield, just the fact that you are envisioning something to defend you changes things on the subatomic level (this has been proven scientifically with human thought influencing water).

As a psychic empath, I assume you mean you can detect moods, motives, and maybe even physical illness from someone just by being in close proximity to them. Are you also able to use your gifts to help soften a foul mood or send healing energy to a physically sick person? Please elaborate as much as you can.

I don't know if other non-fake empaths can just read people from a distance with 0 visual, but I know I get nothing. This same thing occurs with the lady who taught me to envision defensive shielding. She is a psychic who sees things about your past, present and future. She always requires you to be physically present to read you and I can promise she is the real deal, as I went to her expecting to be able to debunk the things she told me (people that pretend are often vague and can even access personal information electronically to mess with you).

She is very specific about past, present and future events and has not been wrong a single time. Sent both myself and my partner home teary because we were just so shocked. Lovely lady though, very genuine personality

I can detect those things, yes. I can detect a lot of feelings that people try to hide from me, which is both a gift and a curse. I have people open up to me all the time and talk to me about their issues. These people aren't aware of my ability, but time after time comment on some unknown feeling they get about me. They describe it as a feeling that I am good and trustworthy, even if they don't know me at all.

People also constantly like to point out that animals are drawn to me, even ones that don't like being around anybody but their owner. The same thing occurs with babies and young children. I believe they can sense my aura. I don't know why children would be able to sense that better than adults.

The emotions of others can often overwhelm me both in a positive manner and negative manner. Its amazing when I go to places where lots of positive people are together, it is amazingly blissful to me. The opposite can me me so drained I can barely speak. Sometimes I won't even know what is going on at first because the negative energy isn't visible. What I mean by that is people bury it and keep going on with their day to day lives, put a smile on their face etc.

Most energetic vampire types need for you to cooperate on some level.
If they are using intimidation tactics then they need you to cooperate by being afraid of them.
If they are using criticizing tactics then they need you to cooperate by agreeing with their criticism.
If they are using victimization tactics then they need you to agree they are a victim and as such feel sorry for them.
Masterful energy vampires use an aloof technique, where as they engage in activity where as you must see and acknowledge them, but they on the other hand act as if they do not see you and thus do not acknowledge you. These folks are basically engaged in a game called I'm better than you and want you to agree with them on some level. The best way to deal with these folks is to kill them with kindness. If you offer help and or compliment them loudly on whatever they pride themselves in you will find it melts their aloofness. Killing with kindness works with a lot of this stuff actually.

Empathy is the ability to feel the emotional state and therefore many times the intentions of an individual you are in close proximity to.


I think all folks can do this, but it seems empathic folks are more capable in this regard.

Hi 7alon. Here is my question: How do you cope with crowds?

I'll take a stab at this.
When I was younger crowds used to bother me quite a bit.
One way of coping I found would be to stare at anything other than people's faces.
I would often count cracks on the ground. Another tactic I used when I was young, I'm near sighted, as such I would often operate in crowds without my glasses or contacts on, this would provide some relief.
I agree with the OP's initial statement that you need the person to be in proximity in order to feel and use the empathic ability, and I think this also counts so far as needing to see certain cues, such as facial expressions and body language.


Later I'd read a book called "I'm okay you're okay" and as cheesy as the title sounds (I'm sure most of you have heard of it) the psychology is sound having been based on transactional analysis which I give quite a bit of credence to.
Many empathic people are so because they were not properly defended as children. In such cases when children are forced to grow up before their time, they develop what is referred to as an adaptive child ego state. This adaptive child ego state will stay with the individual all of their life. This Adaptive child ego state is amazing at reading people, because it had to be. The adaptive child needed to gather intelligence so as to guess the motives and actions of others in its environment so as to prepare and act accordingly being as they are not being properly defended or cared for by a parental unit. Often times this is developed in response to an abusive parent as well.


In crowds this causes information overload and is quite uncomfortable. There is a way to turn this adaptive child ego state off for a short time, it is through developing and maintaining the Natural Child ego state, which is basically maintaining the affirmation "I'm okay You're Okay". When in the natural child ego state you often activate the Natural Child ego state in others who in close proximity. This is almost always a positive thing. A uplifting thing.

lake" Unconditional love is not an emotion. It is a state of consciousness. Unconditional love is not the love we experience in the 3D world. Unconditional love can be accessed thru the heart (there is a room or place in the heart which is 5D/unconditional love.) You go there by intending it or by visualizing your consciousness as a white ball moving from your head to your heart. You can feel the difference immediately. For example, if you are angry or in a bad mood, it dissolves as soon as you move into this heart space. I don't know if this explanation is clear. Maybe someone else can give their perspective. I am an empath. All I know is I can usually "read" someone's energy to know how they really feel; rarely I can actually know what they are thinking. I also have precognition with life or death type of situations, but I have always interpreted this as my higher self communicating with me. So to try and answer your question (just my opinion), an empath is reading energy and unconditional love is a state of consciousness. One is a person with a certain ability, one is a state of consciousness.

Honestly, I didn't cope in the past, but as I have improved control, I don't have much of an issue now. I've become pretty good at blocking out undesirable feelings for the most part. How do I do this? I use the technique I discussed earlier where I envision a shield around me that keeps other people's negative energy away.

As far as I'm aware empathy is to feel what others feel; putting yourself in their shoes so to speak. I get the impression you might be asking me about my ability specifically? If you mean do people that have empathic ability have a strong sense of love, then as far as I know, the answer is yes.

I can only 100% speak for myself when I say I definitely have a strong sense of love and connection to nature, animals and people. I have always been this way and people have often commented about it. Being young and ignorant, I thought everybody was like me haha.
