'Panic! At the Disco' official video - ugly scenes of child torture and ritualism

Can't quite decide if the official video for the song 'LA Devotee' is just a piece of satire with deeply unpleasant imagery - or is it Hollywood forcing itself on us with its vile debauchery, all the while numbing our consciences to what is to come.

It starts with a girl being abducted by what appears to be a witch, then changes to a boy being strapped to a (electric?) chair by more witches. The boy is shown in great pain.

The music itself is utterly nondescript. The message appears to be that if one wants to be a success in life, then an irrevocable deal with the devil is necessary, to become initiated with the occult world. There was a time when content that dealt with torture for the perverted pleasure of others would have been banned outright, but it would appear content like this has been accelerating. Cases in point: Katy Perry's 'Wide Awake', the Superbowl, etc etc.

Is the intent of this video to numb viewers into accepting black ritual magic? Or to blow the whistle on the whole thing? Is it a cry for help?

There are, apparently, soul groups walking around that can help these people break their contracts.
