A politically correct version would be a really short read wouldn't it.

Well, if the Holy Bible is really about me, someone please tell me how the Biblical references cited in #s 1-10 below all fit with my values. (Or anyone else's reading this, for that matter!)

The context is this. On her radio show, 'Dr. Laura' [Schlesinger] a little while ago said that, as an observant Orthodox Jew, homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22, and cannot be condoned under any circumstances.

Now, enjoy the following open letter — written by an American teacher:

    Dear Dr. Laura:

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some other elements of God's Laws and how to follow them.

    1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

    2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

    3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15: 19-24. The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

    4. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

    5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself, or should I ask the police to do it?

    6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination, Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this? Are there 'degrees' of abomination?

    7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle-room here?

    8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?

    9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

    10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev.19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair, like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively and thus enjoy considerable expertise in such matters, so I'm confident you can help.

Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

    Your adoring fan,

    James M. Kauffman,

Hey truth seekah, nice article it really resonated with the Holy Spirit. The part about the giant, gold calfs and obsticles is so true... The only way to break out of the fallen matrix of duality and take hold of your true destiny is through the love and blood of Christ.

What do you mean by the blood of Christ? Are you using it as a metaphor for something or are you using the term literally? If you see it as a metaphor, what does it signify for you? If you take it literally, do you think we could, alternatively, still be "redeemed" by offering a lamb or a goat instead of opting for the "blood of Christ" option?

That's a good question bro im glad you asked. The blood of Christ literally saves you from the second death of eternal separation from the God Head. The only sacrifice that is acceptable for sin is the Holy blood of God Himself! When that blood cleanses you, you are free from the destiny of your fallen state (environment, astronomical birth charts, circumstances etc..) and truly come into alignment with the Creator.
When you sacrifice an animal its soul goes back to heaven and its blood which is ignorant of sin because its a beast was used as a covering for sin. It was just a shadow of things to come, that's why the Lord ordered the jews to do it until the real Lamb of God came to do away with sacrifices forever.

All religious texts from any source are ways in which the original writer was able to interpret the word of God at the time, the original story has been changed so much by those who decided to force others into believing what they did/brainwash them or spend less time with others that didn't so the truth is very hard to see if you only take the bible in a literally sense because with the best of intentions they are only telling their own point of view and that is why in every religious order there is so much room for interpretation because the books can easily be corrupted when another soul sees room for improvement until it turns into politics and we all know very well how THAT game is played
We're all here cause we're tired of being lied to, and we're frustrated by all those who don't even realise they are being, but we have to come to open our eyes to the full picture which is you could write a million stories about who represents us here on earth, but there would always be a point of view that you might miss especially if you focus on only comparing yourself to someone of the same species, how about examples of how we are with each other and how the beings we share are planet are with one another?
When we can familiarise ourselves with how much we are connected to the beautiful nature that exists then it'll be easier to find yourself

I found this very helpful to read:

Did you know that before there was any books, there was shamanism http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/ci..._chaman_32.htm

The Wonderful Avalonian Library!!! You did it again! Thank you SO MUCH, Morningsong, for posting the video of Mauro Biglino showing how the literal translations of the Bible have nothing to do with what has been imposed upon us in religious circles, I have thought for a long time that our Creation account in Genesis sounded like a "generic" version of whatever REALLY happened. Guess I was right! A big THANK YOU to all of you who make this Forum work!

It's metaphor... it's about Redemption, in this interpretation there is no need to sacrifice animals anymore... (Old Testament) Christ's sacrifice was a perfect sacrifice) And means we have all been redeemed... (but only if you "accept" him as your Lord and Saviour...) and believe it or not there is a commercial model based on it... just as there was on the "sacrificing" of animals... and that "deal" goes all the way back to the Garden of Eden... when Adam & Eve broke the first covenant (pact/agreement/contract) and set the stage (or standard) by which humanity would be judged (how to be dealt with) i.e. as "imperfect, fallible, lying, self serving little dum dums... for the most part... God didn't kill them, because he "loved" them (just like we don't kill down's syndrome babies... we love them too...) Yep, this was spelled out pretty clearly in Genesis... (i.e. someone already seemed to know "mankind" pretty well!) this was clearly exemplified when Adam and Eve couldn't even live by ONE contract... not even ONE command... what eating of the forbidden fruit symbolized... and they were "supposed" to die... but God (the ultimate deal maker) worked out another deal for them (so he had rules even back then...) he would "buy them out" (since he owned them outright to begin with...) and they could make "payment" for their "sins" with the sacrifice of animals... this would never get them completely out of jail... but was a stop gap measure... a symbolic gesture... a spiritual IOU... The parallel in the world of trust is called a transfer of liability... the "death" they were supposed to "suffer" was transferred onto the "scapegoat" (another biblical concept) It would die in the place of the man/woman... man was to perform this "ritual" as a reminder a reupdate of the "account" or a rewriting of the IOU... to always keep this fresh in man's mind... he owed one... (a big one)

In the meantime God would "work" with mankind... maybe see if he could spiritually raise him up a bit... in preparation for... the big event.. i.e. when Christ would come... (the new deal) When a "deal" would be worked out for a "final settlement" Christ... would, of HIS own free will, sacrifice himself, so that we could all be "redeemed"... his life, freely given, the life of a perfect spiritual being... would be the only thing that could satisfy the original debt created by "Adam and Eve" i.e. there is nothing we can do, or give "God" (since we don't have anything to GIVE him, (except our "Love"...another commercial concept that exists even in accounting, all trust and equitable terms too.. ie. good will, good faith, our promise, etc... this is NOT the same thing as thinking there is something we can do though to BUY our way out... in that context, (the commercial idea, there literally is nothing we can do... there is no action in that context... no coin, no action, (the trap of the commercial world is it's illusion) Only by his "Grace" can we be saved... and our only requirement was/is our free will and voluntary "acceptance" of him (his principles, his system of governance, his philosophy...) which itself is a system that fully accounts for our pathetic (spiritual) imperfection... i.e. our greed, avarice, selfishness, hatred, prejudice, etc.. (but mostly selfishness... man's most predictable behaviour... or lack of "sacrifice" for others, etc... ) If we followed this system we could survive (and thrive)

And this does in fact parallel commerce... and trust in particular... acceptance of an offer makes contract... and an offer (a form of title or right to something) isn't perfected without the acceptance of the other party... even if the party somehow is given an offer and is holding it and even "using" it (but that's another story...)

Point is... I (we) have found laws which show that unless there is a formal acceptance of an offer, the party holding the "title"... is in a "compromised" position (that is too complicated to get into here...) Just know this is a fundamental centuries old concept that is the basis of commercial and legal principles today, without that crucial acceptance, and I am specifically referring to equity and trust laws... the party holding a title is compromised and locked out of all the benefits of any potentially existing trust! (why I find the Bible and the whole NT story so fascinating... metaphorical as I see it...)

Anyhoos, no you don't have to sacrifice a goat, (that was OT) and that was done as a ritual reminder to the people "they were forever owing one" to the big guy... And besides even A.D. there is nothing you can do to you can do... to "win over" God (contrary to what a lot of people think...) the only thing you can do is accept his grace and be grateful... meaning accept his principle (which in it's simplest form meant to apply the "Golden Rule"... it was meant to be a simple system of equality, peace, and forgiveness of debt (no usury) and the anti-thesis of accumulation of too much wealth in any one man or woman's hands... why the Queen and the Vatican own everything (because they are Fictional Bodies... the first Corporations... Trustees... i.e. technically and properly understood... they are "holding it on behalf of "God" for the benefit of the public... Everyone is supposed to recognize that everything is "God given" i.. We got here "free and empty handed" we are leaving the same way... thus we have no right to demand anything, from anybody... quite the contrary... we should be asking how can we possibly make the most of our good grace? (by service to others, as a symbolic gesture of our gratefulness to Him?) the idea was/is freely given, freely shared...

and in a hidden way that is how the world is set up today in Western Cultures... (it's just hidden in the private)
As for people who don't get it (about 99%) there is public Roman Commerce... the system most of us were born into... the one we all know and (try to) understand...

Equity and Trust and the Bible that is trying to tell that story, about that hidden system we can all get into... that it is here... and it is operating, but it is completely in a separate domain from the Roman public system of commerce... because it has been hidden in another system of private trust... in fact I just discovered the US constitution is a private trust document... thus why it is not allowed in public statutory courts... when people start claiming constitutional rights the "judges" (corporate tribunal arbitrators) will have nothing to do with it... why? because you are in the WRONG jurisdiction to claim such... and beside you are not properly claiming it...

Sorry ... where my mind always goes when I hear this "bible stuff" .... Morale of the Story... the bible is vastly more complex and cryptic then we can possibly imagine... but there is a story in there... and it's entirely codified in a highly symbolic language, and requires a high degree of logic, someone like the mind of Jordan Maxwell, and many like him, it's metaphors, topological literature, maxims of equity, parables, stories, the names have been changed to protect the secrets, it supposed to be a lifetime puzzle book for the human mind, if you will... anyhow... the more I look at it this way, and combine the hidden history (Freemason stuff) the Roman history, the Vatican history, the legal comparison... etc, the more I find it reveals... There is no question in my mind... Truth IS absolutely stranger than fiction... This truth is hidden... to protect it... especially in a world of evil, selfishness, low education, material covetousness, etc...

addendum: of course I should add, this interpretation is based on the 1611 AKJV, which is only 400 years ago... the authorized (by King James) version commissioned to Sir Francis Bacon (thought to be one of the William Shakespeare authors, and Robert Fludd (Master of the Priori of Sion) also known as the John Dee of the 15th century...

my 2 cents (as much as I can spit out in one thought process... ;P

James M. Kauffman is as bad as me with his 'irony' - it made me smile Yes, the bible, it is an important book to us as an historical source of social history and the very substance of our western religion, to be read studied but wisely side stepped as a pattern for existence, it is time to move on ladies and gentlemen.

Good point, GalaxyHorse, however, it simply blows my mind that an entire planet has been deceived by a system created by other human beings in the name of religion. Someone else's agenda has been at work here on this planet & none of us would have even KNOWN that if there had not been those who had curious minds wanting to search out what REALLY has been going on.
