To play the game to perfection one must be one with the game. So much so that if one was asked to distinguish player from game in a gestalt perspective they would have a hard time doing so.

To the player, the game is viewed as all there is. This symbiotic relationship is so important that if it was discovered there was more then the 'all there is' of the game, the spell would be broken between player and game. What would be the fun in that? Perhaps the fun is in playing the game again?

What game piece are you choosing this round? Do you want to leave it to chance and roll/ role the dice? What is this? You want pretend you're all the pieces but think/ believe you're only one? How cleaver a player is that?
