When word leaked that Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson, a holder of the Order of Friendship award in Putin’s Russia, was Donald Trump’s choice for secretary of state, John McCain had this thoughtful response:

“Vladimir Putin is a thug, a bully, and a murderer and anybody else who describes him as anything else is lying.”

Yet, Putin is something else, the leader of the largest nation on earth, a great power with enough nuclear weapons to wipe the United States off the face of the earth. And we have to deal with him.

McCain was echoed by the senior Democrat on foreign relations, Bob Menendez, who said naming Tillerson secretary of state would be “alarming and absurd … guaranteeing Russia has a willing accomplice in the (Trump) Cabinet guiding our nation’s foreign policy.”

Sen Marco Rubio chimed in:

“Being a ‘friend of Vladimir’ is not an attribute I am hoping for from a Secretary of State.”

If just three GOP senators vote no on Tillerson, and Democrats vote as a bloc against him, his nomination would go down. President Trump would sustain a major and humiliating defeat.

Who is Tillerson? A corporate titan, he has traveled the world, represented Exxon in 60 countries, is on a first-name basis with countless leaders, and is endorsed by Condi Rice and Robert Gates.

Dr. Samuel Johnson’s observation —

“A man is seldom more innocently occupied than when he is engaged in making money” — may be a bit of a stretch when it comes to OPEC and the global oil market.

Yet there is truth to it. Most businessmen are interested in doing deals, making money, and, if the terms are not met, walking away, not starting a war.

And here is the heart of the objection to Tillerson. He wants to end sanctions and partner with Putin’s Russia, as does Trump. But among many in the mainstream media, think tanks, websites, and on the Hill, this is craven appeasement. For such as these, the Cold War is never over.

The attacks on Tillerson coincide with new attacks on Russia, based on CIA sources, alleging that not only did Moscow hack into the Democratic Party and Clinton campaign, and leak what it found to hurt Hillary Clinton, but Russia was trying to help elect Trump, and succeeded.

Why would Moscow do this?

Monday’s editorial in The New York Times explains:

“In Mr. Trump, the Russians had reason to see a malleable political novice, one who had surrounded himself with Kremlin lackeys.”

Backed by Democratic leader Sen. Chuck Schumer, McCain has announced an investigation. The goal, said the Times, is to determine “whether anyone within Trump’s inner circle coordinated with the Kremlin and whether Moscow spread fake news to hurt Mrs. Clinton.”

What is going on here? More than meets the eye.

The people who most indignantly condemned Trump’s questioning of Obama’s birth certificate as a scurrilous scheme to delegitimize his presidency, now seek to delegitimize Trump’s presidency.

The Times editorial spoke of a “darkening cloud” already over the Trump presidency, and warned that a failure to investigate and discover the full truth of Russia’s hacking could only “feed suspicion among millions of Americans that … (t)he election was indeed rigged.”

Behind the effort to smear Tillerson and delegitimize Trump lies a larger motive. Trump has antagonists in both parties who alarmed at his triumph because it imperils the foreign policy agenda that is their raison d’etre, their reason for being.

These people do not want to lift sanctions on Moscow. They do not want an end to the confrontation with Russia. As is seen by their bringing in tiny Montenegro, they want to enlarge NATO to encompass Sweden, Finland, Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.

They have in mind the permanent U.S. encirclement of Russia.

They want to provide offensive weapons to Kiev to reignite the civil war in the Donbass and enable Ukraine to move on Crimea. This would mean a war with Russia that Ukraine would lose and we and our NATO allies would be called upon to intervene in and fight.

Their goal is to bring down Putin and bring about “regime change” in Moscow.

In the campaign, Trump said he wanted to get along with Russia, to support all the forces inside Syria and Iraq fighting to wipe out ISIS and al-Qaida, and to stay out of any new Middle East wars — like the disaster in Iraq — that have cost us “six trillion dollars.”

This is what America voted for when it voted for Trump — to put America First and “make America great again.” But War Party agitators are already beating the drums for confrontation with Iran.

Early in his presidency, if not before, Trump is going to have to impose his foreign policy upon his own party and, indeed, upon his own government. Or his presidency will be broken, as was Lyndon Johnson’s.

A good place to begin is by accepting the McCain-Marco challenge and nominating Rex Tillerson for secretary of state. Let’s get it on.

I have a theory and no matter how crazy it sounds, I would like to document this ahead of time on a public platform. I have to admit that I have bought into this election in some ways in spite of myself. Feeling a relief that we would not have to deal with Hillary and that level of status quo corruption that comes with her. Watching in amazement that overnight the country is awash in hope that industry will be encouraged to stay and in some cases brought back to the US, possibly reviving the middle class. Now I believe this is the ultimate set up designed to create an uprising among the people severe enough to institute martial law. Imagine what will happen if Trump does not take office. I believe it will be the catalyst they are looking for.

Imagine what they could say to the electorates to get their cooperation. It would not be that far fetched at all..... You don't think all this preparation, FEMA camps and the movement of military vehicles to key locations, the donations of equipment and vehicles to police departments is all for fun.. I hope to God, that I am just suffering from an over active imagination. Yes - indeed - there is always another level of treachery. My take, agreeing with Ken over at RedefiningGod.com, is that the real globalists are on track to substantially rachet up their global control, and if they succeed in their efforts, most humans will welcome the changes. Was the theory ever debunked that the elite would somehow manage it so that Obama remains in office (presumably due to some kind of event resulting in martial law)?
If that is still in the cards, then we would probably be seeing the "event" soon; more rioting perhaps?
But the picture is further complicated by the fact that new evidence is scheduled to be revealed in January showing that Obama's birth certificate and history were falsified (as well as questions re his Social Security number and his daughters' parentage).
Though no doubt that could all be suppressed or ignored if events are well enough orchestrated.
If the stories about how Trump was elected are really all just a part of the orchestration, then the election trauma-drama is probably not over yet.
Possibly the event that would provide an excuse for the declaration of martial law would be the assassination of Trump.
Or possibly a false flag event in which Trump is apparently assassinated, but is actually spirited away to be retired for the rest of his life to some island paradise, while Obama remains the pliant tool of the elite as POTUS.
With martial law, they wouldn't have to worry about alternative news getting the truth out about Obama's birth certificate or anything else, for that matter, and
the fake news could continue being faked.
The reason my suspicions keep on veering in this direction is that rather than public acceptance of the election results, tensions and disagreement seem to be on the increase...

Frank Zappa and McLuhan both of which he studied in his intel days. There is

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes on Wednesday blasted as "unacceptable" the refusal of the FBI, CIA and National Intelligence directors to brief his panel on the Russian cyber attacks that occurred during the presidential campaign.

Nunes had requested that National Intelligence Director James Clapper, with participation from FBI Director James Comey and CIA Director John Brennan, brief committee members in a closed session on Thursday.

That briefing has now been cancelled.

The California Republican, in a letter sent to Clapper on Monday, said he wanted clarification about why the CIA is now saying that Russian hacks of political campaign committees earlier this year appeared to be aimed at helping President-elect Donald Trump and hurting Democrat Hillary Clinton. Nunes pointed to testimony from Clapper in a public hearing in November that the Intelligence Community lacked the evidence to draw such a conclusion.

"It is unacceptable that the Intelligence Community directors would not fulfill the House Intelligence Committee’s request to be briefed tomorrow on the cyber-attacks that occurred during the presidential campaign," Nunes said in a statement released Wednesday night. "The legislative branch is constitutionally vested with oversight responsibility of executive branch agencies, which are obligated to comply with our requests."

Yes, I've seen your other posts regarding this, Paul. But my Source(s) tells me different.
There's always going to be the next level of treachery that is ready to be put into place.

Yes - indeed - there is always another level of treachery. My take, agreeing with Ken over at RedefiningGod.com, is that the real globalists are on track to substantially rachet up their global control, and if they succeed in their efforts, most humans will welcome the changes. That's the "next level" of treachery I see unfolding, even now.

My Source tells me that Trump will take the Oath of Office on January 20th 2017, and will be the next POTUS.
We got just about a month to go...

We'll see. Since most of my predictions over the years have failed ... the odds of you being right are good .

Something else occurred to me earlier today, that fits in with this speculation of Ken over at RedefiningGod.com, that I've been posting.

I've been taking for granted that if, somehow, the US Presidential election ended up being decided the House of Representatives, then it would go to Republican Trump, without delay. The Republicans control the House.

That's not entirely so.

• Trump is not a Washington insider.
• Trump is vowing to "drain the swamp".
• Many of the Republican leadership openly opposed Trump during the election.
• Most politicians in Washington are "swamp critters", the bought and paid for agents of our "swamp masters".

The instincts of Republican Representatives are not automatically pro-Trump. Indeed, our Republican Representatives have good reason to be leary of Trump.

Moreover, many elected Representatives started out as lawyers, and it is a natural instinct of lawyers, when pushed into a difficult situation, to stall (or sue, or charge) for more time.

All this fits well with Ken's forecast. The various controversies over the Russians, various leaks and hacks, various allegations from the CIA of Russian hacking of the US election, Lawrence Lessig's (a major power broker for decades) accumlating "faithless electors" to vote for someone else other than Trump, etc ... all seem to me a setup to get Congress, when they receive the letters from the Electoral College on Jan 6, 2017, to reject enough of the states electors to throw the election into controversy that would not be decided until after Jan 20, 2017.

Those backing Trump would protest vigorously, but those who had backed Clinton would likely think that Congress was doing just what it should do to ensure that the election was fair and honest.

Meanwhile, from Jan 20 until whenever Congress did decide Trump had won, the Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, would be the undisputed temporary President ... setting us up for whatever nasty escalation between Russia and the US in the war in the Middle East that the elite bastards had in store for us.

Chris Suprun is one of 38 Texas electors. He recently went public with his decision to go against the will of the people of Texas; he will not be honoring his pledge to vote for President Elect, Donald Trump.

Chris Suprun has taken quite a beating on social media by Americans who are outraged at his decision to go rogue. There was even a petition started to have him removed and replaced.

Eyebrows were raised and suspicions grew over what Mr. Suprun’s intentions really are after he penned an op-ed in the New York Times over his decision to be a ‘faithless elector’. Shockingly, his Twitter bio directs media inquiries to P.R. firm, Megaphone Strategies. This P.R. firm represents radical left wing organizations like Black Lives Matter and even represents CNN’s ultra left wing radical, Van Jones.

Got News’ research has revealed that Chris Suprun filed Bankruptcy and 6 months later joined Ashley Madison, which is a ‘dating site’ for married people looking to have an affair. Mr. Suprun had 3 children under the age of 10 at the time! It is also alleged that he was unemployed during this time while his wife worked full time!

Is this the type of person who should be allowed to be an elector? If he can’t even be faithful to his wife and family, how do we expect him to be faithful and uphold his pledge as an elector?

A man who is as compromised as Chris Suprun is ripe for blackmail or bribery and must be removed and replaced immediately.

A Wikileaks envoy today claims he personally received Clinton campaign emails in Washington D.C. after they were leaked by ‘disgusted’ whisteblowers – and not hacked by Russia.

Craig Murray, former British ambassador to Uzbekistan and a close associate of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, told Dailymail.com that he flew to Washington, D.C. for a clandestine hand-off with one of the email sources in September.

‘Neither of [the leaks] came from the Russians,’ said Murray in an interview with Dailymail.com on Tuesday. ‘The source had legal access to the information. The documents came from inside leaks, not hacks.’

The source gave it to him.

There was no hacking. There was instead a disguntled Democrat operative who had access to the data, dumped it, and turned it over.

This is a guy who

(1) claims to have met the actual source,
(2) received the actual data and
(3) got the data because the person who took it was pissed off that the Democrats stole the nomination from Sanders.

The “Russian” claim just went up in smoke.

If you’re one of the people running it, unless you can prove this guy is full of crap, I expect your apology.

If I don’t get it, or proof that he’s lying, then f*** you.

F*** you now, f*** you forever, f*** you personally, politically and professionally and f*** everyone who associates with you and does not immediately repudiate said association and take the exact same position.

MANHATTAN — An 18-year-old Muslim college student who claimed three men screaming "Donald Trump!" attacked her on a Manhattan subway platform was arrested on charges of filing a false report after admitting she made up the incident, sources told DNAinfo New York.

Yasmin Seweid, a Baruch College student, told police that she boarded a uptown No. 6 train at East 23rd St. on Dec. 1 and was called a "terrorist" by three drunken young white men.

She also claimed that when she moved to the other end of the train, one of the men followed her and tried to pull off her hijab before she fled.

But investigators who spent significant NYPD resources trying to verify her story were unable to find any witnesses to the incident or video that could corroborate her story, sources said.

Seweid finally recanted Tuesday, admitting she misguidedly made up the tale to get attention because she was having issues with her family at home.

She was arranged in Manhattan Criminal Court Wednesday night on misdemeanor charges of filing a false report, according to the criminal complaint. She was released from court late Wednesday night, according to reports. Prosecutors declined to discuss the case or say when she would be due back in court.

A source explained that, given the amount of time detectives spent chasing the phony story, and how politically charged the allegation was, the police and prosecutors felt compelled to charge her, particularly since they said they had given her numerous opportunities to come clean earlier in the process. She repeatedly refused to tell the truth for weeks, they added.

The charges came as news to her father on Wednesday afternoon.

"You try to raise your children as best you can," said her father Sayeed Seweid, a limo driver who is attending law school at St. John's. "Maybe she was afraid that night. She was running late," he added.

After the incident, his daughter had gone missing for several days and he had filed a missing persons report. She was later found at a friend's house, according to reports.

"She's a bright, good girl. She's young and maybe she was foolish here," he added. "Young kids, you know, you don't understand their mentality."
