But how trustworthy are readings from the EPA?
They match my readings perfectly. I see they also match other's independent readings perfectly also with whom I correspond. I have no reason to believe otherwise.

Does that include the West Coast?

San diego, Colorado, Wisconsin, Tennesee, and DC area match based on my associates readings as well as mine. If anything EPA readings are slightly HIGHER than private readings from equipment. I assume that is because the detector that the EPA uses is more sensitive (bigger detector) than us civilians have. Go and click on each of the blue dots in the link - https://www.epa.gov/radnet/near-real...ory-data-state and plot your own charts across the country, west coast, central and east coast. There are even detectors in the Caribbean.

the problem isn't the measurement, it's the way the numbers are interpreted.

    the "no exposure" mentality.

    Where are you?

Some things to consider relating to Fukushima:

    1. It was an old GE reactor design that takes a long time to shut down, not that it mattered. There are more of them next to the ocean just waiting for a big earthquake.

    2. The dungeness crab season was cancelled last year. My source said it was radiation. Starfish are dying off. The delicate species will disappear first. My most favorite king crab is at risk. Tuna prices are way down on the Tokyo fish market. At this rate the Pacific ocean will be dead quite soon. How many people depend on the bounty of the Pacific to sustain themselves? Can we say very effective populatiion reduction scheme?

    3. All signs point to whomever inhabits this planet in 50 years will have to live in a much greater radiation environment. Alice Bailey stated that too.

There is no high exposure being reported by ANY of the US detectors, in ANY of the States; the amount of radiation is minimal, and the only trace showed up a signature of Iodine 131 which matched the Fukushima reactor, and that was early on when it first had the accident. There has been no elevated Iodine 131 showing up since in the detectors run by the US EPA.

The stuff from the Fukushima reactor is not reaching the US borders. Keep an eye on the EPA detectors, there are individual citizen detector pages also for those who don't believe the US monitoring stations, btw..

    Note IODINE 131

Quote Iodine 131 is a radioisotope with a very short half-life of 8.02 days, making it highly radioactive.

Frequently used in small doses in thyroid cancers therapies, it is also one of the most feared fission products when accidentally released into the environment.
It disappears FAST. It tends to be an indicator of "release" dispersion for any reactor accidents, as is Cesium 137 also an indicator, but Cesium 137 has a half life of about 30 years.

Maybe Japan can call Rick Perry head of EPA to see what an expert would do...

Madrid quakes always hit during solar minimums, I'm sure Perry's brilliant mind has seen fault lines are where most American nuke plants were built and is moving spent fuel and waste to safe locations...

The data my Dear and most astute friend, Rocky was produced before Mr. Perry took office, and has been being recorded and published for quite some time, back before Chernobyl.. You can read the computer generated data yourself and plot out graphically what increased when and where.. Please look at all the blue dots and report to us would you?

I don't believe Mr. Perry has anything to do with the topic of this thread, nor with anything of Fukushima's events happening in Japan, nor could he set policy over there. That Fuku's group bought shoddy GE reactors is interesting.. Who let those reactors go out should be suspect it seems to me.. Don't you?

Leading one away from the fact that NOTHING is happening atmospherically (as far as any appreciable radiation deposit coming in from Fukushima) in the US certainly does no good for anyone, but thump a drum.. now why does anyone need to do that?

READ the data from the independent and the EPA gamma recorders.. NOTHING radioactively dangerous from Fukushima is reaching the US AIR, and nothing then is depositing in any substantial amount, and certainly not creating any issue, unless one trumps up something, right?
