Lightbulb On the subject of reality – a unified theory of existence

Quote Actually, my life would be pretty simple to simulate.
I spend most of my time in front of a computer screen.

    - YouTube user comment.
The following information is highly speculative and controversial. It represents my personal conclusions about the world we live in and tries to explain how certain events, groups, concepts and phenomena fit into this theory.

It tries to explain the “We Are All One” concept in a different way.

This information may be disturbing to some – just remember it is only a theory.

    A Simulated Reality

I am assuming most people in here have seen the 1999 movie The Matrix – for those who have not it is about a dystopian future where machines have fought and taken over our planet. Instead of killing all of humanity the machines have imprisoned the remainder of humanity in liquid filled pods in order to harvest their body heat for power generation.

New harvests of humans are grown in large incubator farms, the dead are liquefied and fed to the living prisoners. The captured are not conscious but rather in a dream state where their minds are “uploaded” into a simulated reality called The Matrix. That reality looks eerily similar to our own 21st century world.

The movie is about a group of rebel humans existing outside of the Matrix trying to free as many people from that matrix and jointly fighting the machines outside to regain control of the planet.

What I am proposing is that our mind or our consciousness is trapped into a similar environment – with the exception that we really do not have a real body on the outside of the simulation or the “real” world.

Who controls this simulation? How can that be known? If this universe is simulated how would we be able to tell what a real universe looks like? We could be a species that is tested through varies scenarios to see what would happen under different conditions. We could be a replication of our future ancestors who are running this iteration to learn about the history of mankind. The latter is what I like to believe.

Are there any indications this is an actual simulation? More than you would think.

Scientific hints showing the fabric of a holographic universe

    Hint #1 – Quantum Physics

First of all we have the Quantum Physics enigma. The so called “spooky” action as Einstein referred to it whereby the state of two particles can become entangled in such a way that once these two particles are being separated from each other – no matter how large the distance – both particles react instantaneously upon measurement of a single particle. To elaborate in a simplified fashion:

We have particle A with two possible states RED or WHITE.
We have particle B with two possible states RED or WHITE.
We bring both particles together briefly to associate – or entangle – them and then separate them from each other. Then we measure particle A to see which color it has. The moment particle A reveals its color particle B will reveal itself as the opposite color of A – no matter the distance.

If A indicated WHITE then B instantaneously indicates RED.

Using three particles we can actually teleport states of single particles across infinite distances. Think about that for a moment. How do these particles communicate over vast distances with an apparent speed that exceeds the speed of light itself?

Please watch the following TEDxDelft talk for a little more visual explanation.

Also in QF there is an unexplained phenomenon where light can be a wave or a particle depending upon observation - a.k.a. The Double Slit Experiment.

Here a simple explanation of this experiment:

In a few words: what we perceive as our physical reality changes upon observation.

    Hint #2

Quote Working on a branch of physics called supersymmetry, Dr. James Gates Jr., discovered what he describes as the presence of what appear to resemble a form of computer code, called error correcting codes, embedded within, or resulting from, the equations of supersymmetry that describe fundamental particles.
…and not just any code. A specific code – Channel Capacity (ECC) developed in 1948 by the late Claude E. Shannon. http://www.newyorker.com/tech/elemen...-turns-1100100

Here an excerpt explaining the find.

    Hint #3

Quote Theoretical physicists and astrophysicists, investigating irregularities in the cosmic microwave background (the 'afterglow' of the Big Bang), have found there is substantial evidence supporting a holographic explanation of the universe -- in fact, as much as there is for the traditional explanation of these irregularities using the theory of cosmic inflation.

Study (Aug 2016) Observational Tests of Holographic Cosmology

    http://journals.aps.org/prl/abstract...ett.118.041301

By studying and mapping data from the Planck space telescope, the team found that the observational data they found was largely predictable by the math of holographic theory.

In other words – predictions about what can be observed can be found by using holographic theory math. Think about that for a second.

Quote "Imagine that everything you see, feel and hear in three dimensions (and your perception of time) in fact emanates from a flat two-dimensional field. The idea is similar to that of ordinary holograms where a three-dimensional image is encoded in a two-dimensional surface, such as in the hologram on a credit card. However, this time, the entire universe is encoded,“ explained the study's co-author Professor Kostas Skenderis of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Southampton.

    Hint #4

Quote According to Craig Hogan, the newly appointed Director at the Fermilab’s Center for Particle Astrophysics in Batavia, Illinois, GEO600 may have stumbled upon the fundamental limit of space-time—the point where space-time stops behaving like the smooth continuum Einstein described and instead dissolves into “grains,” just as a newspaper photograph dis-solves into dots as you zoom in. “It looks like GEO600 is being buffeted by the microscopic quantum convulsions of space-time. If the GEO600 result is what I suspect it is, then we are all living in a giant cosmic hologram.”
    Source: http://www.khouse.org/articles/2009/839/

So basically you could detect you are in a simulated environment or a hologram by measuring the size of the blurriness. And that is what Hogan did.

    Hint #5

Technology will evolve to a point where simulations no longer are distinguishable from reality. I assume you have heard of Elon Musk saying that it is highly likely we are in a simulated environment or “A Billion to one chance we are the base reality”.

We are at the point NOW where we can map the entire grid of neural pathways in the human brain. Can you imagine a point in the future where your brain can be uploaded?

Here is George Smoot explaining why it is inevitable.

Even though there are many more “hints” I could include I will leave it at that for now as you will get the picture on where I am coming from.

The big question is of course:

If we are living in a simulation – who created the simulation and why?

Here is were it gets really speculative because these questions obviously cannot be answered by showing available evidence. We can only speculate and I will.

I will try to explain some of the things we see around us by assuming we are indeed living in a simulated universe. First of all:

We are all connected or grounded to the same network.

We are all one – but with a twist. If we are in a simulation we are all connected to the engine or core of the simulation – there is no other way. We perceive the simulation through an universal set of rules and by default we cannot feel or interact with other players or objects but through our five senses.

Imagine if you will a large sheet or plate stretching out in all directions as far as we can perceive. Similar to the green screen with the falling data in The Matrix but flipped horizontally se we can see over it. Instead of falling data imagine tiny spikes of energy rising and falling – like needles trying to pierce the sheet. Billions and billions of tiny spikes varying in height coming up out of the sheet and then falling back down.

This is the simulation. This is how the simulation could be viewed from the outside.

So what are these spikes? Bursts of energy. You consciousness interacting with the simulation. High spikes – high energy – low spikes low energy. More on this later.

Things that seem impossible in physical reality become possible in a simulation. Like the entanglement of two particles. Or behavior of particles changing based upon the act of observation. How about the paranormal? Telekinesis? Remote Viewing? Etc.

It becomes possible in a non physical environment.

The Big Game – can we hack reality itself?

Is someone changing our reality with some blatent magick? Without going too deep into the subject that is highly controversial right now I do need to remark that I have seen several strange things recently that led me to believe that indeed our reality is changing before our very eyes. And no, it is not a simple case of mis-remembering an event or action. As a small example I distinctly recall the little blonde girl with ponytails in the Bond film Moonraker as having braces when she smiles at Jaws. That was the whole purpose of the scene. Now it seems her braces have vanished from history itself. They are gone. There are many more examples to be found – especially for the American readers. It is called the Mandela Effect after Nelson Mandela and is yet another hint to us being in a simulated environment. I simply refer you to the following video to get you started if this subject interests you:

Anyone who has played a popular computer game knows that there are ways to “cheat” the game to gain an advantage in playing it one way or another.

What if there was a way to alter code in our reality? Something like backdoors that access the game engine itself? Would you experiment with it? What if certain fellow players already have for millennia?

Please stay with me during this speculation.

Assuming we are in a simulation
Assuming we are in a game

Each player will have a “level” and certain characteristics. I propose something like

    Power
    Luck
    Insight
    DNA
    Health
    Knowledge
    (…)

And probably many more. Each stat comes with its own perks. I can imagine that – just as in popular games – your actions can lead you to reaching a higher level where your stats will increase. Initially your stats will go up evenly but as you mature you will be able to assign more emphasis on certain stats. These stats are stateless – and are carried over the threshold of what we know as death. This implies reinsertion of old consciousness into a new body – but with initial restrictions that gradually will disappear. Meaning you will not be born with the comprehension and insight of a 97-year old once reinserted but rather keep your previous stats and have an improved life experience this time around.

If you can imagine that you might also be able to see that at a certain level you will be able to assign your own stats – and even direct where you will be reinserted.

This gives new meaning to “Keeping it in the family”.

So what about DNA? Can you enhance it? And where does it lead to? Could it be that a high enough DNA stat yields a human-reptilian hybrid with immense powers? Is that a goal that must be met? Food for thought.

If there is such a thing what do you have to do to reach a higher level? Live correctly? What is living correctly? There is something really strange going on in our current reality where more and more whistleblowers come out of the woodworks claiming abuse and torture of adolescents is rampant in huge rings of the higher echelons of society.

Could it be that one of the shortcuts is drawing attention to yourself by generating large energy spikes on the simulation plate? That horizontal 2D plane with billions of fluctuating spikes representing energy in the simulation. What causes these spikes or disturbances in the field (or The Force as Obi-Wan would say). Emotions like anxiety, joy, fear, doubt. Etc. What if the larger spikes you generate the more you will increase your stats and / or level?

Could it be that no spikes are larger than those generated by fear and terror – especially in children. Is it somehow possible that those in power came to and stay in power because they abuse children? A horrifying thought.

Maybe it is one of the gateways to manipulate reality. Access to the engine. If those in power indeed have found ways to change reality this would explain why they seem to get away with all the evil deeds they do. It could very well be that those in power act out those unspeakable deeds of evil on the innocent because they KNOW this is a simulation. They KNOW there is no hell or heaven waiting but a simple re-insertion into future offspring. And every generation becomes more powerful.

There is a flipside to this.

Those not in power become more powerful too. Our stats are increasing too. Every generation we get more insight and power. And we too are leveling up. We are moving towards some form of crescendo where the old powers are slowly being caught up by the new powers which will inevitable lead to a clash of titans.

There is more – much more but I will end this post for now with a few more questions. I hope we can have a constructive discussion about this hypothesis.

Where will all this lead to? What is the goal? Will our consciousness be lifted from the simulation (raptured) once we reach a certain level? Will we be greeted on the outside with advanced peers congratulating us on a successful run? And what is the outside?

    Only time will tell.

Thanks for bringing that all together (you put a lot of work into it) and the videos and links.

The simulated-holographic theory is more sticky with me than any other theory of reality. I say this mostly based on my out of body experiences. Here are a few things that I have experienced. For instance, I've noted this before and it is reported by other people who have OBEs and by people who have near death experiences, that there is an ultra-lucidity or super-wakefulness when out of body. This suggests to me there is a more real reality out there.

Also while out of body, I have experienced realities that our futuristic, which really makes me wonder if this reality is being simulated by our future selves. In these realities I am with other human-like beings that I know well in that reality, though I have never met them in this reality, and I perceive those other realities as being very close. Some may say, well, those are other timelines or parallel lifetimes, but I'm not convinced yet that's what the other realities are.

I remember reading about ayahuasca experiences that included seeing some computer-like screen, and I actually saw something like it during an OBE. Lastly, in the movie Nosso Lar (The Astral City), based on a book published by Brazilian channeler Chico Xavier in 1943, those who exist in the astral cities (what we would call the "deceased") use computer technology to learn about their past lifetimes and who is mourning over them.

What I am getting at is a lot of important clues may be in the metaphysical experience that we have.

Excellent clarifications and points of view.

André Luiz, the main character of the film (book) Nosso Lar, also describes a city with a suggestive architecture. A pentagram with the top five administrative ministries located at the extremities.

My internal alarm screams when loud-proclaimed authorities make themselves known.

I have no doubt that we are confined in some kind of simulation.

How many simulations or levels exist above us, I think it's an important issue.

How we came to stop here is also a question that touches me a lot.

I am not convinced that I somehow chose of free and spontaneous will and conscience, to participate in this macabre game.

According to Professor Corrado Malanga, DNA is the tool of imprisonment of the soul or anima, to the body.

Good question: Are we in a simulation within a simulation within a simulation? I watched The Astral City several times and have the book on my to-read list.

It is a freightening thought that there may be many levels of simulations "above" us. Like layers of an onion. Maybe there is a specific purpose for each simulation and each and every one of us has a specific goal. Unknown. I do feel we are here voluntarily and that we have chosen our paths consciencely. This game is indeed macabre - good word.

I am not familiar with Nosso Lar but I will make sure to check it out. Thank you for pointing that out.

Added: maybe these higher simulations are just that: an advanced version of the current simulation where you may enter once you have completed your goal(s) in the current simulation. I probably should say game because there is so much drama in our reality.

I have just watched Nosso Lar on VEOH with english subtitles. A very interesting film.

Need to think about this a little. I will now also have to find channeler Chico Xaviers work.

If anyone is interested you can find the film using Google VEOH Astral City.

    along these lines...

Monistic Idealism Creates Confidence In Your Consciousness

I've recently returned from a journey to the rain country of western Oregon where I discovered "monistic idealism." It's about to become a philosophy of choice in the consciousness revolution.

I gathered this intelligence at the Eugene home of Amit Goswami, Professor of Physics at the Institute of Theoretical Studies at the University of Oregon. I arranged this special interview because of Goswami's new book, The Self-Aware Universe: How Consciousness Creates the Material World. (Tarcher/Putnam). I wanted to meet the person who authored such a book and to make sure I was correctly understanding its many profundities.

At first glance, the book appears to be one of those "new science" books that have become so popular. It does describe quite well the basic experiments of quantum physics, the ones that produce such paradoxes as the dual identity (wave and particle) of electrons and their ability to communicate at a distance with each other instantaneously (non-locality). But rather than simply leaving us with a "Gee, whiz, isn't this incredible?" impression that the real world isn't as we assumed, Goswami boldly, yet very thoughtfully, introduces us to monistic idealism and suggests we accept it as a foundation for a new, and quite compelling, worldview.

Monistic idealism is the academically correct name given to a philosophical position that once was considered pre-scientific. It existed before the advent of what philosophers today label as materialistic dualism,. or what we might call the current official scientific world view. Materialistic dualism is the assumption that physical matter is the primary reality and that mind is separate from, but dependent upon, matter. In this view, mind is a secondary phenomena, or, to use the favored term, is an "epiphenomenon," meaning that it is some kind of separate, extra stuff that bubbles harmlessly out of brains. Monistic idealism, however, turns things around. In this position (dating back to Plato in the West, to Hinduism and Buddhism in the East), there is but one mind and it is the primary reality. Matter is an expression of mind, not separate from mind, but mind manifested materially. The worldview expressed in Edgar Cayce's psychic readings is a perfect example of monistic idealism. Cayce's formula, "Spirit is the Life, Mind is the Builder, the Material is the Result," for example, gives consciousness a very creative role in manifesting the material world.

Goswami's book basically says, "Look, if you'll adopt the viewpoint of monistic idealism, then everything--the paradoxes of quantum physics, the puzzle of individual consciousnesss and free will, the enigma of psychic abilities, the universals in spiritual teachings--everything falls into place!" His book is a journey of creative thinking, providing the most credible and complete tour of the worldview we call "The New Paradigm" that I've yet read.

One of the early warning signs of this new paradigm, which Goswami refers to as the "consciousness revolution," was Heisenberg's uncertainty principle: The observer affects the observed. The scientist looks into the microscope at nature to find nature responding to the observation. How did nature know there was a scientist looking? It takes an electron, it turns out, to know an electron. When the scientist flashes a light on atomic structures, the photons of light disrupt the atoms observed. This simplistic explanation, however, is misleading because it hides the greater truth. Goswami points out that we habitually use materialism to assume that there is a fixed material reality--independent of the observer--one that is simply rebuffed by our gaze. Reality is not fixed, however, and that is where the observing consciousness makes a difference. There is literally a quantum leap of creativity that comes into play as the observer, searching for the material electron "thing" within the etheric electronic wave activity, forces the many possibilities into a single, manifested actuality by the very act of observation The quantum leap is, according to Goswami, like an act of grace--creative, unpredictable, synchronistic and "non-local" (psychic). In talking with him, I realized that it took a quantum leap in my own imagination to fully digest all the implications of monistic idealism. It was easy to understand the ethical implication that we each have to take responsibility for our choices. Goswami emphasizes that it make a difference which ideals we live by, because they determine which potentialities in the unmanifest, quantum mind will materialize through the channel of our individual lives.

Individuality, by the way, especially in the context of a universal consciousness, becomes an intriguing question. Edgar Cayce once had a dream envisioning the mind as being like a single star with spokes radiating out to form individually functioning conscious minds. This model expresses exactly the transcendent, unitary mind assumed by monistic idealism. The spokes even anticipate Goswami's formulation as to how and why the unitary mind creates the impression of separate individual minds.

Why, if consciousness is truly unitive and singular, do we have the experience of separate minds? The brain, according to Goswami, is a measuring instrument. It collapses the non-local (a.k.a., infinite and eternal) quantum mind into concreteness and specificity as manifested through individual experience. Our individual "minds" are necessary to "realize" (make real) the material world. We are co-creators of reality, yet created ourselves to help reality become aware of itself. Goswami refers to the theory of "tangled heirarchies" (e.g., who's the I in statement, "Be Still and Know: I am God"?) and paradoxical self-referential systems (e.g., "I am a liar"--true or false?) to explain how and why, to use Cayce's terminology, souls, although designed to become companions with the creator, became trapped in materiality. And he even has a scientific explanation for how spirituality help us out of this trap.

Goswami has a big smile, a generous heart, and an enthusiasm for teaching. I asked him what one recommendation he would give to help us verify in our own experience the ideas in his book. With twinkling eyes, he answered quickly, "Meditate." It didn't require a quantum leap in consciousness for us to agree on that point.
All the above is all and only my opinion - all subject to change and not meant to be true for anyone else regardless of how I phrase it.
