Exactly! That's why I wonder if DW is highlighting the obviousness of the ploy.
No doubt he has also been threatened and is trapped, and is being forced to play along, but he may also be doing his best to subtly help show how ridiculous the whole thing is.
Or maybe the puppet masters in this game really just think people are that stupid (though in some cases, sadly, they are right... )
I can't say, as I haven't had the stomach to watch much, but that's just what occurred to me.

Yes, my thinking is similar. The first instinct with that footage was Wilcock finally saw a way out. And he’s creating subtle opportunities for Corey to hang himself.

I wonder if the reason why we don’t hear Wilcock's side is because he’s under contract, or he’s too overwhelmed to know how to back out of the pathetic Corey-game and/or there are life threatening influences.

Many years ago, in 2009, David strongly advised Kerry Cassidy and myself that when under attack on the internet, by far the best thing to do is to totally ignore it. Or else, you're just pouring gas on the fire the other guy started.

I heeded that, applied it, and learned that that's exactly the right thing to do 95% of the time. I'm sure David has recently been doing just the same thing, as per his own good counsel.

But it's the last 5% that's the killer. Just sometimes, a well-planned response is necessary.

Yet he has made enough money to now buy a house in Boulder CO. What is wrong with this picture?

This is me. Corey's story about recognizing the connection between the Schriever protest and what he was told back in November was delivered to me well prior to my independent decision to make the video on DJ's past. His recent posting of my Schriever video likely happened now because I sent him a link to my Youtube channel on the same day I posted the DJ video, and he probably saw the protest video for the first time on Saturday. That's how I interpreted it at least. And I don't make money from my Youtube channel, all of my local disclosure activism in Colorado Springs is totally on the side also. I am open to suggestions as to how to make more money doing this kind of thing.

Some parts of the research came in from a few others at different times and I put some of that together also.)

I feel like the accusations of people in this field making good money is getting so cliche that we should at some point start seeing through it a little more. Where is this money Corey supposedly has coming from? He is still struggling just like everyone. As far as I can tell, no one on Corey's team is getting paid except for specific expenses related to specific projects and sometimes that includes travel, and that comes often just from donations, in a bucket of funds reserved for such purposes. I don't know all the details though, I can't speak for Corey, it just seems all really up front to me. We HOPE this financial situation could change, we hope to do more crowdfunding, and we hope to launch projects. It is true that Corey sometimes gets large donations, but they are often earmarked (like Hawaii vacation, nice home for a year, etc.) I am not sure if/when Corey is or will be able to move out of Texas, they would prefer to move to a "higher vibration" area though.

I first saw this kind of crazy focus on imaginary money in 2006 when I started following Steven Greer closely, and saw it clearly later closer to 2012 when I realized how David Wilcock was being unusually targeted by disinfo types. Do people think Gaia really pays that well, or perhaps niche topic book sales? Where is this money coming from? I stuck a personal patreon donate link in that latest video for the first time out of curiosity, nothing has come in.

There is a hope that more money can come in through projects, and then that money used to support more projects. At this point, there is no money to spread around. I just realized I'm sort of procrastinating by writing this and need to get back to work for my paying clients LOL. TY for the reminder.

My comment:

A mixed bag: infighting between witnesses (Corey vs. Ileana), who have different viewpoints.

The point here isn't really Ileana's unverifiable personal story. It may more be the hypocrisy of someone who's been promoting 'unity', and who feels they've kind of trademarked 'the truth'.

It's a clue (but only a clue) that at least sometimes, these people (e.g. Corey) can get very triggered by factors they may not be consciously aware of, when some kind of 'competition' appears.

Mike, I wonder if you knew that Corey seriously upset the Contact In The Desert organizers this May by insisting that his speaking fee was doubled at the very last moment. They caved in to the demand, but have not forgotten what happened.

And, possibly related (but maybe not), David Wilcock as long ago as 2009 declined to speak at any conference for a fee of less than $5,000. That's a fact I know at first hand. (What he charges now, I do not know.)

Most people don't make a bean in this field. I know you don't, and I believe and respect that. (Neither do I, btw: As you're probably aware, I've always refused to monetize any of my work, and rely on donations only.)

But Corey was never earning a 'high six figure income'. Please see this post, with documents showing that in Aug 2012 he was taken to court by his bank for failing to meet credit card payments, and three months later (Oct 2012) he was nearly evicted for being unable to pay his rent.

As I commented, this is not a hanging offense, for even the best of us can hit financial roadbumps like that. The point is that people with 'high six figure incomes' don't usually have that kind of thing happening to them — and that this is more evidence that Corey lies or embellishes, regularly, in order to create the image he wants to be perceived. (And, he really does.)

Part of that valuation (an assumption of mine) may be based upon what might be part of their business model (another assumption of mine) which emulates what I observed long ago in the rock and roll concert business where groupies would be recruited to play support roles for concert events where their "pay" was to get back stage passes, even get a few minutes with some of the "rock stars" and sometimes get invited to the pretty wild "after concert" parties. I am speaking of the 70s here and as to my own experiences.

The problem with this is for folks like you who probably should get paid for their efforts as you do bona fide real work. I feel this is also the case for Annette O'Toole. From the interview DJ did with Annette, Annette makes the case that she finally reached the point where she realized she had been used and her partners were cutting her out. Yet in your case, if all you are doing is on a volunteer basis, is there any "red line" that might be crossed by Corey and/or his other support team where you might see you have become involved in something that is not what you originally thought it to be? And if so, would you stop providing free webmaster services?

And on the other hand, if you were getting paid and you observed what, for you, would be "the crossing of red lines" would you still retain Goode and crew as clients?

I have a good friend who works for the same company that produces that show. People have no concept what kind of money is to be made in Hollywood television.

My friend worked on the show Oak Island which is the same production company as Ancient Aliens. My late son used to have his own business as well as be a union member and has worked on many films. Many I'm sure you've watched. He also had his own business seting up and produce lighting for these events like Contact in the Desert and Music festivals of all kinds.

Allow me to show you something about pay scale.

One day they needed a kid to do a small part because the real actor kid who was supposed to do a very bit part got too nervous...he was supposed to work with Britney Spears. Mind you it was a "bit part"...it was supposed to also be a speaking part. My son who did the lighting for that movie got his little brother to do the part...and he was so excited because he thought he would finally get to buy that XBox he wanted so badly and I told him he needed to earn.

So..off we go to the set. Parent have to be there with their kids on set. When we got there they took away his speaking part which cut his money for this VERY SMALL BIT PART to $275.00 which was not enough for the XBox. I caved and fronted him the rest.

With all due respect, if Corey was earning some good coin I don't trust that you'd know. The problem isn't making money, the problem is when you're making money on a big fat lie, it's called scamming.

A conference invited speaker for motivational talks rarely does below 2 000 (2 and three zeros) for 60 minutes. At 2 000 they are the not well known ones. Renown ones are five thousand and more. In Canada. Double this in USA. A Cornell professor I had invited in Montreal was charging ten thousand USD all expenses paid for 90 minutes talk for a small audience specialised in call Centers -20years ago.

Add to this that I have personnally been the target of some of his lies, having been made aware of it years later. It sucks, because I have never spoken to the guy, never wrote to him, barely wrote on his threads and have never had a hint of a reply. Yet he would spread lies on me.

I was not aware of the viewpoints of the CITD organizers, I was aware only of strained "negotiations" taking place over a longer period of time to get more money, and merely assumed David Wilcock may have had some role in convincing him of how much he was worth at CITD, as I suspected David had experience and recommendations in that area. Corey certainly would seem to have numbers to demonstrate popularity. I also heard Corey express a sense of relief when he did finally get paid after the event.

I would expect Corey to get paid well for speaking and use that to help his family first. I would not expect him to be able to buy a house in Boulder with it.

I had not heard the $100 per episode number or any other specific numbers relating to David Wilcock's finances. David is not involved in Corey's projects except you could say as a friend to Corey. I agree the $100 number would be difficult to believe unless it was something like reruns.

I could say that in the tech areas I am involved, I can very easily make over $100 per hour on various projects, but have difficulty keeping that up consistently, especially with everything else I am involved in, and so I always hit highs and lows in my financial situation and have always carried debt.

I can say that when I met with the Gaia CEO, he expressed that they had significant money for their content but also shared (over the course of a 2 hour discussion) a large number of rules and limitations on how Gaia is willing to spend money, and where they will focus their efforts. His business acumen was noted well in this 1995 article as a "1995 Entrepreneur of the Year runner-up" https://www.inc.com/magazine/19951201/2511.html

You will see he is not someone who throws money around very easily, and is more likely to cut things dramatically (which is why Gaiam is totally sold off now) and play the business world games very strategically.

My red lines, whether paid or unpaid, relate to assisting ET disclosure and greater consciousness shifts. If I feel that Corey is not the right person to work with because he is not helping move consciousness upward, obviously I can switch to work on whatever projects I want. The project that I most recently started on my own is called the New Earth Network, which is my attempt to assist the "unity in the community" idea, as a kind of mix between Meetup and Craigslist, but much remains to be done still here, such as mobile apps, which is a technical area I am transitioning to much more now.

I have been feeling spread thin lately with many other projects also, but I know that I am getting better at everything along the way, and suddenly more people are noticing me. I hope to use any attention received to help suggest finding a way to agree to disagree and heal more of the forms of divisions of beliefs without anyone needing to be "taken down" or anything like that. Sometimes it sounds like this is almost the equivalent of telling fundamentalist Christians that sinners are going to be reincarnated and are not going to hell, while they feel that that this suggestion is like a demonic trick to send still more people to hell, so how terrible must it be to let them persist in their deceived beliefs? But perhaps through this strain, we can burn more through our own personal karma and be brought to the realization that only through forgiveness, no matter how irrational it may seem, will the wounds start to heal, and will people of other beliefs feel they can enter into a peaceful dialogue. I really believe this division is still more about our hearts than our minds right now, as people of very different beliefs are not listening to each other very well.

In your first video about Daniel Liszt you said that others would be making further videos, I got the impression it wouldn't be yourself, that you didn't intend to make any more videos on Daniel.

Myself, Corey and others did want to see the findings released in some form, but no one else with access to the report that I created had felt inspired to make a video around it yet. I realized as I was making the video why I needed to be the one to make it, I just had more information in my head that allowed me to put together more pieces into the video, and to do so in a more gentle manner. I mainly didn't want to make the video because I'd rather be doing something more productive, and not having to delete a surprising number of ugly insults in the comments, but as there is a lot of attention on the Dark Journalist I figured it did make logical sense to get it out there and I can learn to develop a thicker skin to the trolls.

Some people in the comments want me to address DJ's latest arguments more, and I could do that with more videos, a part of me feels that would be appropriate. I want to see if others do the job first and how that goes. I am not sure if this would be wasted energy either. I also want to wait to see if my video gets taken down by YouTube again over Daniel's "privacy" complaint. I would be willing to experiment with the YouTube staff to see how far they'll go to cater to Daniel's sensitivity.

Well that's quite a commitment for someone who was just teasing, who was just showing viewers how silly and flimsy Daniel's work is. Of course Corey has ran with it, leaving directives in the comment section to share it, treating it far more seriously than you portrayed it in the video. Am I to beleive you were unaware of Corey's take on it? Corey must love you, the innocent nerd poking fun at Daniel while he gets to use it against Daniel without getting his hands dirty.
