Certainly sounds like multiple shooters, but I also don't think it sounds a 240b based on the rate of fire; that sounds like it could easily be an AR-15 at high fire rates (a bit faster than a 240b, which tops out at 600 RPM (rounds per min); M16's can hit 900+ RPM)

You could be right, but if you listen to the shots at about 2:20 it is a lower rate of fire and a more muffled sound like a heavy machine gun, M60 maybe even.

Where are the 1000's of real people who had the most bizarre and traumatic event of their lives who constantly share much less significant stuff all the time?

Well I will take a guess here.

It might be because it was the most bizarre and traumatic event in their lives, and for a short time they were pulled into the present moment where they were more concerned with their surroundings and what was going on then they were about their phones. I'm guessing here, but I think that I would be more concerned about not getting shot then documenting what was going on. Actually that would be the last thing I would be thinking about.

After further review, it seems YouTube maybe censoring videos of the incident, imagine that.

True, but I mean before and after too. A lot more are always now filming during a concert and should have caught the start and a bit after, a lot more would have filmed their wounded buddy in any er, a lot more would be expected to have posted some aftermath report - and there is nearly NOTHING privately posted on YT.

I have a question, or more of a request, and it is probably really geared to the moderators or anyone else with the capability to download video from youtube: please, please could as many of you as possible download and make available to the forum critical video, audio, and make it available here for download. I would appreciate that hugely for sure. I would certainly want to obtain for my own research purposes the Bellagio footage, the LV taxi driver footage, and there would be others for sure. Maybe a repository on the forum, provided there is the capacity to do this. This is a very very important event to have absolutely a resource for, somewhere, in one place.

If anyone can help then I'd thank them hugely. (Or PM me, with link downloads, or via We Transfer). Thanks.

Not only that, the likelihood that this massacre was performed by one person is preposterous on the face of it, and even more absurd when you understand how far the Mandalay really is from the concert venue.
