"BRIGHT" a new Netflix show about Middle Age Myth creatures in modern society

Speaking of drama on NetFlix I wonder has anyone else been watching the 'Black Mirror' series - I am very impressed with this because we have some genuinely great writing, imaginative, certainly, but the level of social understanding and technological implementation is impressive. A lot of the stories are British, but also some American, they truly are a 'Black Mirror' and anticipate our world just a decade or two down the line, some incredible insight into social media usage, and security robot 'Dogs' which are chilling. The cloned consciousness idea for running your 'smart house' with a copy of your own mind is also deeply disturbing. Twilight Zone for the 2000's, worthwhile if you have not taken a look. My favorite is 'Sanjunepiro' where old people and terminally ill are uploaded into 'The Cloud' in a reality which is very real, the ending is extremely poignant.

I did watch the whole serie (4 seasons) just for a while ago and enjoyed them alot - stories are different in every episode, few quite scary ones, mostly very well written (short - about an hour) in unexpected topics. Recommended if you like a good story just for entertainment when you have trouble to sleep.

Yes, but I would say they are much higher quality stories than is usually offered on public media-to me they represent some significant insights, it does not diminish us to extend praise where it is merited.

I agree with you, they are surpricingly good stories shown in a tv-serie. They tickle your fantacy. Rise your hope for better things to come. Scare the s-word out of you sometimes. But still, I appreciate those stories för the entertainment value.
A better choise for the mind numbing junk out there they are dumming us down with.
And maybe there is a lesson/warning about how bad things may turn out if we are not carefull enough with the technology in use and in development today . . .
