I took part in the #ReleaseTheMemo campaign last night and this morning I get this shutdown! Fancy little old me making such a difference that they are scared of me!! HOW FUNNY!!

My account is still active. But I have seen that some #ReleaseTheMemo retweeters have received notifications of limited access. This exercise has confirmed for me, without a shadow of a doubt, that Twitter is connected to the Deep State. I'll send some retweets out in your honor tonight, Callista.

The US government shut down at midnight Friday, the 18th such event in modern US history. RT takes a look at previous instances of congressional stalemate that brought the country to a standstill.

A shutdown occurs when Congress can’t agree on a spending bill. It results in the temporary suspension of “non-essential” civil services.

2013 Obamacare
The last government shutdown took place during Obama’s presidency in 2013 and lasted two weeks – more than 800,000 federal employees were furloughed during this period.

The shutdown happened when legislators couldn’t resolve a bitter budget standoff over Obama’s health care law.

They actually did it. A group of Republicans in the House just forced a government shutdown over Obamacare instead of passing a real budget.

1995 – 1996 Clinton’s double shutdown
Bill Clinton oversaw two government shutdowns within the space of weeks in 1995. The first deadlock occurred in November after Clinton vetoed spending legislation passed by the Republican-controlled Congress. Funding elapsed for five days and about 800,000 employees were furloughed.

In December, continued disputes over funding levels for the Medicare health insurance program for the elderly and other issues resulted in a second lapse in government funding for 21 days. Some 280,000 workers were furloughed until a resolution was met on January 6 1996.

1990 George H.W. Bush
A three-day shutdown took place beginning October 5 1990 when George H.W. Bush pledged to veto any continuing resolution that did not involve a plan to reduce the deficit.
The House tried to override his veto and failed, forcing a weekend shutdown.

1980s Reagan’s series of shutdowns
Ronald Reagan set a record of shutdowns which still stands, clocking up eight between 1981 and 1987. These all lasted between one and three days.

The 1981 shutdown was the first time a funding gap resulted in a severe reduction in government operations – furloughing 241,000 federal workers.

The first recorded shutdown took place during Gerald Ford’s presidency in 1976 on the back of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974.

It wasn’t until a set of opinions issued by Attorney General Benjamin Civiletti in 1980 and 1981, however, that the shutdowns actually entailed a halt to the functioning of the government.

Yesterday and today, a few MSN outlets are reporting that the US military is taking "steps to move heavy firepower" in the North Korea area. How do these two sets of actions connect? Maybe they don't, but I'm thinking they do, if the MSM reports are accurate.

MSM claims RUSSIAN BOTS are why there are so many requests for the FISA memo to be released!!! Oh my God, I am so sick of the Russia crap. Ok, let me back up here a bit and explain what the Fisa memo is (in case there is someone out there that does not know).

During the election, the Democrats and other assorted filth misused America's intelligence agencies to gather information on Trump so they could strategize how to destroy him. That's far, far worse than Watergate. The Fisa memo is deep and complete and will put Obama, Hillary, and the rest of the gang in prison.

Republicans in Congress have read it. But when it was put in front of the dems, they would not even open it, every last one of them left it closed on the desk in front of them and did not read it AT ALL. Because they know it is the end of them.

Ok, so to stall action against themselves which would use Federal powers to round them up and imprison them, they shut down the government with the last little bit of life they had left, and now, for some reason, because of the way they did it, the portion of the federal law enforcement that could round them up cannot go to work to do it!

BUT WAIT: It gets even better!

After pushing a b.s. story line on Trump all through the election and his presidency, about him "colluding with Russians", the MSM is now saying only Russia is interested in the Fisa memo, the American people don't care if it is declassified and released to the public, and that it only trended hugely on Twitter yesterday (and was subsequently shut down) BECAUSE RUSSIANS RAN BOTS THAT ARTIFICIALLY INFLATED THE PRESENSE OF IT ON TWITTER!!!!

I kid you not. They actually said that!

Never mind the fact that ALL house Republicans demanded it be declassified and released to the American public after they read it. It was THEIR COMMENTS on Twitter that fed a genuine grass roots storm on Twitter by the American people to get it released, and the response from Twitter employees was: "this is not real, it is Russian bots, so we'll shut it down!". The MSM then followed suit, claiming it was Russian bots, and not genuine outrage from the American people.

Russians here, Russians there, RUSSIANS RUSSIANS EVERYWHERE. Russians in my coffee, outside my window, under my bed, and in my FROOT LOOPS.

And do you know what this means? It means the reality of it is that it is RUSSIA that is trying to destroy Trump, with operatives in the U.S. government fronting as Democrats, who are using a political ploy called "displacement" where they take every last crime they are committing and project it on others to hide the fact that it is THEY THEMSELVES WHO ARE DOING IT.

Maybe Putin is OK, maybe he's not, but one thing is certain - it is cold war Bolshevik Communists (and whoever they can sucker) pushing the Russia crap and NO ONE ELSE.
