Peter Thiel tells Google Chairman:
"You have NO IDEA what you're doing"

Peter Thiel: Google is a great company. It has 30,000 people, 20,000, or whatever the number. They have pretty safe jobs.

On the other hand, Google has 30-40-50 billion in cash. It has no idea how to invest that money in technology effectively. And so, it prefers getting zero percent interest from Mr. Bernanke.

Effectively, the cash sort of gets burned away over time through inflation, because there are no ideas that Google has on how to spend their money.

Eric Schmidt: The core problem that we going foward is that there are two forces that are going to govern much of what's going to happen in the future:
The first is globalization, which we're not going to repeal.
And the second one is automation, which we're not going to repeal.
And if you look, these problems are utimately cast in political systems in the West, and I think, eventually, globally as jobs problems. And the solution to jobs problems, in my view, is education... education at many levels, in many different ways, that we can discuss.

I don't see another solution to this. It's absolutely true, as Peter says, that these gems, if you will, and you were nice enough to describe them so well, they're not employing enough people....

Peter Thiel:
You have $50 billion, Google, why don't you spend it on doing more in tech? Or, are you out of ideas?

And, I think Google does more than most companies. You're trying to do things with self-driving cars, supposedly with asteroid mining... or maybe, that's just part of the propaganda ministry. And, you're doing more than Microsoft or Apple or alot of these other companies.

Amazon is the only one of the big tech companies that's actually re-investing all its money - it has enough of a vision of the future - that they're actually able to re-invest all their profits.

If we're living in an excelerating technological world, and you have 0% interest rates in the background, you should be able to invest all of your money in things that will return it many times over. And the fact that you're out of ideas... maybe, its a political problem - the government outlawed things - but its still a problem.

Moderator:
I'm going to the audience very soon, but I want you to have an opportunity to address....

Eric Schmidt: I think I'll just let his statement stand.

Trump Blasts Sessions "Disgraceful" Investigation Into FISA Abuses

After a months-long detente between President Trump and his attorney general, former Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions, it appears tensions between the two men are flaring up once again.

Why is A.G. Jeff Sessions asking the Inspector General to investigate potentially massive FISA abuse. Will take forever, has no prosecutorial power and already late with reports on Comey etc. Isn’t the I.G. an Obama guy? Why not use Justice Department lawyers? DISGRACEFUL!

Quote JohninMK DillyDilly Wed, 02/28/2018 - 15:12 Permalink

If political criminals are to be indited then Trump can't afford for the AG to be seen as in any way political and under his control.

All this could just be Trump putting some blue water between himself and his AG.

I hope.

Nunes WARNS: ‘Slew of subpoenas’ coming for State Dept. regarding BOGUS anti-Trump dossier
• House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes warns that there is a “slew of subpoenas” coming for current and former State Department officials regarding the unverified “Russia dossier” the panel says was improperly used to obtain a FISA court surveillance warrant to spy on the president’s campaign.
Former and current officials will be “hauled into Congress” next week to “answer publicly” questions about the “salacious and unverified” anti-Trump dossier written by former British spy Christopher Steele as opposition research for the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee,
• “A week ago we sent a letter with a questionnaire to high-ranking former Obama and current Trump officials, asking them 10 questions about when they knew about the dossier, when they knew the dossier was used, when they knew the dossier was used to get a warrant to spy on an American — all questions that the public has a right to know and that the Congress definitely has a right to know,” Nunes, R-Calif., told the host.
“They have ’til Friday to respond to this questionnaire. And what’s alarming the mainstream media — is not reporting on this questionnaire,”

Syrian rebels started new offensives during ceasefire: Russia
• Russia’s military said Tuesday that rebels in Syria’s eastern Ghouta started new offensives after midday, during a five-hour ceasefire, Interfax news agency reported citing a Russian general.
• “The actions were accompanied by intensive artillery and gun fire,” Interfax quoted Yuri Yevtushenko, the head of the Russian reconciliation center in Syria, as saying. Russia unilaterally declared a ceasefire Tuesday for 9am – 2pm.

Lavrov: Ceasefire in Syria does not include terrorist groups
• Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the ceasefire agreement in Syria does not include terrorist organisations like Jabhat An-Nusra, its partners Ahrar Al-Sham and Jaysh Al- Islam.
• Speaking yesterday, Lavrov told reporters that “the cessation of hostilities does not in any way include operations carried out by the Syrian government with the support from Russia against all terrorist organisations like Daesh and Jabhat An-Nusra and those who cooperate with them.”

NSA Chief Asked About U.S. Response to Possible Cyberattack on Financial System
• How would the nation respond to a cyberattack on its financial system, Sen. Angus King (I-Maine) asked the head of the National Security Agency on Tuesday.
• Admiral Michael Rogers, who also serves as head of the U.S. Cyber Command, was testifying before the Senate Armed Services Committee.
• Sen. King asked him: “What would happen today if you, on your way back to your office, got a call that said the U.S. financial system has been taken down; all the computers on Wall Street are off; the markets are in chaos…What would be the execution, who’s in charge — what would the results be?”

VIDEO LINK: https://www.mrctv.org/videos/nsa-chi...nancial-system
• “So DHS would have overall responsibility for the provision of federal support in response to this,” Rogers responded. “My role would be help to make sure I understand, number one, who is the actor. So can we identify who did this, because if I’m going to respond, I have to know who I’m responding to, or what I’m responding to.
• “So one of my first questions as Cyber Command(er) would be, let’s make sure we understand what’s the characterization of the activity, who’s the actor, what did they do,” Rogers said.
• King interrupted: “Who would take the lead? Who’s in charge?”Rogers said the Department of Homeland Security would have “overall responsibility.”
• Sen. King asked Rogers if the scenario has been “war-gamed,” or rehearsed.
• “Yes, sir,” Rogers replied. “We’ve actually undertaken some very good table-tops, specifically, as I reached out to DHS, the financial sector — ‘Look, we have got to get down to execution level, we’re a team.'”

• Google’s actions in the wake of the this tragedy are not a surprise given the company’s known political stances if it backfires, they can easily claim it was the mistake of some unaccountable department with nameless employees. If it wins, they claim victory. It almost looks strategic.

Gun-Grabbers Vs Patriots – Backlash Hits YouTube, NRA Boycott Companies And President Trump, Showing Americans Stand Behind The Constitution
• President Trump is receiving for his comments during the bipartisan meeting held on Wednesday regarding school safety, where he suggested “take the guns first, go through due process second,” to which he is already starting to walk-back that comment after seeing the collective uproar online from Second Amendment supporters.‘SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED’“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” – Second Amendment. His controversial statement began with “I don’t want mentally ill people to be having guns,” then he continued:
• You have to do something very decisive. Number one, you can take the guns away immediately from people that you can adjudge easily are mentally ill, like this guy. You know, the police saw that he was a problem, they didn’t take any guns away. Now, that could have been policing. I think they should have taken them away anyway, whether they had the right or not. But I’ll tell you this, you have to have very strong provisions for the mentally ill.
• Then after VP Mike Pence spoke of due process, President Trump went off the rails in one of the most boneheaded statements he has ever made, when he said “Or, Mike, take the firearms first, and then go to court. Because that’s another system, because a lot of times, by the time you go to court, it takes so long to go to court to get the due process procedures, I like taking the guns early, like in this crazy man’s case that just took place in Florida. … To go to court would have taken a long time. So you could do exactly what you’re saying, but take the guns first, go through due process second.“

I have Trump's Twitter account on Bookmark, his tweets are public, so you don't have to join Twitter to read them. (This way you don't have to deal with all the nonsense on Twitter, as well.)

I've been wondering about that quote, as well. I haven't seen it in a Tweet. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump

Don't know where the source of the quote comes from? Does anyone else?

Will say this though, "Some people hate Trump so much that they will do the exact opposite of what he says, for no other reason than out of hate and spite."

Reverse psychology can be an effective tool. (Don't know if this is the case here, though.)

Hi Helene... I do admire that you are very adamant with your being a hardened skeptic. That being said, I will repost (Post #2455) a message I had posted for PA member Praxis to read from the Qanon thread... It was a response to Praxis... who is a hardened skeptic, like you, like me, too!

I will include the more complete post that Praxis had written.
I want to just briefly reply to Praxis over his Post #2443... while still remaining within the bounds of being "on topic." It kind of explains why a Q Anon had to be created...

Praxis made the following posted message:

Do you really not see the irony here.

First, it is interesting to me that many of the super trump supporters arent actually americans.

Literally, the person who has DIRECT control over the military apparatus that is STILL doing the PNAC agenda is Trump.

Where exactly in his State of the Union did he say he was countering the PNAC agenda? Oh that is right, he didnt.

In fact, he is doing it harder and more than before.
He changed the rules of engagement for active theaters.
He removed the one good thing Obama did of rescinding the order to close Guantanamo bay.

He will be sending more people to that despicable place.

We are now occupying a third country, Syria, and if Nikki Haley has her way we will invade Iran soon.

Trump is not powerless. Literally is Commander in Chief.

Lets repeat that in case you maybe werent aware.

Trump is literally the Commander in Chief of the United States Military. The whole military.
Trump is literally the CEO of the NSC and literally in charge of ALL of the Intelligence community.

You people want this so bad you cant even see it.

Consider the double think required here;

He is playing 14d chess, yet bumbles over words and when he goes off script it is painfully obvious.
He is the alpha male, yet is literally powerless because that dastardly deep state.
He has the backing of the white hats/patriots, yet he is powerless to stop the neo con agenda.
He just needs time Praxis you will see, yeah just like the time he gave to the CIA to hide the JFK files.

Tommy the Trump; the little president that couldnt quite but almost just give him time guys.

I assume since no actually ever addresses my policy concerns that:

You support keeping Gauntanamo Bay open
You support the of enhanced interrogation techniques they are deciding on right now(and trump has said publicly he is pro torture)
You support the Global war on Terror(which as per the SOTU we are ramping up)
You support the the occupations of Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria.
You support the CIA(just like trump said he did on his first speech to anyone as president at CIA HQ. Oh but im sure he was only talking to the white hats right guys! Those same white hats that have literally zero power to help him as per the video linked saying he is powerless)
Praxis, I do, in fact, admire your persistent skepticism when it comes to your understanding of what is really going on with Trump. I know its confusing, especially when we've all been conditioned over these so many years into believing that things will never change. The Illuminati, the cabal, the Deep State, the globalists, the elites or somebody at the apex of the pyramid, or other, is in control over us & will always be in control...

Yes, this is also a kind of brainwashing. And it may be in your best interest to consider purging this from your own psyche. I've made this suggestion to several others that have had the tendency to doubt what they are seeing taking place on the geo-political scene with Donald Trump.

But, I have to say, its your persistence in being a skeptic that is really important quality to have. I also am an adamant skeptic. It is really an essential part that is needed for where we are all moving towards - a balanced harmonic synthesis. It is only through persistent doubting, taking doubt to its extreme point, that a real trust can arise from out of its ashes.

You may be familiar with the politics thread I started back in May of 2016. It's called the Transition into Trump thread.

When Trump finally came to beat Hillary Clinton & won the election, Bill Ryan decided to move the thread out of the category of politics & move it into an entirely different category of threads. Figuring the election was all over, Bill made a slight modification to the name & moved the newly named Transitioned into Trump thread into the category of the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election.

Here's Bill's Post #217 link from the RECORD of MODERATOR ACTIONS thread:

I was a little taken aback by this sudden move because in my own mind & as to the way that I saw it, the 'Transition into Trump' had only just begun. I thought it was a bit too premature to be done with the thread altogether. Sure, Trump won the election, he won the battle for the presidential election. But, to me, it was not the end by any means, but only the beginning for this period of 'transitioning'. The battle for presidency had been won, but the war with the Deep State was just getting started.

So, I went to Bill & asked if he could see placing the thread back into the category of 'politics'? For the reason being because the Transition into Trump is still ongoing. It will probably be going on for the next 7 years, or more, and the chances are that the transition will still be going long after Trump's second term in office has come to a close. In a way, it could be said that the transition will never end. The transition will forever be ongoing. (Not to worry, Bill, the thread will finish itself at the appropriate time. )

Literally, the person who has DIRECT control over the military apparatus that is STILL doing the PNAC agenda is Trump....

Where exactly in his State of the Union did he say he was countering the PNAC agenda? Oh that is right, he didnt.
Obviously, from what you've written, Praxis, you must think that Trump, being president, is in total control of every aspect of government. No. I'm sorry to say. He is still far from it. The Deep State has lodged itself, like a cancer, within all aspects of government.

You may be interested what I wrote back on 27-June 2017... From another thread I started ==> Trump: The Great American Reset, from Post #616, I posted the following reply to another forum member:
Quote Yes, I know its quite a confusing situation that is going on at the moment...

It is my opinion that Trump has come to understand that he has to be a bit deceptive when it comes to dealing with the neocons / neocrats in Congress and those that are a part of the cabal that are not elected - namely, the traitorous Deep-State bureaucrats, the banksters & the Obama left-overs, as well as the MSM propaganda machine. This is what Trump is up against. It is my opinion that he is playing a masterful game of chess with all these factions that he is up against.

The unfortunate part of this is that we, as in 'We the People' are kept out of the loop, as well. We are left to try to figure this out for ourselves, as we cannot rely on the Fake News apparatus to tell us anything factual... We can only trust that whatever is being told is fake, phony & false... regarding the state of the U.S. & in world affairs... (Emphasis added.)
With that being said, and with Trump understanding that his supporters also have to be "kept out of the loop", in other words, left out of knowing what is actually taking place behind the scenes... It is now quite understandable why a Q Anon had to be created.

Q Anon was created as a way for Trump supporters to be also "included within the loop" so as to find out what is actually taking place behind the scenes, to be told in a cryptic type of fashion what is really going on. I believe it to be quite a masterful move to play on the Deep State (speaking in regards to your noted statement):
Quote He is playing 14d chess...
Q Anon, imo, was absolutely essential so that people can find out what is taking place.

Anyway, hope that you have a chance to read this in near future...

Hi turiya

Yes, I remember quite a bit of what you posted in response to Praxis. It's true we are both skeptics but for different reasons.
He's coming from what appears to me to be a progressive automatic reflex hatred of the individual Trump. I'm coming from a sadness and dread of the depth/breath reach of the one-world-government owners of the west.

I understand what you have tried to convey several times on the forum, the need for deception on the part of the pres in dealing with all the saboteurs. Understanding any more won't make me relax. When I finally see some guilty get what they deserve and the cessation of the moves against our bill of rights which is only increasing, then I'll relax. I appreciate all your work and hope I'm not being too big of a pain in the butt. Until I see what I personally need to see - Enguarde!

he has his own website and we can go there through that. and if he uses alternatives like GAB or periscope and crowdsourcing he may be ok, a rocky transition but ok.

How does a supposed news agency like CNN get away with influencing the sponsors of other businesses? How is this allowed? Is this what news agencies normally do or is it what intelligence agencies as part of their disinformation projects do? but that is too subtle for so many americans. I have trump haters in my own family that will be rooting ciann on....

Political/Rights
Contradictions In Seth Rich Murder Continue To Challenge Hacking Narrative
• As rumors swirl that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is preparing a case against Russians who are alleged to have hacked Democrats during the 2016 election – a conclusion based solely on the analysis of cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike, Why haven’t Congressional Investigators or Special Counsel Robert Mueller addressed the murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich – who multiple people have claimed was Wikileaks’ source of emails leaked during the 2016 U.S. presidential election?
• Mueller has been incredibly thorough in his ongoing investigations – however he won’t even respond to Kim Dotcom, the New Zealand entrepreneur who clearly knew about the hacked emails long before they were released, claims that Seth Rich obtained them with a memory stick, and has offered to provide proof to the Special Counsel investigation.
• On May 18, 2017, Dotcom proposed that if Congress includes the Seth Rich investigation in their Russia probe, he would provide written testimony with evidence that Seth Rich was WikiLeaks’ source.
• In addition to several odd facts surrounding Rich’s still unsolved murder – which officials have deemed a “botched robbery,” forensic technical evidence has emerged which contradicts the Crowdstrike report. The Irvine, CA company partially funded by Google, was the only entity allowed to analyze the DNC servers in relation to claims of election hacking:
• Notably, Crowdstrike has been considered by many to be discredited over their revision and retraction of a report over Russian hacking of Ukrainian military equipment – a report which the government of Ukraine said was fake news.
• Pay attention, because Mueller is likely to use the Crowdstrike report to support the rumored upcoming charges against Russian hackers.
• Also notable is that Crowdstrike founder and anti-Putin Russian expat Dimitri Alperovitch sits on the Atlantic Council – which is funded by the US State Department, NATO, Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukranian Oligarch Victor Pinchuk. Who else is on the Atlantic Council? Evelyn Farkas – who slipped up during an MSNBC interview with Mika Brzezinski and disclosed that the Obama administration had been spying on the Trump campaign:
The Trump folks, if they found out how we knew what we knew about the Trump staff dealing with Russians, that they would try to compromise those sources and methods, meaning we would not longer have access to that intelligence. –Evelyn Farkas

Default Re: Transition into Trump

I have read the constitution. I have read it recently. In fact I regularly go re read from time to time just to really get it in there. My B.A. is in political science. I literally have a degree in politics. My masters is in English so I understand words, at least English ones.

Now lets keep this simple.

Under the AuMF of 2001 which is still in effect, the President is directly in control of the Military Forces in an active way and is able to deploy them, as we have seen in Syria, Mali, and other places, at his discretion

Of course, he gets advice on what to do from the National Security Council, which includes the Joints Chiefs of Staff, but the decision rest with him and him alone. This is what COMMANDER IN CHIEF means.

Fun fact, did you know that the JCS do not have any command authority in their position as JCS? They can not give any orders to any part of the Military upon taking the role.

"Following the Goldwater–Nichols Act in 1986, the Joint Chiefs of Staff do not have operational command authority, either individually or collectively, as the chain of command goes from the President to the Secretary of Defense, and from the Secretary of Defense to the Commanders of the Combatant Commands.[7] Goldwater–Nichols also created the office of Vice Chairman, and the Chairman is now designated as the principal military adviser to the Secretary of Defense, the Homeland Security Council, the National Security Council and the President.[8]"

This also means he can withdraw at entirely his own discretion.

Recently Trump stated the invasion of Iraq was a mistake. I absolutely agree. How long are we going to continue this mistake?

The purpose of invading Afghanistan was to capture or kill OBL. He is dead. Why are we in Afghanistan?

Now we are in Syria, an Obama era policy BTW because of the supposed gas attacks. Why are we there?

Now again, under the AuMF the president can deploy or withdraw troops at his discretion. This is a key point. The JCS and the deep state would be pissed if he left all those occupations and the MSM would go nutz and call him all sorts of things like terrorist sympathizer or whatever but he could do it if he wanted to.

My biggest concern has been and will continue to be the Military empire that has been being built by the deep state since the USS Maine. Smedley Butler talked about it. This is not new.

The current occupations are a continuation of this. General Wesley Clark stated this about the countries the cabal wanted to invade(although I wouldnt necessarily trust that man as he is a part of Project for National Security Reform which is a "non profit" think tank cover for the deep state operations).

The operations in Mali are part of the same problem. Those people died for what? What do we gain in Mali?

Now all those countries that Clark mentioned are in play, we are even on the road to fighting Iran.

So again, the President, using the AuMF could stop these things from progressing but IS NOT.

The only good news I have seen recently was a drawback in Iraq, even by half, but NATO man said we are there for "as long as necessary for ISIS not to re emerge". So never.
http://www.rudaw.net/english/middleeast/iraq/05032018
But hey, this is a step in the right direction. So is admitting that it was a mistake. Good on Trump for that and if he is responsible for the draw back, But it is not enough.

We should immediately withdraw from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria. Full Stop.

They are the agenda of the Fifth Branch of government and by continuing them, Trump is showing his true colors.

The president, under his constitutional authority as commander in Chief, as well as the current AuMF, could make this happen at his own discretion.

The buck stops there. He is the decider.

This is a very specific policy critique which is directly within the constitutional purview of the president.

Sincerely,
the brainwashed progressive reactionary

I highly recommend the 3/5/2018 Richard Dolan show on KGRA
