Thanks Gita and Greybeard. I am working on my distractions, the fears, the doubts. Trying to live my life NOW, not dwelling on past issues or dreaming about future events. I'm slowing learning to just be, learning to turn over everything to God. Stop fighting the whole universe and accept what is.

I've always loved the stories of Gandhi. His strength indeed fought off the whole of Britain! Dr. David Hawkin tells of his experiments with muscle testing and the calibration of various people, entities, and things. He concludes, as you do Greybeard, that one powerful Avatar (Jesus, Buddha, etc.) can offset the negative impact of thousands that are not seeing the light.

I also love how science is beginning to prove these ancient concepts about truth and being.

Gita, it's taken me decades to get over my shyness and insecurities from my teenage and young adult life. Those false feelings about myself have hindered me for many years. I am finally over coming them, to realize my magnificance as a son of God. I am special and I am to be loved. As all of us are.

    Salute!
    Dear Conk
I thank you for your honest sharing, that takes courage.

    Hi again conk
I dident have time to reply properly.
I went through what you went through for a long period of time.
I tried positive thinking, affirmations, hypnosis, the works.
They had an improving effect and were worth while but the problems remained though to a lesser degree.
I got into spirituality and after a time read "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle that was a big Ah Ha momenent.
Then along came "Power vs Force" by David Hawkins.
I was so impressed that went to America to a lectcture of his called "Living the Prayer"
Ive read most of his books, The one that made the most impact is "Discovery of the Presence of God / Devotional Duality"
You have obviously read some of his work.
There is a series of his video lectures on file sharing Torrent "The Pirate Bay"
    http://thepiratebay.org/
Well worth down loading but about 20g space.
Most of what I post is influenced by reading or listening to Hawkins.
His influence on me is profound.
Fear has gone confidence is there.
I dont follow anyone though, just the teachings from various sages all saying the same thing in various ways.
The Budaha said "Put no head above your own"
    We are all equal.
You are on the right track my friend.

Here's stuff from Neil. Science? Metaphysical Reality? You be the judge.

I'll let him know I plagarized his stuff. He's not like that. I'm sure he'll like Avalon AND Camelot

Greetings Brain Explorers and Wand Travelers~!

To celebrate spring and the completion of The Book of Wands Second Edition, I have released the 1979 Brain Lab Documentary "Lingo"
    on YouTube.

    Part 1 at http://www.youtube. com/user/ neilslade# p/u/1/TWhebdjNqM k
    Part 2 at http://www.youtube. com/user/ neilslade# p/u/0/Tnv213dJpR U
    Part 3 at http://www.youtube. com/user/ neilslade# p/u/0/JkYvWR0ryw c

This was my original introduction to Brain Self-Control and T.D. Lingo, a film which I saw on my local PBS station a few years after it was made.

I remain friends with several of the people featured in the film, such as the director, and a few of the principals in the film itself, such as the President of The Adventure Trails Survival School (Lingo's corporation) , and a couple of the students shown whom I have spoken to as recently as a couple of days ago.

I also have the brain seen in the film, given to me by Lingo's Estate for my years of dedicated work directly with Lingo.

The film is suitable for all ages. It is a real step back in time, to the days when self-help and "getting back to nature" was much more in vogue than today. In the film, Lingo presents his fundamental ideas in a humorous and colorful way.

I hope you enjoy the presentation.

    In 3 Parts

    Part 1 at http://www.youtube. com/user/ neilslade# p/u/1/TWhebdjNqM k
    Part 2 at http://www.youtube. com/user/ neilslade# p/u/0/Tnv213dJpR U
    Part 3 at http://www.youtube. com/user/ neilslade# p/u/0/JkYvWR0ryw c

    ¤=[Post Update]=¤

Rats!! Let me go find them.. Lingo is the inspiration for "clicking forward". Not coming up on a paste and click.

    I emailed Neil.
I'll report his responce. He is NOT a guru at ALL.
    Just a messenger.
I happen to be a supporter.
    I did'nt start this thread.
It seems to help me. All I can say.

My personal take is that it doesn't really matter how one labels it. It's obviously a part of our humanity.
Perhaps we would have been aware of it long ago had we not been led - by society - by religion to believe othewise.

Maybe now's the time that we all should be made aware of what we're capable of and maybe we need a quick fix, because we don't have the 20 years or longer the same results may take using traditional meditation methods.

The barriers of your belief will form the bars which imprison your mind.

You are an inspiration Conk – you have come such a long way. One little secret to share with you – forget accepting everything else and accept yourself as you already are cos once you’ve mastered that then you can’t help but accept everything else.
Gita, that reminds me of Shakespeare's: "To thine own self be true, and it must follow as the night the day, thou shalt not then be false to any man."

Shakespeare is thought to be the Pen name of Sir Francis Bacon - the guy who helped edit King Jame's' new version of the bible in the 16th century. Whenever I think of that saying, I wonder if he plagiarised it from the old bible version.

Teakai, I’m no poet but if I was then we would all know it!

Anyways, talking of Shakespeare/Bacon, I’ve been watching the vids on this thread. From what I remember reading somewhere, Bacon had a hand in ‘revising’ the bible so you may be right!

thank you , i found out what that persistant clicking i've been getting in the right side just behind the ear was about, i believe we are in the process of getting more in touch with our bodies and finding out a greater range of potentials "they" didn't pass on to us
