I am NOT in favor of open borders. My post was an explanation of the rationale of people who ARE in favor of open borders.

Well good, and I'm sorry to get you confused. I'm glad you don't even like being associated with the position of open borders. People think they mean well, and I use to be favorable to all of that "I'm a citizen of the world" stuff, but that's easy to say when no drug cartels are cutting people up, or when no Islamic rape gangs are recruiting all the girls from the neighborhood and throwing acid in peoples' faces. Then all the rhetoric begins to show its real-world results and we start remembering why we did things differently before.

And I also think that the Wall may be the only way to keep the Mexican border safe, though I didn't come to that decision easily. But the CIA has become so powerful, that curbing them is not going to happen overnight and in the meantime, that border is a catastrophe.

It's worse than just a bad border. Globalists run Canada too, but we still generally have good relations with Canada because the Canadian people themselves don't hold any particular hostility to Americans. The case is much different in Mexico. A huge chunk of Mexicans (something like 40-60%) are openly hostile and subversive to the US government and would love to see California and Texas return to Mexico even though they simultaneously realize that it would just turn into exactly what they were fleeing from in the first place.

This is the whole paradox of, "Yeah, we're Mexican and proud! F You, America!," but then once deported back to Mexico, crying, "My life is ruined!"

I can understand why Trump always says he has great relationships with the leaders of Canada and Europe, but I'm not sure those reasons hold up as well with Mexico. They are borderline an open belligerent to us at this point. Or really, they are already openly belligerent against US, and only the mass media spin keeps the average American unaware of it. When a Mexican presidential candidate is campaigning in California, it's pretty blatantly belligerent. He is effectively marking his territory.

2 weeks later Joan was dead. Coincidence? Maybe.

Personally, I don't care what someone's sexual preference is as long as it's 2 consenting adults. However, if #44 is keeping a secret like this, how easy it is to manipulate him. I believe this would be way more explosive with the US public then his questionable birth records. Together, dynamite.

I said I got you confused, which makes me the one doing the confusing.

Anyway the point is the same, that however you are imagining our immigration policy "should" be, it has never been more open or broken than it already is right now. Being incredibly lenient on people trying to break into your country becomes an open border policy at some point, and that's what got us to this point in the first place.

Agreed Ba-ba-Ra

Obama has quite a "past" & a ton of evidence & witnesses (many of them now mysteriously deceased), to back it up, but the "evidence" that Michelle is [allegedly] trans is largely weak and mostly altered Photoshopped stills.

Arranged marriage quite likely. (nothing new there!)

I do believe Joan Rivers & Michael Jackson (and a host of others), were "popped off", though.

I would love it if that really came out and could be proven to the public, but I think what would follow would be an avalanche of "politically correct" protests that the Obamas couldn't safely come out because of so much sexual prejudice and discrimination, etc. to the point where it would just be disgusting.
Whereas the birth certificate thing would not be so easy for them to digest or protest, and Obama's Muslim connections would have to come out along with the birth info too, and that is much scarier than an issue of sexual preference.

Fortunately we have quite a lot of ladies who can be both ornery and pleasant, appropriately depending on what the situation calls for, and I feel I'm in good company in that regard.
