Record-breaking fire tornado killed California firefighter

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — In the history of California wildfires there has never been anything like it: A churning tornado filled with fire, the size of three football fields.

An official report describes in chilling detail the intensity of the rare fire phenomenon and how quickly it took the life of Redding firefighter Jeremy Stoke, who was enveloped in seconds as he tried to evacuate residents on July 26.

Three videos released with the report late Wednesday show the massive funnel of smoke and flames in a populated area on the edge of Redding, about 250 miles (400 kilometers) north of San Francisco.

The smoke-and-fire tornado was about 1,000 feet (300 meters) wide at its base and shot approximately 7.5 miles (12 kilometers) into the sky; it reached speeds of up to 165 mph (265 kph), with temperatures that likely exceeded 2,700 degrees Fahrenheit (1,480 degrees Celsius), said the report by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.

The tornado exploded in the middle of what was already a gigantic, devastating wildfire that started on July 23 with a spark from a vehicle driving on a flat tire. Stoke is one of eight people killed since the blaze started and destroyed nearly 1,100 homes. It was 76 percent contained as of Thursday.

A 17-year veteran of the fire department, Stoke was familiar with the dangers of wildfires. But this was unprecedented.

"There have been several documented instances of a fire whirl in California," said Jonathan Cox, a Cal Fire battalion chief. "But this is the largest documented fire whirl — a fire-generated tornado — in California history."

The 37-year-old fire inspector was driving his pickup truck down a Redding road, working on evacuating people from the larger blaze, when he radioed out a "mayday" call, according to the report.

Stoke said he "needed a water drop and was getting burned over," the report said.

Then Stoke's transmissions abruptly stopped.

An engine captain who heard the call asked for Stoke's location. There was no response.

Fire dispatchers tried to locate him by 'pinging' his cellphone.

Stoke's remains were not found until the next day, and it took more time to analyze the ferocity of the tornado that ripped roofs off houses and flung power line towers, cars and a shipping container into the air near the spot where Stoke was overtaken by the flames, according to the report.

A confluence of weather conditions likely contributed to the tornado, including a combination of record heat in the Sacramento Valley — it reached 113 degrees Fahrenheit (45 degrees Celsius) in Redding that day — and cool high-speed winds coming from the coast, the report said.

"It was something out of this world, a perfect storm," Gary Parmely, who was Stoke's stepfather and raised him from the time he was a child, told the AP in a telephone interview Thursday. "It was incompatible with life, and he happened to drive into it."

Parmely said he has driven out several times to the site where Stoke died. American flags, flowers and a framed picture of Stoke have been left in memoriam.

"The loss of Jeremy broke the heart of this community, not just his family," Parmely said. Stoke leaves behind a wife and two children. Stoke was on vacation with his best friend in Idaho but cut the trip short, Parmely said.

"He came back early to help fight this fire."

The report also detailed the death of private bulldozer operator Don Smith, 81, of Pollock Pines, who was killed when his bulldozer was caught in the flames while trying to improve a fire line, defending a home, during what the officials say were "extraordinary fire weather conditions."

Both deaths occurred within an hour and 50 minutes in one 3-mile (5-kilometer) stretch of the Carr Fire, which is one of several massive wildfires in California this year.

The Carr Fire jumped the fire line and a Cal Fire crew chief said he made several radio attempts to tell Smith to "get out of there." Two firefighters in the area also "recognized the urgency of the situation" and tried to reach Smith on foot, but had to turn back because of the encroaching flames.

Smith reported that he was cut off by the fire and was pushing on in his 2002 John Deere open cab bulldozer in an attempt to reach a safe area. He also requested water drops and four helicopters began dropping water through the smoke and flames around Smith's last known location.

Once the smoke cleared, a pilot saw that Smith's dozer had been engulfed in flames and there was no sign of the protective metallic tent that firefighters deploy as a desperate measure when they are about to be overrun by fire. After two attempts, a fire captain was able to reach the bulldozer two hours later and confirmed that Smith was dead.

I have just viewed some of the first videos above and one with Deborah Tavares after which I followed through with the rest of her videos on the subject of DEW, directed energy weapons. Regarding the fires, they certainly look as though they could have been beamed weapons creating fire from above. Another possibility exists, and that is fires deliberately created by passing certain types of wavelengths through house wiring they THEY know will cause deadly fires. How else can you explain that all the houses burned and the surrounding vegetation was left green and standing.

Deborah's other subjects were connected and covered the fact that Rothschild owns PG&E and an obvious Think Tank Plot is being worked out to remove housing to make way for water reservoirs, train tracks (disguised as biking paths) over 300 miles long through the redwoods which will be cut down, probably to make railroad ties. She goes on to speak of the deadly frequencies and control mechanisms awaiting us all as mostly dead or living slaves of Rothschild and Rockefeller's. This is why JFK was murdered, because he knew the secret plan or plot and they had to silence him. They will soon take our currency away which is in banks owned only by them. She also outlined the plan to own and control all energy by putting up a space apparatus to direct the sun's rays to send us massive solar energy, which, they, of course, will own and control and can become a weapon, when directed, to cook us dead. She pointed out that our voting is fraudulent and all the politicians are actors involved in a plan to steal trillions of dollars (human labor) while enslaving us. During the California fires, one theory came up consistently:

The fires were geoengineered using a type of microwave called "scalar beams" and their HOMING SIGNALS are SMART METERS.

Laser Induced Plasma Channel weapons are directed at high voltage targets, homes with smart meters, and demolishing fires occur.

That means, by deploying smart meters they are weaponizing our homes with Tesla technology.

Instead of using technology for the benefit of humanity, they have suppressed the potential for free energy and they are nefariously using technology against humanity. These crimes go back to the early 1900s.

Our regulatory agencies have been compromised and corrupted, just like a large majority of our politicians. They are complicit by making health and safety standards that are not nearly sufficient. The corruption has engineered the agencies to work for the big corporations. The industries are acting unethically because the laws are unethical.

We need to get the details and educate ourselves, and educate others and put a stop to this ASAP!

There are too many foxes in the hen house! People are trying to work within the system to fight it, but the system is already rigged by industry/corporations.

Locally, we are pushing back on smart meter deployment. Some think they need to be educated about the health damages, risks, etc., but they already know. We are dealing with deception and an insidious agenda that operates outside of the law. (Except the ones they made in their favor so they can not only act with impunity). But they hide behind false science and BS stories that they expect people to buy into. Some do. Some don't.

The way we dig deeper and deeper into the research and share it with others, the more we can create a footing on which to proceed.

I was left with one question. Maybe best here than on the Strangeness of the California Fires thread, where it was posted. I'd love someone to put this to Wigington himself.

When the reality of Global Cooling becomes incontrovertible in open-source mainstream science — maybe as soon as 2020 — what would be the formal justification to keep spraying?

I know the obvious answer to the question — that they're evil, and want to kill us all (or something like that!). But there are MANY government scientists on the 'inside' who sincerely believe that this is the last-ditch attempt to stop cataclysmic global warming. They really think this is the right thing to do. Much of this is already in the public domain. There are papers about it in science journals, and publicly visible patents, and geoengineering conferences.

So what happens when all those thousands of people say: "WAIT! This is all going in the wrong direction. We're actually making it all worse."

I don't think it would worry the elite too much once enough people realize we are heading into a mini Ice Age, because they already have so many depopulation methods in operation. I think Mike Adams is onto something here:

(WARNING: Hoagland is being INCREDIBLY rude, interrupting his guest Deborah Tavares at every turn, asking the kind of questions that would be more appropriately targeted at children than at adults. I'm only partway way through, and I don't know if I will want to listen to any more. update: ) So I've continued listening, and it's gotten better. I can actually understand Hoagland's questions and attempts to get Tavares to slow down, because she has had a tendency to rush through her information without providing enough detail. However, it would have been a lot better if he had forewarned her that he was going to do that, because at first it almost seemed like he was giving her the "bum's rush". But he continued to be condescending, which I think was entirely unnecessary and arrogant. A transcript of what Tavares and Freeland had to say would be great, because there was a lot of essential information provided. )

I spent literally 10 mins trying to find the audio link to the show on the page, then gave up. I couldn't find the Archives page, either. Where is it?

I did a search too and couldn't find the audio. Possibly a quest that Paul could accomplish, or possibly Hoagland took it down. I made a complaint in the chat about how bullying and rude he was to Tavares during that talk and actually got a response back from his administrator who said she agreed and that there had been other complaints as well. Not his shining hour!

I spent literally 10 mins trying to find the audio link to the show on the page, then gave up. I couldn't find the Archives page, either. Where is it?

I spent literally 10 mins trying to find the audio link to the show on the page, then gave up. I couldn't find the Archives page, either. Where is it?

I did a search too and couldn't find the audio. Possibly a quest that Paul could accomplish, or possibly Hoagland took it down. I made a complaint in the chat about how bullying and rude he was to Tavares during that talk and actually got a response back from his administrator who said she agreed and that there had been other complaints as well. Not his shining hour!
