I just came here to this thread now, to post that I had also reported the demise of Great Awakening subreddit over on another thread, in response to a (no longer working) link to reddit in a recent post there. My initial report of the demise of Great Awakening subreddit, which I posted about two hours ago, with screen shots showing that the subreddit was taken down nearly three hours ago now: Q REVEALED. Even though it's really not funny. I am really disturbed by all this arbitrary censoring. It makes me love Alex Jones all the more. He's definitely smart enough and hopefully has big enough pockets and lawyers to fight on behalf of free speech.

The greatawakening subreddit, on reddit.com, has been one of the most important social media forums discussing Q, since at least January of 2018.

Q is currently making his initial posts in a couple of subforums on 8 chan (8ch.net).

A subreddit devoted to QAnon, a conspiracy theory that's captivated far-right social media, has been banned by Reddit.

On Wednesday, the company banned r/greatawakening for "repeated violations of the terms of our content policy," a Reddit representative said.

"We are very clear in our site terms of service that posting content that incites violence, disseminates personal information, or harasses will get users and communities banned from Reddit," the representative said.

The QAnon conspiracy theory has become popular among a group of supporters of President Donald Trump. Allegations include that a multibillion-dollar cement company and Tom Hanks are involved in child sex trafficking and pedophilia, and that Trump and special counsel Robert Mueller are working to take down the Deep State.

QAnon began in October 2017, after a user going by the name "Q" starting posting to 4chan's far-right /pol/ message board. Q claimed to possess insight into the inner workings of the American government, particularly agencies tied to the so-called Deep State. He or she warned of the "Calm Before the Storm." The "anon" in the name QAnon is a reference to 4chan and 8chan users who refer to anonymous users as "anon."

r/greatawakening had over 70,000 subscribers as of yesterday, Digg reported.

The magnitude of it is creepily like having something 10 miles across appear in the sky above us, casting a shadow over an entire city or civilisation.


I'm really thinking this thing about China ( a communist corporation ) calling the shots is what it's all about. It's as if Trump and Flynn are the only ones who didn't get the memo. It's not the rabble lefties in the US. Most of them are useful idiot weapons of cultural destruction, or are high up like the clintons, running their own deals to get to live in elite cities and retire as smug crooks.

Even though I do not buy into the Qanon phenomena, I do wonder why Reddit could not have dealt with rule breakers on a post by post basis, rather than axing the entire subreddit. Doesn't appear to make sense, and now, it's going to "validate" the movement even more in the eyes of the researchers.

My son, who is more of a gamer than he is a tin-foil-hat wearing bovine autist like his father, and who has one political foot in more left coast, main stream, politics (he was frustrated by Hillary's destruction of Bernie Sanders), but who is a regular member of Reddit, announced to me that his interest in Q (of whom I have been telling him more than he wanted to hear) increased after I showed him the banned GreatAwakening subreddit (which he had visited on occasion in the past.)

I have a hard time believing AJ was 'created' to attack whatever emerged as the Q phenomenon, years ago.


I'll keep my eyes peeled, of course, but that's not adding up for me, so far. Actually, on one level AJ has something Q doesn't exibit at all ( because he can't yet ). AJ has a big heart and a vibe that's totally human and caring.


Q may be all of those things too, but until we meet him, Alex is still my grounding spike into the rock of humanity.

I don't read it like that. I read it as a test to see if they could get AJ by the means used, they would also use the same template to attack Q.

My biggest concern is that once you take something away, you almost never get it back at the same level as it was before it got taken.

For example, if your salary gets cut, for whatever reason, you have to fight and hope it gets back to the same level it was, using an incredible amount of energy just to get a level playing field, which we had and is slowly disappearing.

It's just harder to get it back once it's taken and it almost never happens. You're constantly behind the eight ball.

As such, the time has come to leave the platform entirely.
