From what I am reading, the "secret space program" may have been used in Moonraker, it should be checked.

Just for the sake of completeness, I did check. (A fun little project!) Here's the screenplay. and here's the book. I couldn't find the specific phrase 'Secret Space Program' in either.

But in subsequent commentary and reviews of the movie, 'Secret Space Program' is mentioned frequently — including here, in Jan 2010, on the old Avalon Forum.

Paul, you got the zest of trademarking. If any writer/ producer in the UFO field contest the trademark right away, it will never be granted. Corey is not trademarking a car or a new game. He is trademarking a common field.

It will be much costlier if trying to stop the trademark later on, if it ha been granted by a stupid clerk at the trademark office, who has not done its job, or who is a friend of Corey (an assumption for the sake of example, not the truth-with guys like that one has to protect oneself). Anyone having used these terms ready to send an e-mail?

And he has real stupid lawyers. I would be angry at them if they were my lawyers. He probably underpays them. So they only do what they are told, without analysing, and shlick shlick for letters sent.

I probably could trademark "apple" to name a new breed of cow that I came up with in my genetics engineering lab...

but I could not trademark the word "apple" to refer to my commentaries or other media relating to the existing Apple computers. What's more, it wouldn't take the substantial resources of Apple's legal staff to stop any such trademark efforts on my part. Unless Corey Goode has some inside influence in the US Trademark Office (or whatever they call themselves), Corey Goode's applications should be rejected without significant dispute.

I have a vague recollection that I read somewhere a few days ago that Corey's "lawyer" had only applied, not yet been granted, any such trademarks.

So if that's the case, then I agree (from my totally amateurish and mostly ignorant understanding of the law) that Corey should not be marking such phrases (TM) yet.

This is one advantage that Corey has in this dispute: he's pissing off poor people. Anyone who goes up against a major corporation in a manner that is as legally incompetent as this appears to us would be difficult to distinguish from the bug splatter on my car's windshield the next day.

Well, using the top return result from a Google search for the phrase "legal use of TM symbol", I learn that I was wrong.

Google says:

The TM and SM symbols are used with unregistered marks: TM for trademarks, or marks that represent goods, and SM for service marks, or marks that represent services. The federal registration symbol, or ®, is reserved for marks registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

So, yes, from my still totally amateurish, but hopefully ever so slightly less ignorant understanding of the law, Corey may use the (TM) mark on those various terms.

I don't think Corey Goode warrants all the time and attention many people are giving him. I say that mindful of the bigger, more important issue to the effect that truthful and unfettered disclosure is what is at stake and that legitimate research into the UFO phenomena, and those devoted to it, are under assault. I just feel that in the end CG will rightfully be regarded by most people as a snake oil salesman.

I may catch some flak for this, but I have to say that I think Pigtail Gurl is absolutely beautiful; not only physically, but otherwise too. As far as I can tell she has her heart, brain, mind and spirit in the right place.

Also, when I see and listen to her she puts me in mind of David Icke. She's a female version of David. (Or he's a male version of her. But I'm sure David has a few years on her in this field.) And I mean that in the most benevolent and flattering way for both of them.

There, I've said it. (I think I'm blushing.)

I have to confess that I also don't allow comments on my YouTube only because it would be a full time job reviewing and responding to it there. But I am available for direct interaction elsewhere and make that clear. I've found that the truly interested folks with sincere commentary will make the effort to go there, but the trolls will not. I don't like trolls, they serve NO true useful function. By trolls, I don't mean people who have criticisms and post them with a real profile. I mean the cheap-shotters and the shills. So I can't blame JC for doing the same on YouTube.

And she sounds, and looks, and senses very much like my dear friend Serena who is sensationally gifted (and experienced) - I could devote an entire thread to Serena's enlightenment, but obviously not on this particular thread. That can wait.

PigtailGurl slices through the nonsense very very well and with enormous perspicacity, honesty, and genuine insight.

(Let's pick up with Joe now because he's really on the right track too.)
