Many thanks Bill for such a worthwhile Q&A opportunity within Avalon.

    My question:

We have many threads, including this one, where pre-incarnation planning and trying to recognize such are discussed.

We also have many discussions about malevolent actors/methods interfering with the human soul death-reincarnation process.

How do you view Dr. Michael Newton's Journey of Souls books containing regression-gained content but without any (as I recall) trace of this malevolent interference - rather just a group of helpful entities supporting the rebirth planning process?

I have not yet been able to reconcile this for myself.
I don't believe anything, but I have many suspicions. - Robert Anton Wilson

The present as you think of it, and in practical working terms, is that point at which you select your physical experience from all those events that could be materialized. - Seth (The Nature of Personal Reality - Session 656, Page 293)

It's in the Avalon Library, here — but I'm afraid I've not yet read it.

Really enjoying this thread so far Bill! Some of the questions are blowing my mind, let alone the answers. Like this question. Holy cow...

What if YOU were the experimenter, would YOU have a purpose? I've given it a bit of thought, and I imagine if I was experimenting on humans, I'd like the end result to be for everyone to have "common sense". Don't go into the light!! It's common sense!! (just a little light hearted humor here!)

    I really don't know.

There are two kinds of scientific experiment (basically).
    1. To attempt to achieve a desired result (e.g. making a new alloy or chemical compound with certain specific properties).
    2. Just to see what happens if you do X, Y, or Z.

Well, here's something that's always intrigued me. We almost never hear or read anyone referring to this.

    Look what humans do.
    • Extreme sports.
    • Stand-up comedy.
    • Ballet.
    • Punk rock. Hip-hop.
    • Create great works of literature.
    • Play cricket. And soccer, American football, hockey, basketball and tennis. And 100 other strange sports. (And yes, they're all strange!)
    • Meditate for months in a cave.
    • Magic shows at children's parties.
    • Dress up as clowns in a circus.
    • Produce great works of art and classical music.
    • Sacrifice themselves for a cause, or for someone they love.
    • Kill animals. Save animals.
    • Kill each other. Save each other.
    • ... about 1000 other interesting, quirky, and maybe unique things.
Can you imagine a Gray alien, or a Reptilian (or even a saintly Nordic!) doing stand-up comedy?

Maybe the experiment was to create a blend of every trait that had ever manifested in any galactic species, all in one race. And just see if it could be done.

Hi Bill I enjoy your answers and "wisdom".

Two thought for you to ponder about...a bit philosofic i suppose.

I believe we all have flaws as a person. Mostly we know them well. Do you care to share your "flaws" with us, if any

Secondly the "fear" phenomena. What is your take on it and why is it so "easy" to manipulate people using "fear" in your opinion?
Life is good, almost always !

The one question I wanted to ask was your opinion on Billy Meier.

I know you and Kerry gave him a visit and were not able to interview him probably due to the weird cult that surrounds him now.

But regardless of the weird cult that now surrounds the elderly man, I think there is still validity there, I was curious of your take.

The 'flaw' that's created the greatest problems (and disappointments) for me is that I've always tended to trust too much.

The 'fear' question is interesting. I had to think about that for a moment.

It's an archetype, for good reason. It's hardwired into the human morphic field. For the last 200,000 years (or however long a period one chooses!) there's been more than plenty to be afraid of, sometimes all night and most of every day. As has been often stated (and I think it was probably pretty true), life as a neolithic hunter-gatherer was nasty, brutish and short.

Tough times extended right up the modern era. Disease, famine, persecution, death giving childbirth, infant mortality, maybe slavery, or its close equivalent: all these were commonplace.

And now, those more primitive (but well-founded) fears have morphed into different areas. Fear of failure, fear of social or sexual rejection, fear of losing money, fear of not having enough friends on Facebook. And a whole ton of neuroses and anxieties that may never have existed before.

This image might raise a smile, but there may also be truth there.

As I summarized in my post #144 here:
I believe he started off (back in the pre-digital 1970s) as the real deal: a genuine experiencer and contactee.

But then he started to exaggerate and wildly invent more claims, and grossly fake his photos. The latter unfortunately discredits the former... everyone loses.

Interestingly — after I wrote that, a few days ago — Linda Howe in her recent interview with Ray Boeche and Nick Redfern, shares at 1:27:19 — 1:29:57 how she was told by Jacques Vallee that he was convinced Billy Meier's experiences were real, as were the Japanese TV crew who visited him at that time. That was back in 1979 and the early 80s.

If i may, I truly believed Billy Meier's story as well. Not sure why after all the mumbo jumbo. Its just my gut instinct. Even with all the disinfo goings on. I always hold true to my gut instincts.

Have you ascended the Old Man of Hoy, the Cuillins, and what Lake District Peaks...? Wales - Snowdon, Ben Nevis, et al. After watching a fell-runner doing over 200 fells in just over 6 days, I wonder why...? He said the views were fantastic...

Just watched a C5 documentary about traversing the closed railway tracks from Preston to Cockermouth. So sad. Storm Desmond washed away an iconic bridge at Threlkeld in 2015, but reinstatement funding almost there for pathway. We want our rail links back. Now developers want to block our right of way from Cockermouth cemetery to Slatefell. Demo was today in pouring rain. Local planning ignores thousands of protests on this flood plain, so disappointing...

Well, I'm delighted to have a softball question like this!

Never the Old Man of Hoy, but I did climb the Old Man of Stoer. Getting to the start of the climb involves someone actually swimming over to it to establish an anchor for an improvised rope bridge. I generously allowed my climbing partner Paul to do it.

I've been on the Cuillins many times (on the Isle of Skye). The Cuillin Ridge itself is a long, sometimes arduous adventure. I tried that 4 times over 18 years (once in winter, where we got about 200 yards before giving up) and eventually succeeded on the final attempt. It took two days.

There's no water up there, so to avoid having to climb down hundreds of feet to find some, I took a giant watermelon with me (which probably has to be a first). It was heavy, too! Paul — the same friend as above, who I shared many expeditions with — thought I was quite nuts, but boy was he happy to tuck into it with me when we reached our little half way bivouac camp.

I've been on all the English Lake District peaks (where I used to live for several years), and also many in Scotland. Ben Nevis, yes, many times. This, the prominent pyramidal thing on the left, is a photo of the North-East Buttress of Ben Nevis. (It really does look like this on a blue-sky winter day.)

But when Paul and I went to climb it, the weather was foul and misty and cold. Here's Paul, doing his heroic thing:

There's a funny story attached to our climb that day. At the very top of that pyramid above, there's a feature known as the Mantrap. It's a blank, steep, icy 10 foot rock wall, and it has a fearsome reputation. Strong teams have been known to have been defeated by it, being forced to make the long and difficult descent right back down to the valley floor again. There's no way round it except up or down.

Paul and I were so freaked out by the stories we'd read and heard about this thing, that we were in a totally hyped up state for the entire climb. To our astonishment, in all the snowy gloom, after climbing for hours, we suddenly found ourselves at the summit. We were so intensely focused, we'd climbed right past the Mantrap without even knowing about it. Here's our summit selfie, looking pretty relieved.

    * Trivia: this photo was taken 15 years ago (that's me down on the left), and I still have that same yellow Goretex storm jacket. I take it with me on every mountain trip, including tomorrow when Mara and I will be heading to the mountains for a day with Warren Light (Avalon member wnlight), and his own dog, Pepe the Giant Poodle. Photos to come.

Thanks again for the fun question. It's quite a lot easier than talking about ETs, Kerry Cassidy, or the fate of Planet Earth.

You mentioned in an earlier reply that you are a Trump supporter. I was too and still retain a modicum of hope that he will drain that swamp.
However, I find it difficult to understand or in any way sympathise with his apparent support for Israel to the complete detriment of the Palestinian people. What are your views on this policy?

Secondly, how big a threat do you consider the rolling out of 5G to be?

    Many thanks.

Re Trump and Israel/Palestine, me too.

    5G is a massive threat.

Hi Bill, what are your thoughts on a Loch Ness monster type creature that is rumored to be in various bodies of water around the world (LN, Lake Champlain, Lake Okanagan, etc). Is it BS or could it be some sort of dinosaur type amphibian creature that never died out??

When I was a kid, the big 3 were aliens, Bigfoot, and Loch Ness monster.

If you could make just one book mandatory reading for everyone, what would it be?
I'm going to cheat, and quote two.
    1. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, by Robert Pirsig.
    2. The Holographic Universe, by Michael Talbot.
If pressed for just one, it would be the first.
Snap, I knew there was a reason I was attracted to this project of yours Bill, that also is one of my very favorite books, and An Inquiry into Values and Lila also is magnificent-the concept of 'Quality' is one that our current age is wrestling with.
Are you planning to do anything with Richard Dolan, appear on one of his live streams for example-I think that would be a terrific way to promote your work, and promote the truth cause?
Sorry Bill, of course you appeared only last year with Richard on his podcast, to discuss recent developments, and the probity of the SSP narratives. I guess I am saying yourself and Richard are terrific people, I stand behind you guys, for what that is worth.

I've always felt there's compelling evidence for lake (and sea) monsters — whatever they are! — which have been reported not only from Scotland (Loch Ness, and also Loch Morar), but North America, Africa (the Mokele-mbembe in Congo) and also Russia. There are MANY reports from credible witnesses, over many decades, that are bewilderingly hard to explain.

The best books I ever read on the subject, all well-researched and well-written classics, were by the veteran Belgian biologist Bernard Heuvelmans (1916—2001).

His books on Amazon are very expensive now, and I can NOT find any PDFs for the Avalon Library. (If anyone has them, please let me know!)

And, an interesting omission: as best I'm aware, despite all the threads about Bigfoot/Sasquatch (and the Wawa Grande in Ecuador!), there's little or nothing on the forum about lake and sea 'monsters'. I'd definitely be happy to contribute to such a thread, as it's one of many subjects of this nature I do feel I know quite a lot about.

Regarding the Knights of the Round Table.
There was an an organisation founded by Dr. Felkin in New Zealand. The story was how he was on a sea voyage to the US and encountered a man who gave him the information of the brotherhood of which he was the last survivor and so became committed to reforming it, which he did in Havelock North new Zealand.

Whilst I was in a medical practice nearby I became a member. Already familiar with metaphysics in The Aetherius Society I had no difficulty in being accepted.
The name adopted was The Chivalric Society but it was a cover for the "The Table Round"based on the rituals of the Golden Dawn with the theme of "The Knights of The Round Table".
As time went on the members aged and scattered after the temple hall was destroyed in a fire together with all records and equipment.

I had left New Zealand at the time and learnt of it from a visitor two years later. This was in 1970.

There is an account and a picture of the leading magician Jack Taylor on the internet.

Two more....Thanks again for answering and taking your time in giving your thoughts on some really great questions.

1.Who do you think actually constructed the pyramids in Egypt?
    2. The validity and or credibility of Simon Parkes in your opinion/words. Was he an actual experiencer, and does his character exemplify the truth? If you can briefly, thanks.

Can you imagine a Gray alien, or a Reptilian (or even a saintly Nordic!) doing stand-up comedy?

Maybe the experiment was to create a blend of every trait that had ever manifested in any galactic species, all in one race. And just see if it could be done.
That's an interesting way of looking at it - I never thought of that before. If we could choose a type of experiment to be, let's choose "successful experiment"

I can't imagine aliens, not even close!! Tell you who I can imagine doing a stand-up comedy act though, that big blue Jinni from Aladdin.

That "Aladdin" movie really got to me, man! I know ALL the words...
