First of all, I have no doubt that 5G is going to cause serious issues. I do have to question the OP quote where someone is suggesting that diabetes is caused in large part by electromagnetic pollution. In many, many cases type 2 diabetes responds beautifully to diet change alone. If the person goes back to his previous diet after the body has overcome the diabetic state the diabetes will return.. I somehow don't see diabetes being caused by electromagnetic pollution. I can understand neurological, mental health and many other problems but diabetes and obesity, I'm not so sure.

I probably should have looked into this a bit more before commenting. It seems this type of diabetes is called type 3.


Diabetes and Electrosensitivity

President Donald Trump really, really likes 5G.

The White House on Thursday announced that it was developing a plan to "position the United States to lead in next generation wireless networks for years to come."

5G, which refers to the fifth generation of cellular technology, has been hailed as the foundation for other big trends like self-driving cars and streaming virtual reality. The announcement comes as the first rollout of high-speed 5G networks is expected to begin later this year, with broader deploying coming over the next two years. Beyond the US, China, Korea and Japan are keen to get into 5G quick too, creating a new kinds of technological arms race.

With all the hype surrounding 5G, it's no surprise the White House wants to jump on the bandwagon.

"We're on the verge of new technological revolutions that could improve virtually every aspect of our lives, create vast new wealth for American workers and families, and open up bold, new frontiers in science, medicine, and communication.

The development of the National Spectrum Strategy will be led by the Secretary of Commerce, who will work across agencies to ensure that there is sufficient spectrum, or radio airwaves used to ferry wireless data, across a broad base, with a particular focus on the use of wireless networks for military purposes.

Getting more spectrum in the hands of carriers -- particularly rural carriers -- is critical to the broader deployment of cellular service.

Under this proposal, federal agencies will be tasked with submitting a report to the Commerce Department on anticipated future spectrum needs and current spectrum usage within six months. The Office of Science and Technology will be responsible for preparing a report, which the Commerce Department is scheduled to share with Trump in nine months.

A spokesman for the White House wasn't available to elaborate further on the plans.

The Federal Communications Commission has already been working to get more spectrum in the hands of carriers. FCC Chairman Ajit Pai and Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel spoke to CNET last month about the need for a national broadband plan to connect everyone in the country.

This isn't the first time 5G has been linked to Trump. In January, White House plans for a national 5G network leaked out, although it's unclear how realistic they actually were. In March, he blocked the proposed acquisition of San Diego-based Qualcomm from then Singapore-based Broadcom because of Qualcomm's importance in the development of 5G. The White House even held a 5G summit in September.

That's why a thick soup of coverage is planned with antennas everywhere and thousands of satellites. Then the phones and "internet of things" devices people will be using. The coverage will be unavoidable, especially for people in cities.

Why is it that "people living in cities" is just accepted... maybe a lot of these issues would be resolved if people didn't?


I lived in a city once... it's not natural, cities are the problem we should be focused on... the only reason to condense a population like modern cities do is to take advantage of labor (people), it doesn't improve society, culture or personal relations...

but yeah; 5g is bad (and we are guessing on this) when we know cities ARE bad.... I'm not sure this is an effective use of attention.

There are two types of 5G; or there is only one but lots of misinformation on purpose to create confusion so people do not become upset. There possibly is a 5G that is the next generation after 4G. Then there is the 5G that needs to have antennas installed on public utility poles every 10-20 houses in urban areas.

5G = 5th generation

5G's current implementation (requires at LEAST 20mb/s) will take many many transmitters due to what I spoke of in earlier posts (higher signal density, far less penetration / distance for transmission, just like WIFI, the faster it goes the less far it reaches).

there isn't a single study that says millimeter waves cause issues with humans... if your that worried about it then the next time your at the airport going through the stand up body scanner... you're being swept with millimeter waves.

The point is we don't know how it effects the skin and DNA or the telecoms know and are withholding the information. The body is a finely tuned instrument already under toxic burden from various forms of pollution. 5g is no doubt going to be the straw on the camel's back for some people.

Cities get the worst electrosmog yet antennas are planned for rural areas too, and there's the satellites. This thread isn't about cities though. I'm sure most people on here would agree that they are not the best places to live in regard to pollution. However there's a lot of people who might not be able to move or who don't know better. If you believe that cities in general are a concern why not start a thread about it?

Are you trying to dismiss and shut down the concerns about 5g as focusing on shoes while there is a car accident? I'm sure there are people who have suffered the effects of electro sensitivity who would disagree with you. You might not personally suffer ill effects but that doesn't mean others conform to your experiences.

To me it's so obvious that 5G is bad for all living creatures including human.
I thought 5G is just next generation of 4G technology.
The more I learn about 5G, it's terrible, sick, wasteful technology which only serve for the big corporations and elites.

Saying "5G is irrelevant to health effect or there is no proven evidence" is ignorance.
Educated people, engineers and scientists are so blind by technology.
Most of them got lost of the sense of self preservation.

well, I've worked with radio signals for about 20 years, I worked on the warlocks in Iraq that jammed signals, I used Oscilloscopes to analyze transmitted radio waves of all types (to include cell towers, sat, wifi, HF, VHF, UHF etc... (there's lots)). If there is something there I ddin't see then it's very well hidden and I doubt anyone knows about it.

I do not doubt something like what you speak of is possible, but you have to have people who really understand the systems to maintain and troubleshoot them, a whistle blower would be out there by now... based on my experience I do not see what you speak of used in any large scale way & these higher Ghz (I think they might run up to like 25ghz?) bounce off the outter layer of our skin.
